Introduction


Steredenn is a space side scrolling shoot'em'up with roguelike elements made by Pixelnest Studio.

A word from the author:

This game is super fun and most achievements unlock through natural progression, having said that there are a few that do require alot of patience, I myself struggle to gain them. If you are a casual achievement hunter don't expect an easy 100% from this game. The game does get easier the more you play so don't become too frustrated, I find that once I reach a peak I tend to need a break and trying to keep playing just leads to lots of small mistakes. So take breaks when you need to and don't try to force development, as with all shoot'em'ups it takes time and patience....and some reflexes!

On a side note, thank you Pixelnest Studio for this awesome game, it is without a doubt a modern classic!
Player Classes
There are five different fighter classes available to play, each with its own strenghs and weaknesses, however all the player classes have a two pixel green cockpit that is the players weak point, meaning your ship can overlap enemy bullets and beams as long as those two green pixels are not touched.


The two green 'pixels' are your weak point!



Tempest

Starting HP and default weapon
Default Special Attack




The Tempest is the first ship you will be able to use, overall balanced with a dedicated melee slot as its special attack.




Fortress

Starting HP and default weapon
Default Special Attack



The Fortress is by far the most forgiving ship, it has more health but does slightly less damage, it also has a rechargable missile attack special that packs a real punch.




Fury
Starting HP and default weapon
Default Special Attack



The Fury is a very technical ship, it has less health than the other ships and no offensive special attack, but it has a unique blink ability which allows it to teleport anywhere around the screen.




Specialist
Starting HP and default weapon
Default Special Attack




The Specialist is another very technical ship, it has even less health than the previous two and cannot pick up weapons, it relies solely on bots to defend itself, but on the up side its bots are invincible.




Red Baron
Starting HP

Main Weapon - Spread Bullet
Secondary Weapon - Laser Beam
Tertiary Weapon - Mortar Shot


Special Ability - Turbo Boost


The Red Baron is abit tricky to unlock, a player must reach and defeat a destroyer without taking any damage. Once unlocked the Red Baron offers a unique way of playing, it has the least amount of health and it cannot pick up any weapons. It has 3 fixed weapons to choose from and a speed boost as its special.

In this section the achievements are broadly laid out into categories. Certain achievements including Attracted to You and Ace of Aces will have a seperate section detailing their specific requirements, most other achievements are pretty self explanatory.


Kill Count Achievements
Achieve a certain kill quota to unlock these achievements.

Dark Matter Machine
Kill 50 enemies.
Dark Matter Factory
Kill 250 enemies.
Dark Matter Industry
Kill 1000 enemies.
Popcorn Party
Kill 500 fighters.
Popcorn Contest
Kill 2500 fighters.
Popcorn Black Hole
Kill 10000 fighters.


Boss Achievements
Unlocked through normal progression.

One small step
Destroy a bomber Boss.
Giant Leap
Destroy a frigate Boss.
Giant Leap
Destroy a destroyer Boss.
A Bit Closer to Heaven
Destroy a Cruiser boss.

Destroy a Carrier boss.

Pick-up related Achievements
These unlock once you have picked up a certain amount and/or all of a certain type of weapon or upgrade.

Bullet Maker
Pick up all the Bullet Weapons.
Solar Knight
Pick up all the Melee Weapons.
Squad Leader
Pick up all the Bots weapons.
Infinite Battery
Pick up all the Energy Weapons.
Bay Man
Pick up all the Heavy Weapons.
Steredenn Space Program
Try out all the upgrades.
Gunsmith
Destroy 100 cargos.
Space Cadet
Pick up 15 different weapons.
Deep Space Captain
Pick up all weapons at least once.


Challenging Achievements
These achievements will test you limits.

I SEE SPY
Kill a spy with a flame-thrower.
Supernova
Die 50 times.
Rush Hour
Complete a Boss rush.
Navigator
Finish the game once.
Singularity
Finish the first loop.
Gladiator of the Universe
Defeat all the bosses in the Arena at least once.

Beast Challenge
Possibly the hardest achievement to unlock, don't pick up anything, use only the blaster on the Tempest to complete the whole game.....yeh.

ULTRAWARRIOR
Beat the game using the Blaster only.


