I have decided to stop modding to pursue other interests. I am fine with tinkering, updating, & uploading your own version of this mod. In that case, credits & a link back to the original mod would be appreciated.

This mod contains parts from the starfighter famously used by Luke Skywalker and the Rebel Alliance seen in Episode IV and beyond can be found in this mod. Currently, the mod contains engine and weapon parts. However, I may update this pack with additonal content later. Potential to-do list: Add thruster flames to 4L4 Fusial Thrust Engine Back, Proton torpedo launcher block, astromech, and maybe some sound effects for the engines.

Mod Contents:

1x1 Small Ship KX9 Laser Cannon Turret

1x1 Small Ship KX9 Laser Cannon Stationary

2x2 Small Ship 4L4 Fusial Thrust Engine Front

2x2 Small Ship 4L4 Fusial Thrust Engine Front with wing part

2x2 Small Ship 4L4 Fusial Thrust Engine Back

1x1 Small Ship Sublight Drive Engine Cube

Tibanna (carbonite frozen) which spawns as a voxel with a rare spawn rate is used to create ammo

Additional Details:

The cannons in this mod are divided into categories which have 2 types of ammo. The first is a projectile ammo type which does not affect voxels on objects such as planets or asteroids and the energy bolt cannot be targeted by other turrets. The second ammo type is explosive and affects anything it impacts with.

Each ammo box gives 500 shots.

Energy bolts can be green, red or blue.

Blocks in this mod have authentic star wars sounds.

All content in this mod was modeled by me using Blender.

Here are some fixes if the mod is not loading up
Check to see if the mod was downloaded from the Steam Workshop, is selected in the menu, and the load order for your mods may have to be adjusted before loading a world. If you can't find the mod or are getting other errors unsubscribe and resubscribe to the mod on the workshop so Steam downloads it again. If that does not work go to the mods folder which is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850
and delete the folder titled 1378126259 so the mod redownloads. Again, unsubscribe and resubscribe and make sure the mod folder is fully downloaded, selected in the menu, and the load order is adjusted before loading the world.

Please, do not ask me to bundle one of my mods with another one of my mods. Also, please, do not ask me to post specific content from one of my mods into its own mod. I've decided this due to the extra work it would take me to keep mods with duplicate content updated and organized. I will likely ignore comments asking for this.

Yeah I am up for jumping in on this, though I do not know how to script anything I can certainly make the models and textures for them. I am with Stomach brain on getting baselines for the weapons where its sort of universal for the different sets of them that way a fight lasts longer than 1 hit. I liked what Stomach did with his body pieces being multipurpose so thats sort of my goal with my pieces as well. If one of you could help me script it I can model it all. Add me on here and we can message here or add you two on discord if you like.

Overall, I'm agree with you.
About scripting, I started working on it.
There is a lot of potential to exploit.
For now, I'm using an upgrade script for thrusters.

@stomachbrain Good job with your mod too, I saw it a while back. I personally like my Star Wars weapons to be a bit more powerful than the vanilla ones and even then they are less powerful than the weapons in the main Star Wars pack. However, it would be nice if Keen or another modder could create a slider in game or a configuration file that would allow people to choose their own weapon characteristics such as power and fire rate. Unfortunately, I don't have enough knowledge about scripts to make that myself.

I'm working on the modpack Star Wars TIE and this mod will be the good counterpart

But your blocks are too powerful compared to vanilla blocks.
We should find a balance between our two mods and vanilla blocks.

@katiebug85 I have not been planning on adding any custom wing sets or body parts. Perhaps, I can open this mod for collaboration if other modders are interested such as yourself, if you figured out how to set up SE mods and create those sets (plus adding modders as collaboraters if we work something out). Also, I have been aware of the complaint you listed since the beginning of the mod and I found how to fix it for the laser cannons and other blocks so it should be in the next update.

I was thinking to suggest making up a set of wings and perhaps body parts to go along with this set, but if you don't have time or the desire to make them perhaps I could when I get the stuff setup to do SE mods in blender do a complimentary set for this one. I must say I really like this kit though. great job on the details. The only complaint I have is the work around you have to do to get the guns to mount, could you maybe see about making the attachment be the part with the conveyor attachments?

the small kx9 cannon aint working it wont fire for me
tried adding 200 ammo init and 20 large reactors to power the damm thing wont work
