2018/07/27 Update: model overhauled, and smoothing errors gone!

Finally figured out how to use Blender, so this is my first release involving significant changes to the animations. If there are any problems, please let me know. Special thanks to MrFunreal, seija, and Shampooh for their help.

Why does this use default AK sounds?

This pack is compiled without custom sounds so that people with sound mods can use them easily. If you want the sounds ported from Insurgency, click here. If you're interested in a full fledged sound pack that I made, click here.

Wait, why use this mod instead of the countless other AK releases?

This mod is a bit of a Frankenstein combining three mods together with all the assets ported from Insurgency. Unlike the rest of the Insurgency AK releases on Workshop, this one is rigged not on Cele's animations, but Insurgency's own custom animation set. It is also posed much more snugly to avoid viewmodel/worldmodel clipping. First person animations have animation blending, and attachments (magazine, laser) should attach/detach normally. Animations are timed correctly and fit their time frames, and the camera moves more naturally during gameplay. Also, no custom sounds included, so feel free to use with any sound mod you please! If you don't like it, please check out the credits for alternatives.

one of the shooting animations seems to make the gun and the muzzleflash jerk around.

Im so glad this doesnt use insurgency gunfire, because its so quiet and weak. The models and
the animations in insurgency gun mods are really good but at least on this mod we can use better sounds, so thanks.

@[Clymer Pirate] I purposely slowed it down because with the sped up one, the gun jumps around the screen a little too much when compared to other weapons. Other ported guns use the walk animation for both walking and running, so I could look in to that. Thanks for the feedback.

@nope This is really good! The only thing I would comment on is that the running animation doesn't match the foot steps charactors make when they are running. I think speed it up more should do the job. Thank you for this awesome mods!

Oh thanks i think the reason i thought it had a new particle effect was because the ak skin i used before trying this one had no muzzle flash so i forgot the ak had a muzzle flash at all. sorry about the confusion

@BODYWEIGHT BUILDER: This mod doesn't include any particle effects, if you're referring to the pictures those were taken with isHollywood.
