It's quite of machine indeed, but its costs are quite high compared to default steam engines so it does slow a bit the progress I guess. But yea I know what you mean by that, I don't want to make it appear later though since this was available in 1860s :)

Hey. I know people enjoy having a powerhouse like this so early in the game but this locomotive is single-handedly responsible for somewhat ruining a save game of mine, exactly because of too early access to it. Basically it's 1880 and I'm swimming in cash, I've built all the bridges I wanted already and have a rail network across 40+ towns on a 6k map. By the time I get to electrics there won't be any point in playing anymore because I'll have so much cash and barely anything to spend it on. I know that all I have to do is "just" not use it, but introducing it 20 years later would be much more in line with the rest of the game :)

This locomotive maintains workhorse status on my railways right up until the Flying Scottsman is available, and it looks great doing it too. Kiitos!

It would require lots of editing which I'm not too fussed about at the moment. There are lots of other models I want to do first. But if someone wants to give it a try, I give my permission to it :)

Here are the stats http://www.steamlocomotive.com/locobase.php?country=Canada&wheel=4-4-0&railroad=cpr

There is one on display at CPR headquarters. an A1e (so a slightly later model) http://www.steamlocomotive.com/whyte/4-4-0/Canada/photos/cpr29.jpg It was rebuilt in 1910 to it's current configuration.

It would have been painted like this a2, CPR 374 which is on display in Vancouver BC (minus the commemorative decal on the tender)

Lots more A1's and A2's throughout time.

Hope this helps
