A few tips:


Don't hold W when sliding (or whatever your acceleration key is), rather alternate between taps and short holds, that way you aren't pushing it so far that you spin out.


A key point in drifting is that you aren't doing donuts, slide around one turn then alternate to another that's in a different direction.


There are five stars of an angle, the first three are easy to acheive without spinning out, the other two are a bit harder, see, alike throttle control you also have to control where you're turning, alternate between the A and D keys and you should hit peak angle in no time.
