Introduction
This build does not require DLC

But if you want DLC here's a link

Payday 2 Ultimate Edition on Steam

I was heavily inspired by this video when making this build, but more or less tailored it to my playstyle / a more combat oriented playstyle.

His Youtube Page
Primary
Akimbo Parabellum Pistols

Reinforced Barrel

Concealment Boost

Overall, it hits like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ truck, and "is like a revolver without the downsides"
+ Shreds Dozers like nothing else
++ Great looking gun
+++ Sounds amazing
- Slow reload time
Secondary
Stryke 18c Pistol

IPSC Compensator
Stability/Concealment/Accuracy/Ammo Boost
Micro Laser
Laser or Ergo Grip (depending on whether or not you want accuracy or stability)
Stock

This is where my build deviates from the video, I figured since I am using Crits a high fire rate weapon would do perfectly, and it does.

The mods are to maximize its accuracy so that it's easy to hit targets, even at long ranges.
+ Great stats
++ Works great with crits due to fire rate
+++ Easy to take out medics, tasers, even snipers
++++ Fast reloads
- Might need to watch your ammo
-- Pistol with a stock is an eyesore
--- Frequent reloading
Mastermind

Aced Inspire to help pick up teammates

Aced Combat Medic for the medic bags

Aced Confident and Partners in Crime, along with basic Joker, multiple Jokers help draw fire away and keep your health regen going

Acing Hostage taker is a must for Stoic builds, the constant regeneration plus damage negation will keep you from going down.

Basic Sharpshooter for accuracy boost
Enforcer

This is more or less just a skill point dump

If you want more ammo ace Scavenger

If you want to avoid flashbangs ace Resilience

If you want a damage boost / damage resistance boost ace Underdog
Technician

Aced Steady Grip and Fire Control to greatly improve accuracy and stability

Drill skills can be used for some of the longer heists
Ghost

Basic Duck and Cover to improve your overall speed

Basic Inner Pockets to lower your concealment

Basic Optical Illusions to avoid enemy fire

Aced Low Blow if you wish to use armor with your setup (To have a bit more health), normal Low Blow if going armorless.
Fugitive

Aced Equilibrium for accuracy boost

Basic Gun Nut to expand your magazines (Particularly helpful for the Stryke, did not ace as a higher fire rate would hurt the Stryke and make you waste a lot more ammo)

Aced Desperado for accuracy boost and reload speed boost

Basic One Handed Talent to improve Stryke's DPS

Basic Trigger Happy to destroy opponents

Aced Nine Lives and Swan Song which should really be in any Death Sentence build

Playstyle
When dealing with normal enemies you can hip fire a burst of around 3 shots to the head to kill them quickly, similar philosophy when encountering Medics, Snipers, Cloakers, Shields, or Tasers.

When encountering a Bulldozer or special enemy like Winters, pull out your primary, the outrageous damage will destroy them incredibly quickly.

Keep on the move and focus on taking hostages, your health regen is your strongest aspect. Try not to use your Stryke excessively as ammo can become scarce after a long firefight.

Typically you're gonna want to be taking out enemies then going into cover so you can wait until Stoic automatically negates the damage you took, it's important that you use your flask when you take a lot of damage quickly rather than little damage over a long period.

Overall the Stryke proves to be great at dispatching normal enemies and even crowds, and you wont be using the Parabellums as much, but it proves very helpful if you need to take out an enemy in a pinch.

@smoustein If you wanna use 2 piece get basic Low Blow, if you want like the concealed vest or another vest ace Low Blow

@smoustein You can probably also use a concealed vest if you want, due to the max crit rate with concealment you could likely get by with having a vest

Quick question what armor do you use ( I'm guessing two piece suit?)

@Szjara Probably the Crosskill Guard but im gonna *eventually* update this to SMGs because I find a happy even ground with them

Hey, I haven't played since the massive update. What other alternatives are to Stryk? I'm trying to find a good hipfire pistol, no luck this far (Deagle is horrendous, Sig40 is okayish). Any suggestions?

Another thing is I typically play solo (fuckin shit internet) so a lack of medic bags would cause problems for me during heists, while many people do bring medic bags I still feel like using first aid kits would cause you to be over reliant on them, however I will take a look at their viability with Stoic. The health regen is still very nice to have nonetheless if you're on the move or just want to save the first aid kits for your team
Relixa 2 Jul, 2018 @ 4:42am
All of that does make sense butyou could just try getting first aid kits. that would increase your health regen more reliable and you can just put a first aid kit down and kill everyone in your radius until you die and regain your hp with uppers. thats more of offense. running around like a maniac and eating first aid kits

As with aced Hostage Taker, the entire premise is that it compliments Stoic incredibly well, as the one weakness of Stoic is while you negate damage, you will slowly lose more health over time, this eliminates this main weakness and makes Stoic by far my favorite perk deck.

I had used Dodge for a while and it was way too "hit or miss" for me in the sense that Bulldozers up close would do no damage but some random cop firing from across the map would two shot me, with Stoic you have not only a hefty damage negation, personally adding 10% more dodge would not be worth investing all your skill points in unless you're using Rogue. I chose Stoic due to it's reliability and survivability. You will find yourself getting downed a lot less than if you were using Rogue which is long story short, up to RNG. If you get hit, not only will it do less damage but you can negate the damage entirely, and by refilling your health over time (Which heals notably fast using aced Hostage Taker plus the Jokers help you avoid fire) Also, while you could use first aid kits it has a more limited use than the medkits and you'll likely find yourself lacking them halfway through the heist versus taking a longer approach with the Medic bags.
