GTA Online Starter's guide
By SUPER-TANK and 1 collaborators
This guide it made after my gaming experience and seeing some advanced guides. I will credit one guide because it's the guide that inspired me to create this. Anyway, hope it helps.
Exect wall of words, or just huge chunks of them. I know it makes people tired to read, just like me. But hey, it's content, it helps people to learn.
Credits to T-65B X-Wing as well as Provo and many other guides, as I'm fetching informations from their guides to build mines. If you think mines is crap, look at theirs. Really, I think X-Wing and Provo are much better than organizing. X-Wing didn't made much, but I'm sure that he's caught all the critical points of the game in a shorter manner.
Don't expect much pics. Unlime Provo who focus on the refined info, I'm more of a lazy guy.
NOTE: Do not expect MC content. If you do want that, Provo has one guide specified for MC bussiness.

Tutorial of the game (Skip if u don't like)
After you complete Prologue in story mode, you will have access to GTA Online. Though I think since Franklin and Lamar follows right behind, just do that too. Note that this isn't nesesary, you could just use P to pause the game here, and then find your way to the "Online" tab, and the game can begin......

You must go through a character creation in order to start playing in the world. You will have to go through various aspects of your character and yup, this isn't nesesary, because all of that aside from gender can be later changed by using "Change Appearance" from interaction menu(introduced later) for 100K in Freemode (Only avaliable not in missions or MC and stuff). Never ask me questions on this, because I do not know how to make your character look better. Get in the game fast is the point and appearance doesn't seem to affect your stats.

You will see a cut-scene as a Jet (Boeing 747) with yours and other's characters landing at LSIA, Lamar then greets you in a Black Emperor. He gives you a pistol then drives you to a race.
You then need to choose a car for the race. Your choices are limited, but I can tell you the truth: Win or Lose, it does not matter. I lost anyways.

Once the race ends, Lamar will tell you to disrupt a drug meeting and bring the goods to his friend Gerald (he also has many other missions LMAO). The first time I did it was like fight everyone then realize the pistol has no ammo (only a few dozen is given by Lamar), so I can't chase the drug carrier. Here's a better option: Just shoot to provoke the enemies there, and take a look at the pause menu to see where's the green dot going, kill him, then take a car and deliver it to Gerald. Cops will not be present, but don't try and exploit-it won't work after 2014.

You will now enter a freemode lobby, and Lamar will later tell you how to hold up a store. You only have a pistol, but a fast car is also needed-any from the roads will do. Shops are marked on the map by a basket icon so I don't need more gibberish on that. Just point that gun at the shop owner. If you can use a mic just yell a bunch of swear words whist holding him at gunpoint, or shooting around the items. Once he's loaded the cash into a bag, kill him (Preventing him from killing you if they have a shotgun), take the cash, get in the car, and escape the police. It's very hard at this point, but I can say that just keep off the roads and keep an eye on the radar, you will lose them eventually. (Note: YOU CANNOT HELP YOUR FRIENDS DIRECTLY, SINCE YOU ACTUALLY CANNOT JOIN THEIR SESSION)

Some time later, Simeon will call, and tell you to snatch a vehicle off the roads. You then need to bring it to LSC (Los Santos Customs) and install it with a tracker and full insurance, this time both are free.
You will then just need to do a Deathmatch or Last Team Standing with crappy weapons, it won't be hard, but still, you don't need to win.

