I have nothing to add. I just love it that I'm not the only one who spends too much time following the population about. I wonder if they know that 'Big Brother' is watching. Lol.

Though there should be, there is no or little speed difference between the two pathways. I was thinking the same about traipsing through the house taking longer.Lol!

Is there a speed difference between gravel and concrete paths seeing how one costs twice as much ?

Yeah, I fully believe they pick quicker not shorter. It's just it's sooooo much longer - maybe they took into account having to walk through the house and lock it afterwards. LOL. Shame there is no published stats on path verses pavement speeds.

Lol, the choice to use the path over the sidewalk because the sidewalk is slower speed limit I do understand, but to be that much quicker is funny. Let me nail it home again If you don't mind, "they travel the quicker route NOT the shorter". For the shorter may travel at a slower speed.
