There is a massive problem with teamwork in ps that some have attributed to the lack of rally points, micless squad leaders etc so i hope this will improve that even just slightly. Also, i did not find this that would go to its_GrimeZ who found this out on the post scriptum reddit and i am creating this guide just to get this knowledge further because his thread only has 6 upvotes and i don't imagine that most of the playerbase uses reddit

How you do it
Open up your console, it is automatically bound to ` which is just below esc and left of 1. The type in CreateSquad *name* and hit enter and you are good to go. Please use this in your games as it can really help the teamwork problem we have right now, again thanks to Its_GrimeZ for finding this out.

There is a textbox right next to the "Create section" button. No need for console commands

Yeah without the rally points you try to use msps like rallys but with people just roaming around they can intercept your squad and take out some of your guys who will often die instantly to headshots, it is so hard to keep your squad together as you will have to halt your squad and wait for them to head back to you and they or your squad may be attacked while this is happening so you can lose even more of your squad. Then you will probably just move to the objective with 4-5 people out of 9 because you just cant keep your squad together at all.

When you dont have the Rally points, I find that the team effort within a Section is not as natural as in Squad. When you have a rally and the ability to follow your SL with the Rallies he puts out etc, it gets a lot easier to FORCE teamplay upon the Section members. Also, I actually believe some of the maps in PS can enforce asymmetrical warfare ,- you rarely have a visual further than a few hundred meters AT MOST, and so people dont necessarily have to work together because you can basically sneak around on your own a lot in the bushes etc. In Squad the a lot of the maps are MUCH more varied and a lot consist of hilly terrain that makes for a VERY tough fight if you go a lone up hill.

It's hard to tell if the lack of teamwork and mics is because of the game still being in the BETA (lots of new players who are not familiar with Squad etc) / people having technical problems or trying to sort out graphics etc, not taking the match itself seriously ---- OR if it due to something innate in the game mechanics, something that makes it mroe compelling to actually just run around like in a BF game. I think it might be a mixture of all of these. But I DO believe, strongly, that for people who come from Squad, not having the Rally system can lead to less teamplay.