Once all this is over, congratulations! You have finished the tutorial! Let me tell you something more in the next section!
Common Sense
Here are many things you need to learn and make use of in the game.
  • Intereaction menu: M activates it and you can select options. Inventory option is very important, as you can use your extra body armor and purchased snacks. You can also request personnel vehicles. There are just many more options that you never get to use, or otherwise useless.
  • Trolls and Griefers: Idiots trying to kill people for fun. End their little game by changing a session or passive mode. I don't 100% disagree with griefing however since it would be hypocritical if I said I completly oppose it. Just don't get too much like smashing people's cargo or stuff (I rarely do it, unless provoked). If you DO wanna grief, do it when you aren't on or preparing for some important work such as Vehicle Cargo.
  • Hackers and cheaters: Stay the F@CK away from them, change sessions if you need to, quit game and report to rockstar if nessecary as soon as possible for less chance of a ban. Rockstar bans people based on reports and Maze Bank Transactions so if you reccive hacked cash then do not deposit it. (Credits to @The Prettiest Pinkest Unicorn). This may be why rockstar's ban system is victum-targeting (Only thing I agree with gta wiki admins).
  • Solo-Public session: Go to task manager, find resource monitor, suspend GTA 5.exe for 10 seconds (no more otherwise you get kicked), done, everyone left but you remain. It's much of an advantage, I'll explain that later.
  • If you wanna use pause menu, P is a lot faster than ESC
  • Lester: lots of services (5m CD for invividual one), such as:
  • cops turn blind eye (cannot gain wanted level, costs 5000$ for 3 mins or until a cop is attacked rank 12)
  • remove wanted level (200$ per star, rank 21)
  • off the radar and reveal players (both costs 100$, first one hides only your own blip 4 a minute, second one reveals hidden players for unknown duration, but works only when the player's blips are hidden by default)
  • The rest......not so important services. Also, Lester will call you sometime after reaching rank 10, and you must visit him, otherwise his services won't be avaliable even after reaching the required rank since you don't have his contact.
  • To get your vehicle back if it's destroyed, dial mors mutal insurance. If your car was not destroyed by yourself/not destroyed for a long time/destroyed first time, the insurance preminum is free of charge and the car spawns at mors mutal lot. However, if you want it back quickly, just get any other personel vehicle, and drive it out. Since only one active PV per player, the other goes back to the garage.
  • If you die near your car while wanted, cops impound it. Just pay the 250$ to get it out, because it's not much.If you got a friend that doesn't have an impounded car, then said friend can sneak in and break the car out without a sweat - only if you set vehicle acess to them of course, and they also do not have a vehicle impounded. Note that the impounding the vehicle will simply move the vehicle and other conditions (such as bullet holes, engine damage, glass, and even doors) are perfectly copied over.
  • There's an animation if you eat snacks, but can be skipped if in a vehicle/in cover stance.
  • Do not buy helicopters or aircraft, because you can steal one once you reach the required rank:
  • Maverick 7
  • Cargobob 22
  • Annihilator 37
  • Buzzard Attack Chopper 43
There were just freemode spawns though, and in missions they do not.
  • Hold X to duck is a crappy function. I would not recommend it usually.
  • Keep an eye for social club activities, they can contain chances for profit. On holidays there's more of a chance. Heard of people getting banned just for gaining too much of it though I suspect that 99% of the time they are hackers lying so just tell them "Go F@CK yourselves loser", but don't take this serious, I've warned you.
  • Due to internet syncing, certain items and services that are rank-based will not be unlocked instantly when you fullfill the requirements, such as unable to buy Assualt Rifle after reaching Rank 24. You'd wait up to 10 minutes sometimes.
  • If the game somehow allows you to disable friendly fire (such as being the CEO or MC President) for you and allies, this does not apply to vehicles. Keep this in mind in many missions, as a badly launched grenade can easily ruin a team's effort.
Getting Started
So, you've got the tutorial completed? Good, now let me tell you things and stuff.
First you gotta reach rank 5, so you can unlock the Micro SMG (smaller UZI), that will be a good drive-by helper until you reach rank 34, where AP Pistol will be better.
Now here are a few choices for you to rank up.
Flight School: The lessons before ground level are moderately easy, but ground level is very, very hard, I can't even beat it. Try to reach gold medals, so you get a bigger reward. I fly aircraft moderately well, so my friends sometimes asks me to handle aircraft if they cannot by themselves.
Carry: Contact a high-rank friend who has good equipment, then tell them to carry you in a relatively hard mission that is very easy for them. So long as you do not leave, you get the reward.
Never go in freemode activities: They give you nothing.
Stay out of other player's invites unless they are your friends and you know you can help: Hate those things, cuz they waste time.
As you need a social club account to play the game, they also offer you 2 free rewards:
Once ammu-nation is unlocked at rank 3, you can go there and pick up Sawed-off Shotgun for free
Elegy RH8 is avaliable for free on legendary motorsports, for free, though you need a garage to get it.
Now in order to buy cars, you need a garage. The cheepest garage worths 25K, and if you followed my tips or got good help from friends, you can buy it from dynasty8 real estate, unlocked at rank 5. If you already brought collector's edition and is returning player, skip this part since it's free too.
Making Moves As Well As Money
Now your next goal is to gather 200K. I'll teach you some ways to get money faster if you do not want missions/cannot be carried.
You need 50K in your bak account, and you do not spend it, you just need it. Since job payouts are in cash, you need to bank them at maze bank, which is accessible via the in-game phone, on the internet.
Registered? Good. Now go to securoserv via intereaction menu, enter, and go to VIP work, start Sightseer. Make sure you can find a maverick at LSIA, also make sure other players are not stopping you (it can be done in invite only session). Start the work there. You need to perform a hack minigame.
Hackconnect.exe: like a word seach, but harder and constantly moving, if it matches press enter
Bruteforce.exe: only press enter when the red letter is in place
Data Crack: only press enter when the gaps are on the red line
Note that if any other player not in your organization kills you, you fail the mission. If you wanted to prevent this with friends, hire them as bodyguards (they also get payout when work ends).
Once the package location is revealed, you can proceed to pick it up. Distance will not be a problem with the heli, so just move on. After all 3 are collected, the mission ends and you get the pay.
There's a 5 min CD to start another work, and additional CD is added to the work you recently done, so, if possible, hire high-rank friends and just tell them to do all the work for you. It's all in freemode, so they can use anything they like. Seriously, VIP work is very very profitable. Combine that with missions, and you will get the money soon.

