1. Install the HD texture pack from Arkup (OPTIONAL)
http://www.moddb.com/mods/na22920/addons/shadow-man-re-texture-by-arkup-updated-2015

The texture pack can be found at the link above. It is not necessary to install it for the game to work however it does make the game look a bit better. If you prefer the original textures then you can skip this part.

Download the texture pack and follow the included instructions. All you need to do is extract the DATA folder to the game directory and allow it to overwrite any files.

Installing this pack will enable debug mode, if you want to disable debug mode after installation follow these steps:

1. Go to the Shadowman folder > Data > Scripts > Menus > English
2. Rename the release.msc to releaseOLD.msc
3. Rename the debug.msc to release.msc
4. Rename releaseOLD.msc to debug.msc

Changing these file names is how Debug mode is turned on or off, all we are doing here is changing the names back to how they would be with a clean install of the game.
2. Set up dgVoodoo2
http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2.html

Download the latest version of dgVoodoo2 from the link above (v2.55 at time of writing)

Extract all the files from the MS folder to the Shadowman game folder (Steam\steamapps\common\ShadowMan) do not extract the folder, only the files inside it

Extract the dgvoodoocpl.exe file somewhere and run it, it doesn't matter where you run this from.

Match the settings to the settings shown here, you can ignore the Glide tab as it isn't used for this game:

3. Compatibility mode
Now that the game is running via dgvoodoo2 you do not need to use compatibility mode with the game. If compatibility mode is enabled, disable it with the following steps:

Go to the shadowman game directory (Steam\steamapps\common\ShadowMan\)

Right click "Shadowman.exe" and go to "Properties"

Go to the "Compatibility" tab

Untick the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" box
4. Rename the shadowman_installscript.vdf file if the game won't start.
If you are having issues with the game being unable to start you may need to rename the shadowman_installscript file.

Open your shadow man game folder (steam\steamapps\common\shadowman) and rename shadowman_installscript.vdf to installscript.vdf

Your game should now run
5. Closing
Now your game should run properly on Windows 10. This is how I have set everything up and it works fine for me, it took a bit of tweaking to get it right though so hopefully this guide will save you some of that trouble. If you have any questions please comment and I will try to help you.
