Disable windows 10 DPI scaling
  • Open Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
  • Tab out of the game.
  • Rightclick on taskbar.
  • Properties

  • Compatibility tab
  • Change settings for all users



  • Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by Application
  • Disable fullscreen optimizations

Set power plan to "High performance"
Open start menu
Search for "power plan"


Set tick in "High performance" (this might be under "Show additional plans")
Additional step: Reinstall graphics card driver
This is advanced and should not be done unless you know what you are doing.

Download "display driver uninstaller" (search google).
Download newest display driver.
Boot to safe mode.
Uninstall old driver.
Run display driver uninstaller.
Reboot to normal Windows 10.
Install new driver.