Treasure Hunt and Bounty Target are two side-missions that each can bag you at least 250,000. I'll put this in a later section.
Heists
Got 200K? Good. Now you need to buy a high-end apartment, at Del Perro Heights. The cheepest apartment costs you 200K if I'm not wrong. It's on the middle west region of Los Santos, and you can just purchase it from dynasty8 from the in-game internet.
You may ask "The hell I need this to waste money?" Well, it has a heist planning room, and heists can provide discounts on useful vehicles (useless ones as well), and they can earn lots of money.
You need to reach rank 12 to start a heist. If you didn't, just go do some more missions. If you did, then, Lester may give you a call to go to his Garnament Factory, Darnell Bros. (Not the "Call that tells you to buy facility for Doomsday Heist, it's way too hard.") In case you do not know the location, it's marked on the map by a white icon, and the factory is near the cheepest property (first garage I told you to buy) in the game as well. Play the story mode more if you still didn't remember the location, it's featured a few times anyways.
Once you go in the factory's doors, Lester will blab a bunch of stuff, you can go get some water, and by the time you came back with the water, you can start a heist. Go to your apartment and start it. Make sure you have a reliable friend, because I don't trust randoms.
The Fleeca Job as well as all it's setups only needs 2 guys, plus, there's a 100K first time bonus for each heist's completion. Please, set it on hard difficulty doesn't make it any harder. Don't go for the elite challange, not with this apartment.
Scope out - If you don't cause trouble, you should pass it easily.
Kuruma - if your friend has a Kuruma, tell them to use it, if neither has one, just fight off the gangsters near the Kuruma then dash to it and steal it. The rest is history.
Finale - Very easy, the hard part is hacking so do it wisely. Another one is when the driver gets the car hooked up with a cargobob's magnet, just keep up and don't overshoot or fall behind. Once the car gets caught on the magnet, you're golden.
Why I am telling you to do all this? It's because of one thing: Kuruma (Armored).
I won't even need to be afraid of all the Ballas shooting me, because the windows are almost impregnable. Pic taken from mission "Caught Napping".
This vehicle has VERY STRONG ballistic & crash resistance against small-caliber firearms, though it's nothing but a normal car against explosives. Minigun and vehicular turrets like the Technical's DSHK as well as Insurgent Pick-Up's .50 M2 Borowning can also disable it quickly. With this car and a drive-by weapon, you could pass many of the game's contact missions as well as some heist setups and even doomsday setups. The point is, it's windows prevent lots of bullets coming through, and they are indestructible. The car's trade price is approximately 640K if not discounted, and after the heist, it's discounted price is about 520K. However, do not PVP unless your opponent is defenseless as there are ways to counter this car.
"How to get that much money?" You may ask. Honestly, it's a very hard process and takes a lot of time. Here are the ideas you can try:
  • Do Fleeca Job over and over again
  • Do a LOT of contact missions and VIP Work
  • Ask a High-Ranking friend to carry you in missions or borrow their strong vehicles
  • Take a look at GTA Bonuses on the social club website, particularly, the ones involving money giveaways or discounts, just as I mentioned before. They can bring you a huge step closer to your dreams.
Anyway, once you buy the Armored Kuruma, things will be very easy.
Proper Equipment
Got the car? Here are some other things you need
  • AP Pistol Rank 43 - Can easily penetrate any Bullet Resistant Glass except Kuruma's metal window plating, also has high rate of fire and good damage makes it a suitable drive-by firearm
  • Special Carbine or Bullpup Rifle, both have no rank requirement - the former has good damage, the latter has high fire rate.
  • Assault Shotgun Rank 37 - A full-automatic shotgun, better with extended clip. Best shotgun ever and is a good multi-purpose weapon. You will always need the extended clip upgrade for it to be practical.
  • MG Rank 50 - A perfect choice for helicopter's side bay gunners. It's maybe a PKP.
  • Combat MG Rank 80 - M249, with a lot of stopping power to boot.
  • Heavy Utility Vest - Decreases your movement speed but strengthens protection, only applicable in heists and only if the leader has chosen "Player saved outfits" as clothing option. Heists that enforce outfits won't make it useful however.
  • Grenade Launcher Rank 60 - It's much better than grenade isn't it? Explodes on impact and is much more controllable.
  • Advanced Rifle Rank 70 - A combination of Bullpup Rifle and Special Carbine, that has high ROF and high DPS. You might not use it later on, but BUY it.
  • Armored Kuruma - This one, obviously. The best choice for a starter car, and even after you advanced very far into the game, it remains valuable.
  • Thrown weapons - As if you see fit.
  • Buzzard Attack Chopper - For Organization guys, it can be summoned for 25K if not owned and for free if owned. Quick option for traveling, and it's worth that 1.75M with it's multi-purpose capabilities. Crappy when it comes to PVP but otherwise is VERY helpful.
