1. Basic
Before learning this gudie you should learn "The 'Cascade' or the 'Chain' bonus" and "Sync Bonus" point HERE[audiosurf.wikia.com]. You need to know what is a chain or a cascade and what is a Sync Bonus.

As usual, intro.
The Eraser characters are characters with a special ability that allows them to delete all blocks of a certain color in your grid. This is done by riding over the block of the color you want to erase, while holding down the left or right mouse button. Erased blocks get in Eraser's "stock" so you can accumulate large massives. You can restore erased blocks by right-clicking but be carefull - it is still possible to cause an overfill on full columns which you have erased a colour from. There are two different Eraser characters: Eraser (Pro difficulty) and Eraser Elite (Elite difficulty and which have slightly extra time for chains (2 seconds instead of standard 1,5)).
2. Bonuses
I'll break the point down into 2 parts - bonuses after ride and bonuses during ride.

2.1. Bonuses after ride.

As you know (I hope) in the game there are 7 bonuses after ride:
  • Match 7/11/21 (next - m7/m11/m21);
  • Clean Finish (next - CF);
  • Seeing Red & Butter Ninja (next - SR & BN);
  • Stealth.
For any Eraser the most important bonuses is CF, m21 and SR & BN. I think you understand why so important to get CF and m21, but very often I noticed a situation when players ignored SR & BN. They reasoned it approximately so: "Why I need that bonuses it's only +10% to final score". I thousand times had a situation when not 10%, even there were enough 2-3% to beat the rival, but I miss one of that bonuses. As a final note - you could never defeat top players without SR & BN.

Actually it is very simple to receive these bonuses - you need to develop a habit to erase not used blocks. For exampe, If you use green and yellow you need erase reds blocks which you meet. It isn't obligatory to erase each block because you need to collect 95+% to get these bonuses, so you can skip some blocks (on average 1 block for every minute). For example, you can skip 1 or 2 blocks to make the current massive much more.

Here I collected yellow & green colors. I didn't skiped reds and just erase them:

It was the most difficult for me to collect yellow and green and erase reds but after 1 mounth I finally could do it without mistakes.

2.2. Bonuses during ride.

There are 3 bonuses for Eraser - Sync Bonus, Clean Match and Chain (or Cascade).

From chapter 1 (Basic) you know what is the chain and the Sync Bonus.

I recommend to receive Sync Bonus only to skilled players as the inexperienced player most likely will spoil the massive than will receive Sync Bonus. Usual players add 3 blocks of other color to fill the remained space on the board for the maximum profit.

Here I collected 4 pink blocks for sync bonus:

Eraser have another important bonus - Clean Match. You automatically receive this bonus if after end of any massive your board will empty. If conditions of receiving a bonus are satisfied then you receive twice more points for the massive.

Here I have specially taken the pink block at the left. Because of this block I haven't received the Clean Match bonus after combustion of the massive because I had one block on the board:
3. Strategy
We have approached the most interesting part.

Strategy for Eraser Pro.

You should first do 4-5 fast massives (3-4 blocks) for increasing the chain. It is very important to increase a chain as soon as possible. After increase the chain, just collect 2 the most widespread color on the piece of a track (usual it yellow & red or yellow & blue). When you fill your board for 80% you need to erase more expensive color (next - second color). After it you need to gather additionally as much as possible blocks of that color which was left on your board and continuing to accumulate second color in the stock. When your stock will have more than 18 blocks you need to restore it in empty board but be carefull - don't overfiells!
Also you can collect white blocks but don't forget - any unused block in your massive will block Clean Match bonus.
  • Case - if you saw the red or the yellow paint ahead you need to collect as much as possible any blocks in board to maximize paint's effect.

  • Case - if you saw the multiplicator ahead you need to erase second color and finish your massive before taking the multiplicator. After you have taken the multiplicator you need to restore second color and finish it with multiplicator's boost. But don't forget - activation of the multiplicator requires time (1,5-2 seconds). After it the multiplicator will boost your next massive. And yeah, Sync Bonus and multiplicator boost are multiplied with each other.

Strategy for Eraser Elite.

Same as for Eraser Pro. But it more difficult because on Elite 5 colors, so for good score you need to learn your track to know which colors you need to collect on the all pieces of track.

Though on the Elite character it is much easier to do big massives.

For example, you collect yellow and red colors. If you see that your current massive will disappear before you take one more yellow or red block and your stock empty, you need to take 1 block of any another color and to use him to increase massive volume just erasing this block and returning it back to the board:

After filling of the massive I have erased the pink block because I don't need it anymore and I have replaced this block to red massive. The only lack of this method is that it can't be used when your stock isn't empty.

Also you can use one of two colors on your board:

This method has 2 big lacks:
  1. You lose much more blocks of which you make the massive;
  2. You need constantly to watch distance between blocks to erase one of them in time.

Though the second method is one of two methods by means of which it is possible to increase the massive in the stock and the massive on the board if blocks are located too far apart. But to use this method you should have good timing and reaction:

Why have I erased yellows if I could erase greens? Because yellows are more expensive than greens therefore you should have more valuable massive in the priority.

The second way is that this to add one more color to the massive on the board. Something like this:

In the conclusion this video shows all about what I have written above:

Gravity Matches (next - GM)

GM - creation of the massive so that his destruction has formed the new massive(-es).
GM are very importarn because GM can hold the chain. But they works only on Elite mode.

In most cases, it's 2 or more massives which consists of 3 blocks:
If you still have problems with understanding of GM then watch this video:

As you can see the massives are formed one after another and increase+hold the chain
4. Ending.
Sometimes quite difficult to choose 2 most valuable colors on a piece of the track. In this table the cost of every color for the elite mode is specified:
In general all this that you need to know about this character. I hope this guide will help you to learn to play better and perhaps once somebody will be able to surpass me.
If you’re having questions you can leave them In comments.

In conclusion, here is my best video on Eraser Elite:

Thank you for your contribution, you deserve a medal for writing actual good guides. Good Job!

Also I think in the strategy part you can mention techniques like using 1 purple/blue to extend match timer; and also don't be afraid to erase medium-size blue/purple match to make space for yellow/red.
