They're trying to build one in-house, but .... as much as I love NISA for trying to be transparent, I have to be brutally honest. It's not going so well :-\ I talked to people who were in the beta and this sort of read/write pattern was even worse then. Spoken dialog and a handful of in-battle text are all that remain of GPU-stall-inducing access patterns that derail framerate from time to time.

Still, the fact that this happens at all is a little lower than my standards for a game that costs money.

really wish these publishers would stop cheaping out when it comes to hiring competent developers. I would assume it would cost them more over time to rectify the myraid of issues the port has than it would have to have hired an experienced studio.
