Level 4 Walkthrough
By Spyro_Dragonite and 1 collaborators
In this, I will show you how to finish level 4, the round level. With all cogs turned the right way.

Disclaimer: As I have not watched any of the youtube walkthroughs, I'm not at all sure the cogs always end up the same way. Also, I did only play this game once (got all the achivements on accident too) and I am showing this on my second run.

First Door (the actual Finish line)
First off, notice that in this level, you can freely rotate all around this level, and do not need to take steps to unlock all of the sides. mostly because there is only one real side... its a circle. So while we have full access, we will need to pick a starting point.

First door i will start with is outlined with yellow paint.
Going inside, we will see a locked door, and above, 5 of what look to be Light indicators.

We need to turn on all of these lights, but there is no way to do that from this room, so for now, we will simply return to the outside area, and explore the nearby doors keeping in mind where this one is with reguards to the other doors.
Second door (this one is very easy)

This door is a little to the left of the first one we went too.

Going inside, you will notice your first tape. While you dont need it, or the gem inside of it at this point yet, you can still go ahead and grab it if you like. the gem is fairly apparent after a few seconds, just look to the left for a bit as you go down the path.

Now after the tape, there is only one door, and only one after that one. Going down the only path you will end up in a room with some cogs, and what looks like a button in water.

(Default Settings)

Notice what is next to the door is a tip to this solution.

Now, when turning the cogs, the middle one will cause the right most one to turn as well. all you need to do is turn the middle one 1/2 Clockwise, which will cause the right most one to do the same. Now turn the right most one 1/2 Clockwise as well to look like so.

(Puzzle fin)

The water will empty out, and you can now push the button. Make sure to push it only once so a light is seen glowing on the button.

If we were to go back to the very first door and look at the indicators, we would see that the Middle one is now lit.

(shown here, but you dont rly need to go back and check, it doesn't do anything except waste time)

You are now done with this section, lets move on the the next one, which is more to the left of the door we just went into.
Third Door (This is more annoying then difficult rly)
This door, not far from what will be our fourth door, leads to a easy, but annoying cog puzzles.
(the hint didnt rly help me here, i had to do this by elemination)

Going in, there is only one path to take, as you go you will encounter a waterfall blocking your path and a 4 cog puzzle.

(Default settings)

Before starting, notice these cogs dont do anything like the ones in our first puzzle, as these all turn independently of each other.

Turn the upper left 1/2 Clockwise, the upper right 1/4 Clockwise.
Turn the lower left 1/4 Clockwise, and the lower right 3/4 Clockwise till all cogs look like this.

(Puzzle fin)

The waterfall will stop, and you can continue your path.

Now, you can either (if you have not done so already) go into the tape and get the gem, or, you can go into the vent above the door, and get your 4th lens. Or you can forget about the lens and just put the gem in the lock here, thats all up to you, but the vent is here.

(The Vent in question)

(Lens in question)

Once through the gem door, there is one more button, just push and leave its light on, and then back out of this path till you reach the hub, and move on to the 4th door.

(Button No.2)
The Fourth Door (cant finish this one yet)
You cant finish this one at this point in the game yet, as you will need a gem (and seeing as how we just used our only gem on the last door, we kinda need to find another one). BUT we can still go in and finish a puzzle or two, and grab the "ICE" Tape.

(Da Door. totes not a bears pun at all....)

Going inside, you will spot the second tape, "ICE", along the left side. Grab it, and then leave the tape, as I didn't find a gem in this untwisted version. Then continue down the path till you reach the puzzle room we are here to unlock.

(Ice)

(Default settings)

Now, this is a two part lock, and like the last one, the cogs turn independent from one another. but you will also notice there is no apparent clue as to how to solve it. BUT the first puzzle of these two is very easy, and is the actual clue to the second one... well... kinda.

For the first one, just like the two markers up together, and the second one will be workable.

(Default settings for Second puzzle, and a completed First puzzle)

Now for the second puzzle you need to turn the upper most (of the 3 cogs) 1/2 Clockwise.
The bottom left also need 1/2 Clockwise, and the bottom right needs a 3/4 turn Clockwise. So they end up as such.

(Puzzle fin)

Now, at this point we should return to the outside, as we cannot open the gem door yet, but hey, now we dont have to worry about this puzzle, right? Right.
The Fifth Door (WOW super easy)
Now on to the fifth door. Here, once again, is only one path, but along this path you will find another tape. "Mountain", which has a gem.

