Fill your pot to about 5 inches deep, we want to make sure that the eggs are fully covered in water.

Bring your stovetop to a high heat.

Have your eggs ready off to the side.

Get out a small bowl, and an ice tray.

Keep an eye on your pot, you'll want to look for bubbling. Once your water is bubling in the slightest, place your eggs in the pot.

At this point you should start getting your ice bath ready, this will be used to stop the eggs from overcooking when we are done with the pot. Gather your small bowl and ice tray, fill your bowl with water and place 3-4 ice cubes in the water.

Once the water is at a rolling boil, you want to take the pot off of the heat, and place a lid on top it.

At this point it is entirely up to you how you want to cook the eggs!
