Extreme Difficulty is unlocked upon beating Hangar. Lets start by saying the A.I. is idiotic. If wave 1 only has suicide bombers, take them out and move to wave 2. Kill all opponents except for a solitary machinegunner. He'll move to a spot where he can shoot the village, great. Move yourself around until you're in a position where he's shooting at you, but his bullets are blocked by a building or fence so he can't hit you. Wait until time runs out and the achievement is yours.

Finish The Village (on Easy helps) without losing any civilians. For them to die, the house will need to take too much damage. If you let a solitary demoman near the house to cause some damage, then collect the repair kit, you'll have both of these in the same game. Once Handyman pops, naturally you can stop repairing and kill anyone else before they get close to the house.

Easy to do on Village, grab a FAMAS or other gun upgrade, and stock up with ammo. Stand where the ammo drop lands, and shoot as many people from a distance as you can. You should make the 7 minute mark with little trouble on Easy. You will get 10 chain kills on the last round easily if not before. Thanks to the latest patch, there is about 5 seconds in between each kill to keep the chain going.

Beat the mission Hangar on any difficulty, just progress through the story. Unlocks Extreme mode and two bonus stages, Xmassacre and Legacy.

Here's a real achievement - even on Easy you need to be careful. Buy yourself a nice gun, recommend the FAMAS (has its own achievement too!), and makes sure you fill up on ammo before starting the mission. An achievement is worth a few thousand bucks, right?

You still want to take down the machine gunners, but make sure you primarily focus on the demomen and launchers. You'll probably play a few times to get used to where they spawn. Two demomen near the start and two after the checkpoint/radio. There are a couple of launchers along the way, and be careful of the three at the very end. The first one spawns in the middle of the road - if you're not expecting it, I recommend taking the rocket to the face rather than dodging and having it hit the bus. Once clear, run into the center of the village at the end so the two launchers on either building focus on you and not the bus. Once the last two explosive enemies are taken down, finish off the machine gunners outside - while the bus can take a beating, you don't want it to knock it down a notch right before the end.

Once you beat Hangar, you can change the time limit on a stage to Endless. Pick a stage you're familiar with, though Village works well. Try and work yourself into a position where all enemies are shooting you instead of the village - and hitting a wall instead. Not too hard - just take out any suicide bombers or rocket launchers from a distance. Not too hard, really. Achievement pops as you hit the 30 minute mark.

Kill all chickens on a map. There are around 10 or 11, and placed in different areas each time, just take alook-see. Achievement pops on the final kill.

I'm uncertain if this achievement still counts on Breakfast, I scored it before this stage was unlocked.

Make 15 headshot kills in one round, you'll see by their head popping off and your combo meter increasing. Take your time and aim carefully, you won't get hurt too much on Easy. Also, don't get too close the aim is a little screwy. Works just fine with the pistol early on.

Unlocked at Lev20. Pick the same position/wave as Rocket Man (below), wait for the enemies to get together in a bunch and let 'er rip. On my first attempt, I got 8 kills with one hit, this should be real easy once its unlocked.

Load up Village (or Xmassacre) once you have purchased the rocket launcher. Stand behind the village well (see completely serious picture below) and kill the 4 enemies in wave 1. When wave 2 arrives, wait for a group of soldiers and suicide bombers to group near the fence ahead on the right and fire away. It may take a few tries to get the timing of the rocket to hit all 4 in one hit.


You want to do this regardless to unlock the better weapons. Will happen naturally as you progress. As a general idea, completing Village on Medium difficulty requires just two runs to level up from 19 to 20. Once you hit Level 20, you can purchase the Air Raid for the Death From Above achievement.

A recommended purchase regardless, though the achievement is really here to advertise new features with the update. Probably just thrown in to show off the new gun. A good idea to get for Buckle Up anyway.

"Story" related, cannot be missed if you're progressing through the game. On the Breakfast stage, shoot all the many chickens to summon the overlord. Hide from his shots and keep shooting, really nothing to it. Drop the difficulty for easy achievement.

Chickens do not count as enemies, just keep playing. You will likely get this before you reach Level 20. Just play the game, pick a stage you're comfortable with like the Village where they only (really) come from one direction, and fire up Endless mode.

This achievement is a real grind, and theres nothing to it. Quickest way is to just repeat Breakfast over and over and over until you're well and truly sick of chickens. Such an awful way to extend play time of this game.

The item used to be found in the Village, hence the description. You could see a third package drop on the far side of the village when supplies are called in. This is no longer the case - when you purchase the minigun, the achievement unlocks (like the FAMAS).

Another achievement to advertise the update. If its just the achievement you're after, pick the cheapest outfit, helmet and accessory and be done with it. You're spending time with the game, may as well try out a few options and pick something you like.


As easy as the description states. Buy the specific accessory, play a round with only that one equipped. If you havent already done it before, you'll need to do a few hundred rounds of Breakfast for the chicken kills, may as well get these too.
