Introduction
This guide was made based on the original Vita version. I got lazy partway through and abandoned it, but with the PC release I decided to put it up. If there are differences between the Vita and PC versions or anything I missed or forgot, please let me know in the comments.

Some information in this guide was obtained from RRPG[rrpg.jp] and the Gamefaqs forums.

Most achievements in this game are unlocked during the course of normal plot progression, but it is still possible to miss some, if you don't clear quests or explore much. Additionally, missing some of the requirements for the endings will bar those achievements, and it's a slog to have to run through the game again because of missing something, so I recommend fulfilling the conditions for the Good End, as you can still choose to get the Bad End even when the requirements are fulfilled. Be sure to keep multiple saves at various points in the game, just to be safe.
Achievements (1/2)
Escapee
Obtained all Trophies!

Just follow the advice in this guide for any trophies you need.

Promising Researcher
Filled the Jail Creature Manual with 10 creatures.

Should unlock early on. Find 10 different enemies to add to the manual.

Liberated District Advisor
Cleared 10 work orders.

Work orders are the quests in this game. Most consist of “Find x items” or “Kill y enemies”. Accept and clear 10 different work orders to unlock this achievement.

Some items are easier to buy from the traveling merchant.

Murderer
Defeated all Nightmares outside the Jail.

Defeat the bosses of the following areas: City Streets, Graveyard, Temple, Downtown, Dorm, Waterside, and Station Grounds. Unlocks on killing the Station Grounds Nightmare.

Purity
Conducted Purge for the first time.

Successfully complete the Purge minigame (Yes, it’s the lewd rubbing thing) after it become available. Just rub the blood off whichever girl you decide to do it to. You only have to do it once, unless you like the minigame, then you can do it as many times as you want.

Together As One
Raised one heroine's affection to max level.

Give gifts to a heroine until the trophy pops. Each Blood Maiden has likes and dislikes, but as long as she doesn’t dislike it keep giving them gifts. Raising affection is also how you unlock more Massacre Mode skills. Note that you won’t get the skills until you view the Blood Maiden’s affection events.

Liberated the City Streets!
Cleared the City Streets area.

Complete Chapter 1.

Liberated the Graveyard!
Cleared the Graveyard area.

Complete Chapter 2.

Liberated the Temple!
Cleared the Temple area.

Complete Chapter 3 or 4, whichever one you chose to do the Temple on.

Liberated Downtown!
Cleared the Downtown area.

Complete Chapter 3 or 4, whichever one you chose to do Downtown on.

Liberated the Dorm!
Cleared the Dorm area.

Complete Chapter 5 or 6, whichever one you chose to do the Dorm on.

Liberated the Waterside!
Cleared the Waterside area.

Complete Chapter 5 or 6, whichever one you chose to do the Waterside on.

Liberated the Station Grounds!
Cleared the Station Grounds area.

Complete Chapter 7.

Liberated the Jail!
Cleared the Jail Tower.

Complete the game. Ending does not matter.

Liberated the Underground Jail!
Cleared the Underground Jail area.

Post game only, although you can visit Area 1 of the dungeon before then. Must have cleared the Good Ending. The entrance to the area is located in City Streets 2, use the Mary Reverser to cross the pit in the bottom right of the map. Achievement unlocks on killing the Nightmare in the dungeon.

I strongly recommend that you follow the guide on how to navigate the bonus dungeon below. Most of the Underground areas are 100x100, and it takes hours to fully explore them.
Achievements (2/2)
Going Back to Jail
Unlocked the Bad Ending.
Missable!
Do not have the Mary Reverser unlocked. Alternatively, after defeating the final boss, use the wrong Blood Skill when prompted. Note that this can be done even if you possess the Mary Reverser, just select something else.

It is entirely possible to miss this ending if you are on track to get the Good Ending and save over your game after doing so. Make sure to keep a save at the point of no return, or deliberately Bad End first.

Sweet, Sweet Freedom
Unlocked the Good Ending.
Missable!
Requires the Mary Reverser. See Gun Part Locations below.

During the course of the game, there is an event where Jack and Alice have to choose a room in the Dawn and investigate. Make sure you pick the Laboratory to discover the Monitor room.

