During your visit in Basingstoke you can craft new weapons, new tech and your favorite beverage. Let us show you how it's done:

There are several basic materials which you will need in order to craft anything: Scrap, metal pipe, sticky tape, batteries and electric components. There is also instant coffee and poison. These materials in and of itself don't do you any good in terms of fighting the monsters, so be mindful when you are at a campsite and thinking about filling those precious inventory slots with just the basic stuff. Here are our tips:

For the best travel experience take with you

• 1 melee weapon (the one you haven't used a lot, because the other ones will likely break during your run)
  
• 1 gun (preferably the one which still has ammo)
  
• a lot of crowd control items (the sausage roll is reusable!)
  
• bonus: don't forget your insurance policy if you have one left from the previous level

The loot you pick up is randomised each time you leave the campsite (except for some locations which have fixed items, I'm looking at you X-Ray Goggles). Your inventory size is unlimited once you back out of the campsite. You will get notified when there are new items to craft. Other than that you will have to find out what does what. If only there was a guide to help you along the way...

Thief
Unlocked after 50 robberies. So loot, loot, loot and then loot some more. You will eventually get it.

• Crowbar, let's you break open parking meters and kiosks silently. You need to turn on your torchlight afterwards to get the loot.
  
• Loot Scanner, uses batteries. Does what it says.
  
• Lockpick set (Passive ability), no more looking for keys or access codes. Very handy!

Construction worker
Unlocked after breaking through a number of walls. There are secrets and shortcuts behind suspicious looking wall segments (you know, bricks protruding). So just punch them with any melee weapon (except the frying pan, that one's just too weak). You are going to make some noise this way though...

Art thief
In the museum level there are seven ming vases which you need to loot. Break the glass, shine your torchlight on the vase and then loot. Of course the alarm will sound, when you break the glass. But progress on this achievement is tracked even if you die.

Wildlife photographer
Take a picture with every enemy type. Every enemy that has an entry in the encyclopedia that is. There are eight types in total. The last enemy type (moving tentacle) you will encounter only towards the end.
