When I started playing Quake Champions, it had been nearly a decade since I had played any real pvp arena shooters and with all the experience I had, I too was getting wrecked.
I kept playing, tried out different champions, started to get the hang of everything (maps, stacks etc.), learning my mistakes and what my opponents did better and managed to reach my potential. Take it slow.
If you're finding it overwhelming, I suggest you play team modes like TDM, CTF or Obelisk and leave Ranked for later. I've also got a guide for CTF mentality and teamwork which might help you find your groove and get comfortable.
Wishing you a smooth ride.
Back then, in INSTAGIB, active abilities would kill targets instantly. Which is how Strogg players would go berserk with their Peeker rapid fire. If it has been fixed now, then thank god! No more cheesing INSTAGIB.
What? It's a lie, all the active abilities act as usual without any extra damage.
The lower sections still remain, but I will edit them in time too.