In one of the final sequences of the game, you will have to answer four questions. The answers are as follows:

1. Dawn
2. Professor
3. Select the note with the leaf on it.
4. Monitor Room

After defeating the final boss, use the Mary Reverser when prompted.

Established Biologist
Completed 80% of the Jail Creature Manual.

If you’ve been thoroughly exploring the dungeons this should unlock during regular gameplay. If you need more enemies to fill the manual, try exploring the bonus areas that unlock after defeating a Nightmare, or growing the Jail and exploring the new areas.

Greatest Ally?
Hameln joined your party.

The earliest you can get this is Chapter 7, since it requires all Mary Gun parts. After upgrading the Mary Gun, use the Mary Reverser in the bottom right of City Streets Area 2 to cross the gap and enter the bonus Underground area. Defeat the Blood Maiden at the entrance of the dungeon to recruit Hameln. Note that while you can walk around the first floor, there are no enemies and the rest of the dungeon is locked until the postgame.

Warning: Hameln is a difficult fight if not prepared. Be sure to stock up on items and prepare blood splatter before the battle. Consider dropping the game's difficulty to Dream if need be.

Gluttony
Satisfied the Jail's Hunger.

Fill the Jail’s Hunger gauge. Overkill enemies to fill.

Sloth
Satisfied the Jail's Sleep.

Fill the Jail’s Sleep gauge. Avoid damage when the Jail is sleeping and walk around to fill it.

Lust
Satisfied the Jail's Libido.

Fill the Jail’s Libido gauge. Draw from Emotion Points and/or use the Lick command to fill it. Emotion Points can be farmed by drawing from one, stepping back, saving with Alice’s Rabbit Hole ability, and reloading to draw from it again. Rinse and repeat.

Endless Possibilities
Unlocked all of the heroines' jobs.

Use Job Rights to unlock the other jobs for a Blood Maiden. Does not require the Sakura Maiden job, as it was DLC.

Greed
Collected 100,000 Gold.

You should eventually get this during the normal course of the game.

You Can Count on Me
Cleared 50% of the work orders.

Same as the earlier one for 10 work orders. Keep completing Work Orders throughout the game and it will unlock. If you’ve been completing everything that comes your way, you should unlock it in Chapter 6.

Self-Sacrifice
Protected the heroine 100 times.

Easiest to achieve in Chapter 1. Just have Jack use Guard 100 times. He does not have to be hit for it to count, just selecting Guard will count toward the achievement.

On a New Level
Blood Devolution reached Level 80.

Requires a Level 81 character with Devolution Rights. Head to the Lab and use the Level 80 Blood Devolution. If you need to level, set the difficulty to Nightmare for more experience and use only one party member so she (and Jack) get all the experience. Make sure you can safely defeat the enemies you fight.

Unleashing Its Power
Gained the Blood ability Mary Reverser.

Required to unlock the Good Ending. See Gun Part Locations below.

Adventurer
Entered a hidden floor.

After defeating a dungeon’s Nightmare, a previously locked floor in the dungeon will become open for exploration. Find it and enter it.

The Jail Matures
Matured a floor.

Fill one of the Jail’s Desire Gauges and land on Jail Growth on the Roulette. Must be in the dungeon, and not during battle. Does not always appear on the wheel. An easy way to trigger the Roulette constantly is described in the Lust achievement above.

Understanding One Another
Raised all heroines' affection to max level.

Same as with Together As One, just give gifts and max out all the affection of all the Blood Maidens. Viewing their affection scenes is not necessary to unlock this achievement. The Secret Character is required for this achievement.

Blood Impulse
Activated a Blood Ability 100 times.

Use the Lick command 100 times. If you need more blood splatters to use the command, go to a lower leveled area and Overkill the Marchens there to fill the gauge quickly.

Awakening
Entered Massacre mode for the first time.

Massacre mode activates when the Blood Splatter dots under a Blood Maiden are full. Fill them by Overkilling enemies or hitting them with their weaknesses.

Rampage
Entered Blood Skelter mode for the first time.

