How to obtain Early Access Flag and Cape DLC
By Wariat117
Just visit this link from steam database:
https://steamdb.info/app/618730/
Press green button "Free" in the top-right corner and it will add Early Access Flag and Cape DLC to your library.
It seems that recently "Free" button was replaced by "Install", sometimes install works too, but I have no way of checking since I have the DLC already

There is alternative link which says it's still available
https://steamdb.info/sub/166057/
But it requires some extension in order to press the "add free license" button
https://steamdb.info/extension/

Previously this guide showed 2 other steam's early access DLCs too, but their store pages got removed and after some time devs released them as legit DLCs.

This works great, thank you! The 'install' button works as it should.

"is it patched?"
no idea and I have no real way of checking it

all I can see is that the "free" button was replaced by "install"
pretty often pressing install worked for free stuff too so I can't say whether they blocked it or not

but they still list free as avaible option in details
https://steamdb.info/app/618730/subs/
https://steamdb.info/sub/166057/
status is available ^ but now it requires some extension to press "free" o-O

The tone in my posts is normal, I don't look at people like at inferiors. And there I have been just stating facts.

You didn't say I'm wrong, you tried to shove it into my face with all your force, but it failed so you called me rude

Those other 2 EA DLCs were purchasable previously, they were simply hidden and this guide showed links to them, but later devs decided that they make money by revealing those to public so I have removed those 2 links already.
The one from guide was never purchasable, unless you count claiming free to play dlc as purchase (the link I posted is steam database, the "free" button is only for free to play stuff)

"and I hope you get the answers you are looking for" -> but you are the one looking for some answers there o-o

I haven't said you were wrong. Ever. I can see both my replies, and none say at all, that you're wrong. And the rudeness, is in the tone of your writing. It comes off pretentious as if I'm an inferior person. But that's fine. That's easy to get over. I don't really care about this silly problem any more any way. All I did was make a joke about buying the DLC, when it previously wasn't available. Anyway, I'll drop it, sorry. It really doesn't matter who is right and who's wrong, too. It's just a video game and it really doesn't matter, in real life. Being good at this game, absolutely will not make either of us multi-billion dollar business persons, or help us feed people, or save old people from burning buildings or get an actual job outside of YouTube or Twitch or whatever. So, farewell, again, good luck, again and I hope you get the answers you are looking for. Good day.

You are the rude one.
I'm saying that you can't buy the DLC whcih is mentioned in the guide...
And you try to shove into my face that I'm wrong... when i'm totally correct
DruagaBlackhart 12 Nov, 2019 @ 12:37am
Um, I'm sorry? I don't understand why you're being so rude toward me, as if this whole tiny, unimportant video game DLC problem, is my fault. I'm sorry that I've worked all day and my brain didn't fully understand your request/question. I'm also sorry I went out of my way to help a fellow gamer, only to practically be snapped at, because I was wrong about something I hadn't understood fully. Instead of being rude to me, you could have just reiterated on what you meant, or re-worded your request/question, or laugh and say that I was "wrong, but thank you for trying anyway", because that's what people actually expect of a community, not sass, rudeness and attitude because someone isn't getting their way or the answers they want.
Best of luck to you still, hope you get your answers.

Yeah, you have linked wrong DLCs. (there were 3 EA DLCs in total on steam)
As I said in other comment:
"you can't buy the DLC that is mentioned in the guide
devs made cash grab only for the other 2 dlcs which I have removed from this guide when they did this"
and you posted links to the other 2 DLC, there is no link to DLC from this guide

(P.S. I'm also an Early Access player, though I swooped my copy up the day it left Greenlight and was released, was too excited for it, lol; still love it's Adventure Mode, for sure!)
DruagaBlackhart 12 Nov, 2019 @ 12:14am
I certainly can!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/617100/Portal_Knights__Gold_Throne_Pack/ - Gold Throne Pack $3.99(USD)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/617090/Portal_Knights__Portal_Pioneer_Pack/ - Portal Pioneer Pack $2.99(USD)
https://store.steampowered.com/dlc/374040/Portal_Knights/ - The actual DLC list.
If none of these work, then Idk what tot ell you and I'm sorry you're missing out on some stuff. Although, they're all about 95% cosmetic and visual aesthetics, so imo you're not missing out on much. If these don't work for you, I hope you can get in touch w/ the devs somehow and find out how you get the extra stuffs, or are able to get a hold of someone who does know how, at least. Good luck! :steamhappy:
