Modular Airfield Runway

Beskrivning
Ntech brings you a modular runway that saves PCU for you, and allows you to number your runways with the built in screens on the ends of the runway. There are 4 different sections available allowing you to have either a straight runway aligned to your station or the angled sections to be angled from grid.

These sections are equivalent in cost to the same amount of heavy armor, since they are single block sections this makes them even more durable then the same amount of heavy armor.

Video explaining runway numbering

-credit for mod idea goes to Helfire and his request for a runway instead of using refineries.

That is odd, will have to look at that

Had to stop using this mod. Each runway piece was nuking my sim speed by about 0.1
10 pieces later My sim speed was about 0.05. Can't figure out for the life of me why this would be so computationally expensive.

yeah, don't know what it is, but have to turn the friction on wheels down to like 25 to 30% when driving on these runways. Both on a dedicated server and in my solo world. No alterations done to mod configs either.

That's odd, they're just regular blocks, and have not heard of this behavior before

What if settings, if any, can be made to reduce the grabbiness of the runway blocks on vanilla wheels. It is like driving on unwelded blocks. I can drive straight, but the instant I try to turn, it insta stops the wheels.

I couldn't find something fitting my use case in the alternatives (the other was Too cheap) so I made a variant of this using the already existing AQD concrete we use on our server.

I referenced your mod as the original and hope that's ok. If not, I'll see if I can make it private or something. So long I can share it with the people i play with it's good enough for me.

Thank you for your awesome contribution :NekoPawRight:

Sadly this one is absurdly expensive. I wanted to use these as a gravel dump - and they are - but even after a substantial amount of mining and using gravel exclusively for this mod's cement I still haven't completed filling the cement for one piece of the runway.

can you please add this video to help people decide runway numbers?
