sorry for the misunderstanding
the addon i wanted to link is in this guide
first, use vignette post processing effect found in the robotboy665 addon "more post processing effects" for abandoned feel
secondly, use tf2 foliage props so there aren't any clashing artstyles, like the tree next to the stack of briefcases. i'd say you should search for tf2 style props, or just use portal 2 props, as they're within the same style as l4d and half life / black mesa props
make sure props aren't clipping
you could use some green light as if some plants are growing in front of lights
use softer lights for smaller objects
