The Problem
Here's a list of stuff I can't do:
-Make this Guide better and appealing to everyone (as this is my first guide and I don't know what I'm doing)
-Make You Listen
-Stop Toxic Players From Popping Up
-Make World Peace

Now what I can do is give a helpful list on what to do... and listen to my own advice.
So please, do not be a toxic player, and see what to do if Toxic Players start to pop up on your server
So What Is a Toxic Player?
Toxic Players are people that make the game unappealing to the average players and makes them think about their life choices and why they played this game. Here's a few examples:

-Angry Kid with a mic
-Tryhard that takes it too far
-That one typing/binding guy in the chat
-The type of player that targets people actually having fun
-Friendly Hunters Yes I know that's not much of a problem, but we gotta leave them be. Otherwise, it's just a waste of ammo
-Etc

These types of players don't know it, but they do the following:
-Discourage new players and making them think about leaving the game
-Making the game sour and unappealing as everyone either cringes or become toxic to fight other toxic players
-Making more toxic players
-Slowly make the Badlands unhabitable

These players aren't fun to play with or against, so here's the fully ajusted list of taking care of your toxic player
Step 1 - Locate the Toxic Player
This is the most important step, as you can't do any of the following unless you find the toxic's source. There are a few problems in this stage so I'm gonna list them:

1. Just because they have a edgy name or wearing lime or pink cosmetics, that doesn't mean they, themselves, are toxic.
2. There's a difference between salty players and toxic players. Salty Players will be angry and bitter for only a moment before brushing it off and just continue playing. Toxic Players continue to be toxic, no matter what.
3. Kids aren't toxic, they're just loud. CoD kids that transferred TO TF2, those are the toxic ones No offense, but it helps to lay off the Mountain Dew kid
4. If they are doing toxic things to the game, they are toxic.
5. Don't forget to know your maps! Payload maps are more likely to have better and more coordinated teams than, say, 2fort. If the ENEMY team isn't coordinated, or YOUR team isn't coordinated, there might be someone that might have a say on it.

Now that you located the location of the toxic player, take a while to learn his toxins and the best way to cure them. Then, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2 - Talking to Toxic Players
Sometimes, a talk might just be enough to help out the man, or woman, or kid, or alien, or intellegent being, or Pootis Bird.
Anyways, try talking to the person about his/her day and how it's going. They might just have a stressful day, and we can understand that... most of the time. Cheer them up, and maybe you might have a friend.
If they aren't having a stressful day and the problem is your team or the enemy team, then talk to that person and say stuff like "It's just a game, why you have to be mad?" or "The game is more enjoyable if you yourself are enjoyable to play with."

If it doesn't work, most likely it won't, move on to Step 3.
Step 3 - Helping Out Your Toxic Player
This one's a pretty simple step, so here's stuff that you can do to help him:
-Guard the objective
-Do the objective
-Support him on the battlefield as a Medic or a Banner Soldier
-If the Toxic player is a Medic, be a power class or a Pyro to repel those Spies
-If the source of toxicity is from the local Engineer, if there is one, be a Pybro or try to be one
-If it's from a power class, try being a Medic to help him out or a Sniper and/or Spy to take out targets that he can't handle
-If it's from a Scout, Sniper, or Spy, skip to Step 4. Trust me, it's just more helpful that way.

Sometimes, Step 3 might not be enough. Perhaps you or your team don't follow up to the criteria of "his" standards? Just go on the Step 4.
Step 4 - Ignoring or Countering the Toxic Player
Sometimes, just plain out ignorance is the best way to go. If Step 2 or 3 fail, this is the step for you.

Muting would help for mic users, and ignoring the chat would help out as well with those typers. Countering toxic players that target you would help out greatfully (like Sentries for targeting scouts, or being faster for targeting snipers) and it may or may not make them go into a frenzy of typing or angry mic yelling. Sometimes, the parents might do the work if the toxicity is coming from a kid with a mic (makes for some great YouTube). Countering might not be the best option, so ignoring them might just make them leave you be or just give up.

And a little note for friendlies, you are gonna die. Do not yell in your mic or furiously type about it, and do not be toxic about it! Just brush the dust off your shorts or pants and continue to walk the friendly path.

However, for some it might be too much to do steps 2-4... and Step 5 is the most risky
Step 5 - The Step I Don't Suggest
Warning: Do not attempt this unless you absolutly can't do Steps 2-4 or fail to do them

Step 5 is where you have to check you, the toxic player, your team and the enemy team. Then, you press the Tab button and click on the toxic player's name, or you press "esc" and have enough with the server.

Step 5a is having enough with the toxic player and straight out kicking him. I do not suggest this to anyone unless everyone on your team is absolutely sure with you to kick him. Step 5a might backfire and YOU might be kicked, or the person that called the vote might be kicked, but it might work and the toxic player MIGHT be kicked. There's only one problem on doing that: You just basically sent a toxic player to another server where he/she would continue to be toxic.

Step 5b is just flat out leaving. I'll suggest this better than Step 5a, but there's a minor problem to that too: You get delayed from another match (but that doesn't matter anyways) and you lose any EXP that you might gain from that match (which doesn't matter too because there's no reward for it).

It's the most risky step that you have to take, but it might also be the most safest one too. You can always count on it if you don't want any toxic players and no matter the situation, you'll won't have to deal with that toxic player again.
Aftermath
So you probably taken care of that toxic player. You probably feel proud that you made the game >1% less toxic. Now, hopefully, the toxic player would be neutralized, or just clean for now, and your game might be cleared of any toxic activity within it. We hope this guide has made you a better person, your friends a better person, and your fellow mercenaries a fellow person. Just remember, you can change a person's day by being there for him/her.

Note: We are not responsible for any problems that might happen after the guide. Please travel around the Badlands with caution and have a nice day battling for either RED or BLU

What kind of person ask a toxic player about his day?
And what if he thinks you're threatening him?