  • Cargobob - Not a good general vehicle, though it'd be a helper in vehicle cargo. But if you are a bad pilot, then just give up the air vehicles. Costs around 1.75M, and Jetsam Varriant costs around 2M, but they are mostly the same for those who want functionality, it's just Jetsam looks better.
  • Insurgent Pick-Up - A Pegasus Vehicle that can be used as a co-op subsitue and is famous for being a griefer's vehicle as well as one of the most powerful Kuruma counters. This is useful if you have many players, and then it serves as a good escort vehicle. This vehicle costs 1.35M after completing Humane Labs Raid as Leader, and 1.75M otherwise. Pegasus vehicles can't be used during heist missions, but there's an even more powerful variant that is a personnel vehicle, and keeps what it has from the regular version.
  • Insurgent Pick-Up Custom - A Personnel Vehicle. 250K conversion from owned Insurgent Pick-Up at Vehicle Workshop in MOC/Avenger (Details Later).
Big Time
After You got everything you need, you are gonna start a business - That's how the money comes in faster.
I highly recommend purchasing an office, because with that gotten ahold, you gain the chance to purchase one of the most profitable ventures ever-The Vehicle Warehouse.
Buying an office isn't cheap, as even the cheapest one costs you 1M, so it should come AFTER Kuruma. You don't need to ask where to buy it, because it's on Dynasty 8 Executive (NOT the one you purchase houses and grarges with).
Although the office costs you 1M, you should also save up 250K, you will know why later.
It takes a lot of hard work to get the office, but do get it, because of the following advantages:
  • You can only be VIP for 4 hours, then there's a 12-H CD after time is up/you quit. But as CEO, you can register and resign AT WILL.
  • You keep your office if you resign, and you can also register as CEO if you sit on your chair in the office and access the desktop computer connected to Securoserv.
  • As CEO, you can pay 5K to send a luxury helicopter to your location. (Supervolito) It then works as a Merryweather Heli Pickup, taking much less time to land, but you have the option to teleport to office/warehouse/vehicle warehouse. This is also avaliable as a part of your Assistant's Phone services. Do note that, however, it can only teleport you inside purchased Warehouse/Vehicle Warehouse/Office and cannot teleport you when on a freemode job like stealing supplies or buying special cargo etc.
Once you have the office and made another ~250K with your hard work, you can get started doing special cargo shipments. The cheepest small warehouse costs exactly 250K, and I highly recommend you to also gain at least a few more thouand or even 50K.
Reason? Because you need to buy the cargo.
I will not talk about buy scenarios or sell scenarios, but I will give some general tips on it.
  • Your assistant can bring your personnel vehicle to you at the office WITHOUT Mechanic delivery cooldown, pick the Kuruma, because in general, this vehicle stands most scenarios and the vehicles that outclass it......are not for starters due to price issues.
  • Obviously, solo-public sessions are absoulutely nessecary. I've sees cargo griefers and I helped beating an idiotic Kuruma griefer with a sticky bomb.
  • Buying 1 costs 2K, 2 for 8K, and 3 for 1.8K Only buy more if you have more hired assosiates. You don't pay them though.
  • If distance is a problem, stealing a helicopter helps and if it's armed, it's even better. Always try to not waste money on stealing cargo, because your profit will not cover up a lot if that happens. If the desired one doesn't spawn, then just drive away for some distance and drive back for it to respawn.
  • Buy missions are always initiated in the office, so that you need to leave the office in order to reccive details. Though only the CEO is required to remain inside the office to start, so assosiates outside can reccive details early and carry on the mission faster.
  • There's a cooldown of 5 minutes before you are able to purchase a crate again. This is NOT shared between different warehouses.
  • I heard about warehouse raids, but I have never encountered any. Large warehouse......yeah, but I only run small ones so, do the same.
  • Don't sell every crate you have until the warehouse if full, I'm telling you to buy small ones anyways. It causes every crate you store to worth more per crate so the profit grows exponentially in a way.
  • Selling more than 10 will require 2 people. The game will tell you this and you can cancel the sale before you regret.
  • ALWAYS
[/b][i/]
[/list]
Anyway, you need to get the money for the second warehouse if possible, which costs at least 318K, and you'd made it up with at least two full-scale sales. Since buy CD is not shared, you can just cycle between the two warehouses. Soon enough, you will have enough cargo to sell. According to my own sales with friends, a full small warehouse sells about 240K, so if you do the sales like this and backed up by the abundance of time, you can quickly get the vehicle warehouse, and that's what I'm gonna talk about in the next section.
Vehicle Cargo
I know due to economic reasons, you guys will always chose the La Mesa one.
News Flash, Amigo. That's the worst choice for long-term profit considering it's in gang territory, thus more enemies will shoot at your vehicle.
I brought the LSIA Vehicle Warehouse. There are two LSIA Warehouses, but in my opinion, buy the one that's close to Los Santos Customs. It's closer to the office and has a big empty parking lot right at the door of the warehouse, so if you can use a Cargobob for any reason......USE IT!

