Updated for the Rakarth Patch 28/03/2021

This mod changes the required ressources to start Vortex rituals for each faction to 200%. I did create this mod as the other one i did use so far broke with the tomb kings update and i hope this also helps other people who prefer a slower vortex campaign.

This works for alle 4 ritual factions and their respective ressources (Scrolls of Hekarti, Way-Fragments, Ancient Plaques and Wapstones)

The new ressource requirements are as follows:

Ritual 1: 350 -> 700
Ritual 2: 1060 -> 2120
Ritual 3: 2040 -> 4080
Ritual 4: 3325 -> 6650
Ritual 5: 5000 -> 10000

You can find mods for 300%, 400% and 99900% below:
Vortex Ritual Requirements x3
Vortex Ritual Requirements x4
Vortex Ritual Requirements x999

Hi there, so I've subscribed to the mod but my Ritual still says it requires only 350. Any ideas?

Hey DaddyYobama, when i test this version it works as intended. Which faction do you play? and did you already start the 2nd ritual before adding the mod?

I did various tests, adding, switching and removing the different versions during an ongoing campaign and it never caused any issues.

And yes if you add it to an ongoing campaign it is supposed to put you back as the requirements of the next ritual (and every other ritual) double upon loading your save. Removing the mod will return them to their original values.

Maybe i misunderstood what you meant but slowing down the ritual progress is the intention of this mod. It does not speed up your plaque production. So you might be looking for the opposite mod.

Doesn't work AT ALL "atleast for me" I was about to do the 2nd ritual and i turned on the mod then it put me back ALOT ritual wise then the next turn the game crashed all while I was still producing the same amount of plaques.....

Hey cybvep,

the table you need to change the resource cost is "resource_cost_pooled_resource_junctions_tables" . In there you can change the values for "wh2_main_ritual_vortex_1" and 2,3, etc. to set the required amount of resources.

I did also use "pooled_resources_tables" to extend the default limit of 9999 ritual resource units however since you're decreasing them you should not need to change this value.

I didn't touch the rituals themselves or their duration so unfortunately i dont know where to set the length but you could always open the assembly kit and do a global search for one of the ritual IDs like "wh2_main_ritual_vortex_1" and see where that leads you. This is the way I use to find out about the possible locations of entries related to your search term and their connections.

Hi there. This is an interesting mod, but I would like to modify the Vortex race in a different direction, i.e. to make the campaign faster by decreasing the requirements for every ritual stage after the first one by something like 25% and decreasing the length of every ritual by 40% (6 turns instead of 10). Can you tell me which entries have to be modified to achieve that effect?