(right next to what will be door six)

(hey, look, a tape :D)

( :O the gem is so easy to spot, just look for the flag)

Now, at this point you COULD go back and finish the fourth door... but this door is so easy to finish at this point, you should just continue here untill you reach the button.

I know, right? no puzzles? no obstacles? no messy bull..? sweeeeeeet. (ya... but you will find door four has more puzzles so that makes up for this easy one), If only this whole level was this easy right? (Nah, that would be boring, and then I would not feel the need to make this guide, plus door 4 still isn't finished.)

(Button PUSH!!!!)

Ok, now lets go back to door number 4.
Door number 4 (again. now lets finish it this time ehh?)
Since we did the first puzzle down this path, we can just skip right to the gem door and move on to the... wait... theres a magnetic strip here.... O.O Lets rig these tapes.

(dont forget, its beyond the fourth door. pun totaly intended this time.)

After using it, lets check out these now twisted tapes, starting with... Mountain? nope, no gems. how about... Tundra!!! nerp... ok lets go with ICE now. jackpot, right off the bat too. (if you didnt see the gem right at the beginning... your blind mate.)

ok, so gem has been got, lets move on. oh.. goodie... another puzzle... -_- well there was a reason I made this guide afterall.

(Default Settings)

Welp, lets get this show on the road. First this to note, this looks like a 3 part puzzle. (its not, its sorta 4 part)

So, part one, right.. lets see. First cog on the left, turn it 3/4 Clockwise around, and the right most 1/2 Clockwise, this will unlock the second part of the puzzle.

(Default Stage 2)

Okay, so we unlocked one more cog. and this one turns... 3/4 Clockwise. oh... its locked now, drowned in its own sorrow... so back to part one.

(Stage 3)

ok, so upper left turns (from its current orientation) 3/4 Clockwise, and right turns 1/4 Clockwise.
this unlocks the 3rd and 4th cogs. (note, turning the 3rd one now fills/empties the 4th cogs chamber).

Now, the 4th one needs to turn in any direction from its current setting, allowing the nearby chamber to fill up and a platform to float. Going further in, and BUTTON FOUND!!!! Now push it and gtfo, my friend.

(sweet, how many buttons are we in now? like... 4? only one more to go!!!)

and on to the 6th door.
Door 666 (woops, keyboard slipped)
Ok, so on to number 6, hey, were almost done, so its not all bad.

("here we go" -Mario)

Okay, so... wait... a gem door already? well, at least we got the gem so no hard work here yet.

after that... O.O Another magnetic strip. TWIST TOES TAPES!!!

(gata love mag)

Okay, so lets check out these tapes again, starting with mountain... weird, but no gem. So now we go to tundra... gem. Sweet. It's a bit in there, but you can see it from the green glow. Let's check ice to to be sure, (plus, if your going for it, and achev), oh wow, theres a gem here too... do we need 2 more? idk, lets cross that bridge later. ONWARD!!!

Hmm... another easy puzzle, with the solution right there on the wall. just connect the tags on the cogs.

(Default)

(Puzzle fin)

keep going and...button, jackpot.

(Da Button. Totes not another bears joke...)

Ok, so out we go, and more to the left is... oh... no more doors, ok lets go and find out if we got all five buttons.
Finish and on to next level
Ok, so on to the yellow paint door again, and inside... the lights are on, and the water is going down, sweet.

(lots o lights)

Ok, let's go... wait... thats all? we didnt need these gems? huh.... ok... so.... cool.

(Level Up!!! heh... get it? cause of the stairs... that go up... to the next level? no? bah... forget you guys, that was funny.)
DISCLAIMER (AGAIN)
This is my very first ever guide/walkthrough... ever... so forgive me if it comes across as crass. I will have someone go through and correct my spelling (Yuki), but as this person doesn't play this game, I doubt they will have any new content to add, so nothing will really change all that much. however, if you spot something I either missed (like a few extra gems we didn't need in the end), or left out, or you want more on, just leave a comment and I'll have a look.

Also, I haven't made guides for the other levels yet, but I'm sure (as this is a very easy game after all) you/we/they/me wont need any more guides. I only made this one cause the puzzles were just plain annoying.

But if you all want me to make guides on the other levels, just tell me, and I might (maybe might) get around to it.

Love: Spyro, the awesome sauce dragon(ite).

(This image is by no means mine in anyway/shape/or form. I only use it cause he is my fave little dude EVER!!! and not the skylanders creep...)