I never brought a cargobob, and I stole this one from a helipad.

Obviously, run in solo-pub sessions, otherwise you lose everything. I really hate griefers, but there's no way to dodge hacks cheats mods griefs so you know what u r gonna do.
For source missions, I'd recommend a few things.
  • Buy a fast bike. Some scenarios would involve some speedy races and you better off use it. I'm a bad driver, though if you have friends that are good at this, they should go for it. If you need a race, everyone needs to arrive at start, though only one needs to win. If the chase involves the cops, however, then you need Kuruma. Check for cop's choppers.
  • For the heist crew one that need you to steal a cargobob and hook up a car whist being attacked by the crew and their buzzards, just nuke the car if you kept failing. Saves time. If you insist, take another heli and let a friend snipe the enemies, otherwise just use a boat.
  • Try not to attract police attention. Lester would be helpful if that happens. Though you may consider using it only AFTER entering the vehicle.
  • If you know that pursuers will come after you, a friendly buzzard could minimise damage, solo guys should just leave the car and fight on foot.
  • Don't sell cars unless it's high-end. You pay the same repair costs as well as modification costs, yet the profit would be different.
  • If you can stealth, then proceed. Although on some scenarios it would be hard for this option for solo.
  • If you are importing a vehicle when you do the solo-pub trick, the vehicle catches on fire and blows up. But don't worry, you can source another (Still incurs the 150 second delay).
  • If you suspect a car bomb scenario, then cargobob it to the airport and speed running there would keep it from exploding. Car bomb scenarios NEVER have guards.

I got lucky on this one since the highway was pretty empty. If this was somewhere in Rockford Hills......Cargobob please