Blood Skelter has a chance of activating when the Blood Meter is full the darker a Blood Maiden’s Blood Gauge is. The gauge darkens when the Blood Maiden is hit or KO’d.
Gun Part Locations
The gun parts are located in:
Downtown - Area 4
Dorms - Area 2
Stations Grounds - Area 1

The Prison Key for Dorms Area 2 is located in Area 3.

All parts are located in Treasure Chests. Bring them to Haru to install them and unlock new functions for the Mary Gun.
Affection Event Locations
After raising your affection with a Blood Maiden by giving her gifts, specific events become available to view, each of which unlock a Massacre skill. While the majority of these events take place in the Liberated District, some of them are located and have to be viewed in the dungeons after reaching the point that they have to play. The locations for these particular events are as follows:

Red Riding Hood:
Downtown - Area 3

Snow White:
Temple - Area 2

Thumbelina:
Dorms - Area 1

Hidden Character:
Station Grounds - Area 3
Jail Tower - Area 3

Additional note: Some Affection Events are gated by the main plotline. For example: While most of Alice's events are available as soon as you raise her Affection, some of Kaguya's require you to reach a certain point and will not play before then, no matter how high her Affection is. (*One of Alice's events requires the Blood Maiden recruited from the Waterside, but does not prevent you from viewing her final affection event. The event in question unlocks the Massacre Execution skill. Thanks @Egg for the information.)
Quickly Clearing the Bonus Dungeon
Follow the route by Arrawnt, from this[gamefaqs.gamespot.com] Gamefaqs forum thread.

The Nightmare in this area has a party-wide sleep skill. It doesn't always hit everyone, but come prepared to counter it.

Reproduced higher quality versions of the maps:
Early Advice and Tips
Rabbit Hole
Alice's Blood Ability, Rabbit Hole, allows you to create a save point almost anywhere. Use it frequently, there's a reason it only costs 1 SP. Additionally, there are 99 save slots, so make use of them and keep multiple saves at different points in the game.

Meat Shield
Class change Alice or Cinderella to a Paladin and have her learn cover. Equip Agility boosting accessories to raise her speed and have her use cover to protect the rest of the party from most enemy attacks.

Cinderella technically makes for a better Paladin since if you use lick on her you can get a heal, but there is no real best class for a Blood Maiden or Blood Maiden for a class.

Tiny Princess
Some items are much more useful when shrunk with Tiny Princess. Try it out on large, heavy weapons, or outfits and armor. For example, hammer type weapons and the Nurse's Outfit.

Blood Abilities During Murder Hunt
Most Blood Abilities can be used when running from Nightmares. For example, Sleeping Beauty's Rose Arrow will temporarily stun the Nightmare on hit, and Kaguya's Bamboo Guard can block one attack from a Nightmare when running during a Murder Hunt.

Rabbit Hole cannot be used during a Murder Hunt.
Becoming Overpowered (and other tips)
These will absolutely shatter the difficulty of the game.

Early Weapons and Armor
After Chapter 3, the Jail Tower area will open up. While it's clearly intended to be an endgame dungeon, you can exploit it for items and weapons. Enter when your Libido gauge is near full and save near an item spawn point. Then employ the same trick described under the Lust achievement to farm items and tip the gauge into a roulette.

Select the Merchant Encounter Up on the roulette wheel and then walk around until he appears. The weapons, items, and armor he sells will all be endgame or near endgame quality. While expensive, even a single weapon can turn a Blood Maiden into an engine of destruction.

Experience in the Jail Tower
Once you can survive a few fights in the Jail Tower, you can rack up some good experience there. However, the enemies on the first floor give poor experience, rush to the second floor to start farming.

Greed is Good
Want items and money galore? Class change Snow White into an Item Meister early on and put points into her class abilities to increase item drop rates. Sell whatever you don't need.

Additionally, you can change Sleeping Beauty into a Blood Hunter and put points into those class abilities for increased money.

Total Enemy Party Kill
Class change into Speed Gunner as Sleeping Beauty and/or Kaguya or Marshal as Alice and/or Cinderella. Use the Merchant trick in the Jail Tower detailed above and buy a Proto Gun for a Speed Gunner or a Howl Eater for a Marshal.

