NBA 2K series have been a rich source for historical basketball content. NBA 2K11 had the Jordan mode, and NBA 2K12 has a bunch of great teams from 70's, 80's and 90's. The Ultimate 2K12 Mod project started on the NLSC modding forums as humble team releases which can be added to the game to play against the game's original retro teams - We were just adding some of our favorite squads to the game for our own enjoyment. Fast forward one and a half year, the UBR is now the most complete historical package basketball gaming has ever seen, continually updated by some 50~ contributors and praised by sports gaming websites such as NLSC and Operation Sports.

Today the Ultimate NBA 2K12 Mod Pack includes the following:

• Ultimate Base Roster (250+ Historical Teams & Up-to-date Current Rosters with all the new 2013 draft rookies, new jerseys and courts. Brooklyn Nets and New Orleans Pelicans included too!)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

After you click the "DOWNLOAD" button located above you will be brought to a webpage with 5 separate download parts. If this is the first time seeing the "5 Part" downloads on this page then you're going to want to download and install Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 first (and install them exactly in that order). If you have already previously downloaded Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 once already (at ANY time) for the Ultimate Base Roster or one of the other Season Mods you won't have to download them again. If you're not sure if you have downloaded them previously then play it safe and download/install Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. Remember, after you download these parts ONE time you never have to download them again. You MUST install them in order.

After you install the first 3 parts you may then download and install Part 4 and Part 5.

After downloading each part make sure to read the "README.PDF" file located in the zip file.

You will need to place all of the contents from Part 1 into your Main NBA2K Folder.

You will need to place all of the contents from Part 2 into your Main NBA2K Folder.

When it asks you to overwrite files you need to say YES - Don't worry, you won't be losing any content.

Then open the game and load the “UltimateBaseRosterV” roster. If you load the roster and not all the teams are showing then first load “Unlock All Settings” from the load menu.

As a reminder: NEVER verify your game files after installing the mod pack as you will lose the new content if Steam downloads the original files again.