  • If you sell with friends, try to sell a collection. You gain more profit, though they don't unless it's a collection. You can check what missing cars you need at the warehouse. If you are missing a particular version of a model, just sell that one and keep sourcing.
  • Here's a method to prevent damage or just minimises it as much as possible when on sales. Put up the intereaction menu, highlight option "Kill yourself", then when you spot the blue Sultan RS coming in pairs (or you see big red dots on radar), commit suicide and then you respawn outside. Kill the enemies and be careful to avoid shooting at your car. Once all waves are down, you are good to go. These are real aimbotters. Cargobob would be a better idea if you can afford it, unless you are a bad pilot.
  • Drive carefully when exporting. I don't care if you are a racer or not. Although you are on a timer of 15 minutes once you appear outside, you can usually make it before the time runs out no matter how you drive. This still applies even if you use my damage-prevention tactic. I took at most 5 mins usually and 10 minutes is usually enough to finish the rest.
  • Remove wanted level is more useful than cops turn blind eye.
  • If possible, avoid combat when in the car. After all, you pay the repair costs even if it's your friends that screwed up with the car.
  • Avoid using heavy firepower or even explosives (such as a Rhino from your friends if they have one), unless you are pretty sure that it won't damage the car. As stated before, friendly fire only prevents your friends from killing you, and not the vehicle itself from being damaged or destroyed. For example, if you sit inside a vehicle, and disable friendly fire, a friend can blow up the car, and you will not be killed but instead will exit the destroyed vehicle without damage.
  • Never store over 32 cars. You can count it on the laptop inside the warehouse. If you are confused, Provo's guide is MUCH more detailed.
  • Although you NEVER pay for anything up-front when exporting a collection, your net profit would be as with exporting with up-front costs. Exporting a collection would award everyone in the organization a pre-defined bonus. Still, I would recommend End of Empires Collection (2 cars) or Uninsurable Collection (3 cars). Provo said selling top end cars only, then I won't disagree with him. Although he also said that sometimes, 4-car collections may be worth it, as long as it contains as much high-end cars as possible. Great for more guys working together. Remember that of all the collections I know, no 4 car collection has all vehicles as top end ones.
  • For solo-pub, you can just take on the pursuers when sourcing. It saves repair costs.
  • For people asking how many NPC waves, here's a fact: When selling to a private buyer or a collection, 2 waves. When selling to a showroom, 3 waves. When selling to a specialist dealer, 4 waves. Each wave consists of 2x Sultan RS, each with 2 enemies inside. A single body shot of the AWM (Sniper Rifle) cannot kill them though Heavy Sniper (Barret) can. These pursuers would NOT spawn if your session contains a player NOT in your organization so tell those other people to remain in peace. No other factor determines how much enemies come after you. They are surprisingly accurate, therefore able to kill careless players quickly and damage vehicles with terrifying ease. Note that while the first wave spawns only if at least one vehicle cargo left the warehouse for some distance, the remaining ones will not adhere to this requirement, and therefore a player in other vehicles can easily trigger and elliminate the waves.
  • Sale CD: number of vehicles you intend to export X 10 + 10 Minutes. Starts counting right after the sale ends. (No remaining cars)
  • Source CD: 2:30 minutes, or 150 seconds. Starts counting right after steal ends. (Delivered or destroyed)

Here is an example of the Blue Sultans. Note that I already lured out the first wave and the second wave is oncoming. Also, committing suicide may cause props near where your vehicle's location to respawn and clip through the car, causing unavoidable damage if you retrieve the car in anyway, look at the Tyrus, and you'll see.
How to make even more?
Here's the problem: There are many options for assets, so yeah, it depends on your playstyle. Alternating between existing bussiness ventures would kill time quickly (Like the CD of Vehicle Cargo). PRO TIP: YOU WILL NO LONGER NEED CEO SPECIAL CARGO AND VEHICLE CARGO LATER ON.
Anyway, once you have the money that worths around maybe 1-2M via vehicle cargo bla bla bla, I recommend the following picks: (Well, it's all up to you, but just DO NOT spend money on things that doesn't generates money):
Things in the proper equipment section, if you need any.
Bunker - Gives you something to do, and it passively generates stock (even when you are doing something else) so you can sell. Research for cool items if you think you don't need profit. Bunker doesn't generate MUCH profit and too much cargo may be a problem unless you have enough hands as an MC. Also, the passive style of the bunker allows you to go do other things like vehicle cargo, which may simply bag a lot of profit, though you need to pay a few thousand for the bunker every 48 minutes as long as it's working. Remember that you can always make money Later on to get more Bunker Stuff so try making some money before you move on research.

Hangar - Same, but it's more like special cargo. Good for skilled pilots, but doesn't generate income passively. Tests a lot of team effort too. Evidently, the income is significantly less than whatever assets you have, except you can unlock trade price for certain aircraft. It also gives you space to store any aircraft released during and after Smuggler's Run Update.

Facility - High-risk, high reward combat missions, good for guys who often have to work with friends and are high-ranked. But do note that you need people who play LOTS of FPS (CSGO R6S etc)and ensure they are well-equipped and skilled, mainly due to the fact that the enemies are powerful and you are gonna spend ammo and dodging skills as well as combat strategies. Also this asset can only generate money via the heist missions, and freemode preps are gonna freak you out without proper help (unless you buy them which costs a lot). This is only recommended for CEOs, because they can provide friends health regeneration up to FULL. I personally recommend not to buy one if you got a friend who owns a facility and can carry you in the missions.