Have the Blood Maiden in question learn an AoE attack such as Amber Red and put extra points into it. While the 31 SP cost of Amber Red is expensive early on, the high damage and speed of the Speed Gunner and Marshal classes allow you to destroy all enemies in one or two turns, assisted by an overpowered weapon equip.

For a magic user instead, grab the Mortal Force skill. It costs more but hits the weakness of an enemy, for more blood splatter.

Make sure to keep careful watch over the Corruption level. Blood Maidens running a setup like this move faster than Jack, meaning they can Blood Skelter before you get the chance to clear it. If they go Blood Skelter and use AoE attacks on your party, it's going to hurt.

Boss Killer
Similar to the above, but instead of running skills like Amber Red that hit all enemies on the field use Rage Rush instead. In a normal battle with multiple enemies on the field it'll attack them at random, but during a boss fight there's only the one enemy on the field, which will be hit multiple times for massive damage.

Late Weapons and Armor
After upgrading the Mary Gun with all the parts and recruiting the Secret Character, you are free to roam Area 1 of the Underground, the post game dungeon. While there are no enemies and nothing to explore, you can still encounter the Merchant by simply walking around for a bit. However, his inventory is nowhere near as useful as it is in the Jail Tower. While he may carry the very best weapons, more often than not his merchandise is a random mix of early and late game items.
Collecting Notes and Unlocks
Collecting Notes
These notes slowly unlock a prologue story that was sold separately in Japan. You should easily find them during the normal course of play, they're placed in the paths you have to go to clear the dungeons. Read the unlocked story after collecting the last page to understand some events that happen after the point the last page is picked up.

Character Endings
The Blood Maiden whose ending you get is determined by the affection points. If they're all maxed out, you get the ending of the Blood Maiden in the first slot of the party.

CG Gallery Unlocks
The various character ending CGs are unlocked by finishing the game with each Blood Maiden's ending. See above.

Other Bonus Unlocks
To unlock the other character portraits, you need to have class changed at least once to each class.

Heroine memories also include the character endings, if you're wondering what the "???" scenes are and you've already seen all the other affection events.
Misc. Information and FAQs
If you're stuck or confused at a particular point in the game, some of these might help. This section will continue to be updated with answers to questions asked in the comments.

How do I get to area?

The areas in the Jail are all connected to one another as shown on the map. You can navigate to the next area via an adjacent area. Check the signage at the entrance of each section to determine where the staircases are.

From the:
  • City Streets, you can get to the Graveyard, Temple, and Tower Base. After collecting all the Gun Parts, you can also get to the Underground Cavern from here.
  • Graveyard, both Downtown and the Tower Base are newly accessible, and you can always return to the City Streets.
  • Temple, the Dorms can be found ahead, while the City Streets are behind.
  • Downtown, you can head to the Waterside or back to the Graveyard.
  • Dorm and Waterside, the final area outside the Tower, the Station Grounds, can be found.

Locked Chest in the Graveyard
There is a locked chest located in the Graveyard, which cannot be opened when first found. To open it, a Prison Key is required. It contains a healing item, although by the time you think to go back and check it said item isn't worth much.

Using Items as an Item Meister
Learn and set the "Item" skill. Then, during combat, select Skills -> Item. Warning: As item use is considered a skill, it is affected by Skill Seal.

Can I clear the Tower Base early?
You can enter and explore the Tower Base as soon as it opens up, assuming you can survive. However, there is no way to access the Upper Tower before the main story allows you to. You can walk right up to the Core but cannot interact with it. Yes, I tried.

Chapter 3 - Temple or Downtown?
Pick whichever area you want to go to first in Chapter 3. The unchosen area will become the dungeon for Chapter 4. The only things that will change are a few minor lines of dialogue. Going to the Temple will have Kaguya join your party, while Downtown will give you Cinderella.

Warning: The Temple is really big and winds all over.

Temple Nightmare Boss Battle
The Nightmare in the Temple area has a different fight compared to the other area Nightmares. Rather than a parts break battle in real time followed by a turn based battle against the stripped Nightmare, this fight is entirely in real time, in a small area just for the battle. To defeat the giant Nightmare, you have to run to the porch on each floor and engage it, and defeat the segment of the Nightmare there, hopefully revealing a crystal during the battle. If a crystal is revealed, destroy it. Destroy all the crystals to defeat the boss. If you happen to find and destroy the crystals early you won't have to fight all the floors.

