This guide targets players with Fury skills; the more you have unlocked and optimize them, the faster you'll go up. This might be boring because doing something monotonously is boring, and grinding is a monotonous thing.

If you're still on Act I(beach area), there is nothing you can do but to finish it until you reach the Act II(city of Morseby). Just enjoy the game and story, this guide is only useful for those who have access to the Morseby City.

Once you have access to the city, first thing you need to do is unlock the Square/Abandoned House safe house.

Based on the map, it is on the bottom, was labeled as "Abandoned House(Nick's Safe House)"(by the IGN wiki-guys) but it was labeled as SQUARE - ABANDONED HOUSE on the Fast Travel.

If this safe house is not yet on your Fast Travel list or you just reached and finished the first main quests on the church, take the route through the Warehouse, another safe house, then through the Square safe house. Unlocking all of the safe houses on this area is really useful in finishing your other quests.

Once you have reached the Square, talk to Nick and accept the quest "A New Broom Sweeps Clean", finish it and poof, this safe house will be on the list of your fast travel locations.

Fill-up your rage-meter but don't unleash it immediately. One of the places that I usually use to fill this up is near the church. Fast travel to the church, then go out on the side exit where your van is parked, just follow the road until you reach a short bridge with several walkers and infected. Just fill-up your rage meter by slaughtering them. Filling it up depends on the skills you've spent on your Fury skills and weapons you're using.

Once your rage-meter is full, fast travel to the Square. Go outside through the door. Walk several meters east-ward along the shore until you reach a horde of walkers. Unleash your fury on them and look how many experience you've gained. It will require you to do this 4-10 times to gain a new level, depends on how many you got killed during your rage-mode. Also, you may get good items here depends on your luck, I was able to get rare items here.

You may use this horde to fill-up your rage but it is risky depends on your character and weapon you use. Just get in and out of the Square to re-spawn the horde and unleash your fury on them.

There are zombies around the Square that can be used to fill-up your rage meter. Start in front of the safe house, then east-ward, until you clear the area or your rage meter is full.

There are other grinding areas on this game but those are too far from the fast travels like the one I found in the laboratory area which can be reached faster with a car.