Nightclub is only recommended for MCs, and therefore I will NOT mention it here. However it grants you passive money regeneration even when you are doing nothing and you will never have to buy supplies

And if your assets were raided: Here is a way to prevent Raids: Simply quit your CEO/MC and this will block raid notifications. Vehicle Warehouses can't be raided.
Advanced Equipment
Here are quite a few things that you will DEFINITELY need later on.

Mobile Operations Center - Usually referred to as the MOC, this is a truck and a trailer. Requires Bunker to purchase. It has high health but can't be used outside of freemode (Except during the Cover Blown Mobile Operation). You will need a Bunker to buy this and it costs at LEAST 1.25 Mil, not including the vehicle and weapon workshop, which is required to modify a selection of cool weaponized vehicles and research upgrades from the Bunker, and that costs around another mil. The command center is recommended only if you want the turrets, however this vehicle is not suited for griefing. It can also start mobile operations, which is required to unlock trade prices on certain vehicles of gunrunning update if completed as mission host.

Avenger - Aerial Equivalent of the MOC. Has almost everything that MOC can offer, however it can't start Mobile Operations, is more suited for griefing, and requires a Facility, which means, you gotta do DH or it isn't worth it. Costs around 3.4 mil. Turret costs 200K and more if you add them in facility. It's mainly useless and also can't be used in missions (Except two DH missions that it has made appearance in). Overall it should be at the end of your shopping list.

Terrorbye - Requires Nightclub. It is only useful for MCs and/or those who want Oppressor MK2. By default has no weapons, and can be mounted with a missile battery (Sucks, don't buy). Only thing you will ever need is the MK2 workshop. It can start CEO Warehouse and MC/Bunker/Hangar source missions without you having to go to the respective building. Client Jobs are also an easy way to make money in a pinch. Otherwise, you should not buy it.

The above three vehicles, when destroyed, are returned to their respective storage locations and can be used again. They are requested from the services menu, thus unusable in missions.

Pounder Custom is only recommended if you own Nightclub. NEVER ASK QUESTIONS.

Minigun - A sure need for Late-Game players. This is mainly useful if you do DH3 Finale a lot. It packs a huge amount of DPS, but it's a heavy weapon, so use it wisely. Unlocks at rank 120 and costs 50K. The Widowmaker is a Laser Variant of the Minigun that has less accuracy, 12 times the price, and no rank requirement.

Up N Atomizer - Useful for knocking vehicles over if they got stuck. No rank requirement but costs like 400K. It has infinite ammo but must recharge for two seconds for each shot fired.

Special Carbine MK2 - Useful due to the accuracy.
Treasure Hunt and Bounty Target
Treasure Hunt
You need to find the Double Action Revolver.
vanderlinde@eyefind or something like that will send you an email, make sure to read it. Then, a yellow zone will be highlighted on the map. You need to go to the area and find a note, on a piece of white paper, pinned to a structure.
Beware that if you join another session, the location is randomized, wasting your efforts. In order to prevent the F@cking randomizing, find the revolver, so you will not lose progress
If you get closer to the note's location, a bell ringing sound will continue to play, getting louder as you get close. You need to be on foot, standing, and not using a weapon so the sound can play. Even with this help, it would still be slow and tedious. But once you find it, the rest is no longer a challange. Note that the area is still very vague so use the photo provided or just take another shot with your real-life phone and compare the location with THAT. People who know the geography of the game's terrain would quickly find out.
In case if anyone wanna read the note for any reason, here's what it is, literally:
Tresure tore our family apart
It ain't here no more
I moved it
You F@CKERS will never find it
(Jack Martson or someone made this I think)
Now for the 3 other clues, their location is marked directly on the map, but it's still a little vague, so in detail, I'll tell you which is which. Also, you may need to use a helicopter for this one due to distance. Of course you can use other means, but stealing a helicopter is the fastest way for starters from rank 7. (NOT a Cargobob of course) Alternatively, one may call for a friend's help.
The one in Sandy Shores is a bloody spade, in the ruins of a house that had only a metal skeleton left. (Here's a joke: I went finding it in Christmas and since in ghe game it's snowing, the spade is covered with snow and I can't see the blood lmao which took me another 5 minutes to realize)
The one near Grapeseed (or something like that) is under a standing no leaf tree near a ditch, and there's an empty box (obviously for the weapon).
The one in the mountains is in a small cave, and it's a body with a severely mutilated head. (Don't look at this)
You may need a helicopter for the clues, due to the distance. If you need, ask a friend. They sure would like to help. May consider asking me if I HAVE time. (Holidays? or something?)
After all three clues are examined, the chest's exact location appears on the map. Find it, open it, boom, there's a good pistol. At this point, you can quit the game if you need to since progress is saved.
For the headshot challange, just host a mission (that has no time limit and does not incur wanted level), make sure only you are doing it, then stay on the streets and shoot the civilian drivers in the head. After 50 cumulative headshots (game tells you for each 10), you win the challange and here's your 250K.