When navigating the floors, the boss will unleash attacks that affect groups of tiles. These can be blocked with Kaguya’s Bamboo Guard, or you can move out of the way. Tiles will flash and change color in warning before they are hit, similar to one of Compile Heart's other games, Trillion.

Additionally, there are objects scattered about the floors that do some bonus damage to the boss. Use the appropriate Blood Ability on them, such as Snow White’s bombs on the cannons.

Temple Area 4 Key
The key for the locked door in this area is across a large pit with a nearby hint on how to get it. You cannot get the key until you unlock the Secret Character. Use the Secret Character's ability at the edge of the pit to obtain the key and explore the rest of the area.

Chapter 5 - Dorm or Waterside?
As with the Chapter 3 pick above, select whichever area interests you most. You'll find Gretel in the Dorm, and Rapunzel in the Waterside.

Heart in the Waterside
If you're stuck in the Waterside and not sure how the advance, you need to head to Area 3 and find the heart shaped slate. After obtaining it, use Thumbelina’s Blood Ability, Tiny Princess, to shrink it. Head back to the locked door with the heart indent on it. It will open, and you can proceed to the next area.

Aceso's Tome
While this weapon is only the second best Book you can get, it has a massive hidden boost to healing spells. Equip it and even the weakest of healing spells will heal chunks of HP. Look up who Aceso is if you're curious why.

In City Streets Area 7, you can actually fill the map a bit more.

In the pathway filled with Dragon Statues that breath fire, you can use Rapunzel's Bloody Skill to fill the map with the Dragon Statues, which will be marked as "?". Actually, one of them is actually marked in your map.

I have been walking around for a while and trying to find how to get to the dorms. When I look it up it says I need to get to Temple Area 5, but I'm stuck behind a locked door in Temple Area 4 that supposedly can't even be opened until I get the secret character that also can't be unlocked until I reach at least chapter 7

This is getting to be a hassle and it's incredibly frustrating, I'm not sure what I'm missing here.
Pay Child Suport 23 Jun 2023 @ 2:11pm
question, what can i do with intestine? and is the blood splatter after an encounter really just a fluff thing?
D҉us̷k͠ S̡hλde 9 Jul 2020 @ 9:48am
I have a slightly more complete map of Station Grounds Area 5 that I can send you if you'd like to display it.
X1123 10 Jul 2019 @ 12:23pm
Also, I did a bit of the math and found that backline (non-active members) get 50% of exp from what **each** active member gets after battle.

(Example:

With party of 5 members (not including Jack) - 6000 exp = 1000 * 5 exp for each active member, 1000 - to Jack, 500 exp - for each backline member;
With party of 1 member (again not including Jack) - 6000 exp = 3000 exp to active member, 3000 exp - to Jack, and 1500 exp for each backline member)

So, to maximize exp for backline you need to have only one party member active (for example in my case "Destroyer" Alice with all crit and damage buffs + "Amber Red" spam).
Maybe it will help some players with grinding.
kichithewolf  [pembuat] 5 Jul 2019 @ 8:13pm
@X1123 If you have a Speed Gunner I'd equip them first.
X1123 5 Jul 2019 @ 11:21am
So, if I have money for only one end-game item, which one should I prioritize getting?
tanhao287 12 Jan 2019 @ 7:23am
@kichithewolf I succeed in free purge but failed in normal mode... The blood splatter around her mouth can't be wiped in normal mode. Guess it's a bug? Nevermind since it's not related to achievements. Thanks again!
kichithewolf  [pembuat] 11 Jan 2019 @ 4:37pm
@tanhao287 (sorry about the late reply, ignore if you've figured it out) did you try panning around all of Hameln? I recall the blood on her being quite splattered about.
tanhao287 8 Jan 2019 @ 4:00am
Super helpful! BTW, why can't I purge Hameln successfuly? It seems there are only 3 areas I need to wipe, however it fails everytime. Is it a bug?
