The offerings and perks

(i'll link a more recent image soon)

Don't worry, farming all together is not bannable at all.
Farming is bannable when someone does not want to farm and is "forced" to by other survivors (bringing the killer to him, sandbagging, slugging him and not healing, etc, unhooking until he is dead). When everyone escapes... it's all good.

Let's get right into it with the 2 offerings and 2 perks affecting the final score.
- BPS = Bloody Party Streamer.
This green offering rewards you with 100 % bonus Bloodpoints in all Categories for all Players. it applies to all the players no matter who burned it (killer and survivors). And best part, it stacks!!! That means you can have 5 BPS per game. That would be: "your score" X 5

- Cake (for survivors) or Pudding (for killers): same as BPS except that it only applies to the one who burned it. That means (if you are the one using it): "your score" X 2

- WGLF = We're gonna live forever (perk from David for survivor's). When "protecting" an injured survivor, you gain a stack. Each stack gives you 25% of your total BP's. you can get 4 stacks max. So it means with 4 stacks taht you double your BP's

- BBQ = Barbecue & Chilli (perk from Leatherface for killers). Each time a Survivor is hooked for the first time, you gain a stack (25% of your total BP's). You can get 4 stacks max. So it means with 4 stacks taht you double your BP's

So if you use the right perk, play correctly and are lucky (each player burns a BPS), you can have your score multiplicated by 6! (or by 7 if there is a double BP's event).

There are some perks that may help you when farming:
- Survivor perks:
Self Heal
WGLF
We'll Make It
Leader

- Killer perks:
BBQ
Distressing (Gain 100 % more Bloodpoints for actions in the Deviousness category)
Thrill of the Hunt (Gain 10 % more Bloodpoints for actions in the Hunter category for each totem still up)
Overcharge (for gen regression)

Now let's see how to play.
Farming (with the killer) or just playing the game?
Now that you are fully equiped, the question is: will the other side be friendly?
Probably not! Killers are scumb*gs and survivors are c*nts lol

First thing: you can remane yourself on steam with an explicit name like "Farming Survivor/Killer" or you can try to befriend on steam the killer (after the cinematic) / survivor (in the lobby) and ask him.

Most people will play as usual. But when stacking BPS (or during events), i like to think people are more keen on being nice because in a normal game, one side almost always loses. Or worse, both sides can end with very few points like in this one:

There are two possibilities:
  • the killer shows he will be friendly (beware of fake friendly killers).
  • the survivors show they will be there for farming by allowing easy hooks.
Each side likes better when the "enemy" is nice first. Sometimes, they just do not understand or do not want to farm. Be sure to look at the killer and what he's doing.

As a killer,
Try to look (more) powerless. i try to find the first survivor, show him that i see him but want no harn (except 2 hooks!). Maybe use your power in a ridiculous way like chainsawing an object, throwing a hatchet at your feet, etc. If he does not understand, i down him and show him i'm there to farm by hitting a gen, then hook him. Then i will go to the nearest pallet and stay there. So 2 survivors already know i'm friendly. It's all it takes in 95% of cases. Use your mouse to nod at thme too.
As a killer, i advise you to get your hooks from the start otherwise, they might escape befoire you max your "sacrifice".

As a survivor,
it's more risky.First thing, you need to let others player know that you'll be burning a bps, ask them if they want to stack, and explain you'll be baiting the killer (you can even try to add the killer as a friend when the game starts / or add a survivor while in the lobby if you're the killer).

At the beginning, i call the killer by vaulting near a hook and point him to the hook but run to the nearest pallet. If he takes the stun: bingo! if he avoids it, i go under the hook (i offer him a free hook), crouch, and nod at him. He knows now that i'm friendly, it's up to him to be nice or not and show it.
Max yourself as survivor
There are 4 categories caped at 8000 for each one (32000 for a perfect game):
8000 Survival points from self healing and you get 5000 when you exit
8000 in Altuism from helping other survivors
8000 in Objectives from doing gens and chests
8000 in Boldness from being near the killer
You can see the details for each action in the wiki. click here[deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com]

The important thing to know is that the scores show a circle on the left of your screen (it fills with red when you complete actions). Here is a screen of the "circle" i'm talking about.

The full circle is 5000points in that category. And it says max when you reach 8000. Between 5000 and 800 you get a full circle, so keep doing things in the category until you see "max". The only one you don't need to fill is Survival because as you get 5000 when exiting, you only need 3000 ingame (a litle mote than half circle).
Doing thins in coop always grant you more points for it.

My advice on farming quickly (when you know the game will be farming):
- Start by getting yourselves hooked 2 times each (and unhook 2 people) so the killer will be sure you will be friendly.
- Don't bother with totems, start by doing gens (with another survivor if you can) or opening chests. And don't finish the gens!!! Leave them at 90% so each survivor can max himself on objectives.
- When you're maxed on objectives, start maxing boldness and altruism by being hit by the killer and healing others.
- Now you can destroy totems and slam pallets on the killers head :)
- For survival points, you need to heal yourselves, or ask the killer to make you wiggle out of his grasp (4 times should be enough). Show a locker to the killer and go in it. It will make 600 points in chase for the killer, and you'll get 500 of survival after wiggling.
Max yourself as Killer
There are 4 categories caped at 8000 for each one (32000 for a perfect game):
8000 points in Brutality hitting survivors
8000 in Deviousness for using your special power
8000 in Hunting for finding survivors and chases
8000 in Sacrifice for hooking survivors
You can see the details for each action in the wiki. click here[deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com]

The important thing to know is that the scores show a circle (it fills with red when you complete actions). The full circle is 5000points in that category. And it says max when you reach 8000. So keep doing things in the category you are not maxed in yet. The only one you won't need to fill is Sacrifice because as you will not kill survivors, you will end with 29600points max.

My advice to gets points quicker:
- Try to get your hooks at the beginning of the game to make sure no one escapes without being hooked 2 times. Keep track of who whas hooked to avoid killing someone by mistake. Sacrifice category is "full" when you hook them 2 times each.
Use your power as much as possible to max Deviousness (you'll get brutality points too at the same time when you hit).
- To get easy Hunting points, just break the chase and start it again (200points each time you start a chase). Or better, grab survivors in lockers (you'll get Hunting points and if you make them wiggle, they get Survival points).
- Hit survivors each time you see them healthy (they'll get to heal and you'll get brutality).

it's pretty easy to get 29.6k as a killer. Just hook, hit, chase!

I hope it will help some people because during events there are a lot of misunderstandings (people that want to farm vs people that don't want).
it's not just about farming like robots, it can help you choose the riight perks when you just want to get the most points out of a game (and play it like always).
plus interactions between killer/survivor are kinda funny sometimes when you are wondering if he is noce or not ^^

Because you are just playing the game...
They don't give a sh*t about real cheaters... so they won't waste time with this. Plus i remember them talking about that in their streams and on one of their pinned topics regarding bans: farming is only "bannable" if you are doing it by teaming with the other side and doing it while the one that is farmed don't want to.And even in this case, it would be a temp ban... if you manage to prove it. And once again, reports are totally broken.

How are you so sure that you don't get banned for farming? Not against it or anything, just curious.

Takes too much time for 2.4k points...
But trapper is very good for farming ^^ both sides can max quickly.

Survivors get points in survival for wiggling out. The best action is have survivors struggle out lots of times (or farm bear traps if it's a trapper) to get 8K, then let Killer sacrifice for full points, which allows everyone to get 32K points base.