Bounty Target
Much more tedious one. It still requires a number of kills but is cut by half when compared to the Double Action Revolver.
You may also consider a helicopter for this one. Also load your Pistol with enough ammunition. Just simply use the pistol provided at the beginning of the game. Low damage is helpful, or use a nightstick that can be purchased for 600$ in ammu-nation.
Maude would send you a text and you need to open the text directly on phone in order to trigger a message of the game telling you Maude would be in touch.
The targets are specified via email from Maude. You will get the target's specified location after reading one. Only one email can appear at a time. To find the target, wander around the area with a car or bike until you are alerted to the presence of target. Shoot the target in the leg with pistol. Once. And after that they will surrunder. Take them to Maude's trailer and u reccive 10K in cash so remember to BANK the cash.
Repeat the steps until Maude tells you to go to the stash spot. Go for it and open the chest and BOOM! You got the hatchet!
Now you need to achieve 25 kills, in TOTAL. The hatchet has a rampage ability: Like Trevor's special, once you kill an enemy, you will become virtually invincible (unless cheats hacks), and it lasts a few seconds, but can be longer if you kill someone (extends a second or so). If it expires there's 1-min CD before another rampage can begin. It's best to attract police attention without using hatchet, kill a cop with gun, then when reinforcements arrive, kill them all with hatchet. Once you complete the kills, you win 250,000. Also, like Double-Action Revolver, doing it on missions is a viable option, but rampage ability is unusable and since it's a melee weapon, it may become less viable.
  • NOTE: The final rewards from both missions won't add a ot of RP, but the money goes directly your bank.
End of this guide
This guide is for people who simply wants a steady source of money. Since it's a "Starter" guide, the advanced content such as bunkers or facilities bla bla bla would be ignored.
Thank you if you read my guide and it benifited your gaming. I hope it helps. Remember to add to favourites as well as support it!
I'd be happy to help out in the steam community. This is simply my first guide.
There may be updates of the guide, but they won't be big.
Maybe I would write a doomsday one in the future, or a gunrunning one.
I do not record statistics, so, don't expect too much.
At least this is not GTA wiki.
You could also leave a comment, I don't mind as long as it's not offensive, intimidating or whatever is bad. Also visitors can suggest improvements, which may be taken into account if I do see it somehow. Also do not leave comments getting people to play with you - Any of that will be deleted, since you could have just ask the vast steam community.
Special Thanks to
  • Several of my friends who play with me. Without them, this guide would look like a piece of flotsam.
  • People like Provo/X-Wing and many others in the community - There's too much them and we need more people like them. X-Wing inspired me to make this one and Provo has a load of tactical information.
  • Anyone that bothered to see and was positively affected by this guide - GTA Wiki's idiots are preventing me from helping the community, but with these people, they'd see it, they'd spread it, they'd let more of the community benifit!

Aha, you need to go to the tab "Online", then go to "Players", choose the suspected player, and when you find their name, just push enter and see if there's a list of options. Normally one of them'd be the report button

where do you report people
SUPER-TANK  [author] 29 Dec, 2018 @ 5:23pm
Yup, but I don't consider buying CESP, because, it's just, not worth it to me. Mainly because it doesn't provide you with the acutal useful items. But if you are super rich, go ahead and buy a shark card.

It's actually 5-8 secs you need to do the task manager exploit for, not 10 secs, just a little bit of friendly advice, cos 11 secs kicks you out. :happymeat::UnionJackFlag:

Did you attempt to use steam or the game’s internal join friends feature? Alternatively try to join a particular friend by selecting “friends” tab and choosing the particular friend. This is a random game bug, I encountered this a few times, but never use steam’s join game feature. Keep an eye on your internet too, this bug does not have any fix that I know of, but since it’s random, yeah, it may take several tries.
