Longer Days

Mô tả
This mod lengthens the Skyrim day by a few hours. The sunrise is a little earlier and the sunset is a little later.

Sunrise is officially at 6am with roughly 1.5 hours of daylight beforehand. Sunset is at 9pm with roughly 1.5 hours of daylight afterwards.

Vampire Negative effects adjusted. 6am until 9pm.

Questions / Confusions

Confusion: Or you could just type Set timescale to 14 in the console, or if you want real time days then type Set timescale to 1

Longer Days [Longer Nights] is not changing the speed at which game time moves. That's what set timescale to ## via the console does - it [set timescale to ##] either speeds up or slows down game time **relative to real time**.

Longer Days sets the sunrise to be [physically] earlier (and shorter) and sunset to be [physically] later (and shorter) = more game daylight hours in **game time**.

It makes no difference what timescale you use, the sun will still rise and fall at 6am and 9pm respectively. How many hour of *real time* daylight you have in between is subject to your timescale. No amount of timescale adjustment will change the time at which the sun rises and falls in game time - only **real time**.

If you set your timescale to 5000 the sun will rise and fall super fast in relation to real time, but in game time the sun will still rise at 6am and set at 9pm game time.

Questions: So how is this different from me just changing the timescale via console?

Answer: See above.

****************************

Question: So to confirm this isn't a timescale mod.. It's a daylight extend...

Answer: Exactly.

****************************

Confusion: Wait. So this mod makes time go slower? So there is more daylight?

Answer: No. See above.

****************************

Confusion: So, you just made a pointless mod that can be accomplished via the timescale console command? LAME!

Answer: No. This can't be accomplished using a timescale adjustment. See above.

****************************

Question: I can still use the timescale after I've downloaded your mod?

Answer: Yes.

****************************

Question: How compatiable is this with mods that reduce cell respawn time?

Answer: Longer Days does not change the amount of hours that are in a day. [its still 24] If a Cell Respawn mod lowers or raises the amount of hours that must pass before a cell resets, it does so based on total hours lapsed.

Would it be possible to change this so it is tied to the month of the year?

i like the idea of this mod...is there a way of making the nights even shorter? and add some kind of lore to it like using areals bow with the sun arrows to make night time not as long or not exist for the duration that it's set at?

It's great mod, but not realistic for SKYRIM, since Skyrim land is actually a NORD land, frozen land mostly, so... not so longer days (as it is in my country, Mediterranean one)...
...But is a good useful mod (not so realistic, but good).