Enemy Types
Regular Bosses - Bombers, Frigates and Destroyers
There are 7 levels of regular bosses, Bombers, Frigates, Destroyers, Cruisers, Carriers, the Battleship, and the Mothership.

Each class of boss has a several versions of the Boss each with its own attack patterns. Below is a broad list of all the regular bosses and a basic description of their attack pattern.



Bomber Tier


Bomber MK-I


Pattern
Description
1
Shoots a green bullet above and below that fires a stream of blue bullets in a straigh line and will shoot three pink bullets in your direction.
2
A long burst of blue bullets in every direction.
3
Fires 3 green bullets that burst into spread of loosely aimed pink bullets.


Bomber MK-II


Pattern
Description
1
Shoots 5 large blue bullets in the players general direction.
2
A long stream of small pink bullets in the players general direction.
3
Fires a single green bullet that bursts into a directional streams of blue bullets in every direction, it moves slightly down or up and repeats the attack at a constant rate.


Bomber MK-III

Pattern
Description
1
Green Bullets loosely fill the screen, expanding into small static bursts of blue bullets.
2
5 green bullets suddenly appear parallel to each other and shoot 5 lines of fast moving blue bullets.
3
shoots 3 streams of pink bullets that rotate outwards around the Boss


Bomber MK-IV

Pattern
Description
1
Shoots a series of green bullets that stop and shoot 3 pink bullets in the plazers general direction.
2
Shoots wide arcs of blue bullets up and down sequentially.
3
Shoots large blue bullets in a spread shot pattern that leave a trail of smaller blue bullets. This attack is fast and can take people by surprise.


Frigate Tier



Frigate MK-I



Pattern
Description
1
Shoots green bullets that fill the screen. Each green bullet splits into 4 red bullets, which in turn split again into 2 blue bullets.
2
Shoots 3 streams of large blue bullets, one straight, one angled up and one angled down, creating large gaps between them.
3
Shoots a red bullet which leaves a trail of green bullets that create streaks of high speed blue bullets in vertical lines. All the while the boss shoots small fast moving pink bullets at the player.



Frigate MK-II



Pattern
Description
1
A spread shot of blue bullets in a 180 angle facing the players starting position.
2
The boss fills the screen with blue bullets that burst into small static circular patterns. The boss will charge to the left after his shockwave burst. Track the green bullets to make sure that you won't get stuck inbetween explosions

Shoots a densely packed burst of blue bullets. The pattern starts with a cross shape burst followed by an X shape burst, alternating between these two patterns.



Frigate MK-III


Pattern
Description
1
First pattern consists of a large green bullet that moves slowly in a straight line spawning a burst of six smaller blue bullets in 45 degree angles.

Shoots wide rows of large pink bullets leaving a large gap in the middle of its pattern one can navigate in.
3
This attack comes in the form of two sin curved streams of bullets in inverted directions towards the player leaving large gaps of empty space within the curves.



Destroyer Tier


Destroyer MK-I



Pattern
Description
1
Shoots a series of homing torpedos that will change direction and generally chase you where ever you go. Dodging the torpedos is near impossible with some ships, players should focus entirely on shooting down the torpedos during this pattern.

360 degree burst of aimed blue bullets. The shots are fast but wide leaving large gaps

Drops flaming explosions hanging in the air while charging its main beam cannon. The laser beam is large and the boss will move up and down trying to wipe the screen in its blast.

Shoots a burst of pink bullets aimed at the player.





Destroyer MK-II



Pattern
Description
1
A ring of pink bullets spawns around the boss then flies directly at the players position slowly skewing from a circular shape into a oval line.
2
Fills the screen with static blue bullets, once they fly into position the destroyer fires its main beam cannon.
3
Fires a diamond shape stream of pink bullets that lock onto the player shortly after being fired.
4
Shoots green bullets that spawns 3 pink bullets in the spread formation, while shooting blue bullets in a circular pattern.
5
Creates a ring of fiery explosions followed by a mega laser blast.

What are the conditions to encounter the Special Bosses for Encounter Achievements?

you have to get specalist first, then you can get red baron, also, specalist makes it easier to get red baron because of it's insane dps, and can obliterate bosses very quickly

i beat red baron but didnt get the ship i had passive shield and do not have the specialist ship pls help i really want the red baron
