I had a friend check and its bugged even on vanilla Ark.
However i don't have the Ark Dev Kit installed anymore and with my really slow internet (600KB/s MAX) it will take me around 80 hours to download just the Ark Dev Kit and another 30 hours on top to download Ark, i'm not doing that.

If you wish to keep using the mod then i would suggest checking the inventorys for good items before riding it over the point.

I'll have a look into it and see if i can fix it

I am using this mod aswell: 1333158793 (Stacks for Humans) maybe its a bug that happens in conjunction with that. I will test that also.

i will try to reproduce it and record it.
So far it seems to affect swords metal pickaxes/hatchets, i was wondering why i never got these tools as "rares" only as primites from alphas. then i had this master crafted sword from a drop, put it into my argentavis and flew over the Drop Off Point by accicent. Sword is gone.

It should keep the items quality and durability since its just moving the item from one inventory to another using their own inventory function

If anyone can confirm that it's resetting quality please let me know

well, im torn.
On the one hand its great for loading off stuff from my Dimo swarm, but on the other hand it just converted a mastercrafted sword to a primitive sword...

Just a note, I put two of these, on the path that I created with "Dino patrol" and I come back to lots of resources in the bin :)

I like the model of a storage box, people think of storing stuff.

But I think it needs model similiar to Feeding Through
