How to get the OST to show up in Steam Music (PC)
By mixolydia
As of writing, the Original Soundtrack does not automatically show up in Steam Music, and will not show up with a scan. This guide has a simple fix to work around it.

What Is the Problem?
The main problem that most users confront is that the original soundtrack (OST) does not show up when looking through the Steam Music Library. Even when downloaded, it can be difficult to track down through file searches.
Where The Music Really Is
Here is what people who downloaded the OST see when they bring up the Steam Music Library:

The OST is not in the Music file, but within Night In The Woods game files.

File directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Night in the Woods

In the game file, all the .mp3 files for the soundtrack (no .flac files, sorry) will be visible once opening it.
Note: There will be multiple tracks with the same numbers. Don't worry, this will not pose a problem at all.

Folder It All Up
Create a new folder within the Night In The Woods game file. This will be where you will put the .mp3 files. You can name the new folder whatever you want, but it would probably be more helpful to label it accordingly.

Select every single .mp3 file. Drag the files into your new folder (or cut + paste, you do you).

Note: The .mp3 files with the same track numbers will re-organize themselves into their respective albums when the music is added into the Music Library.

Adding Your New File and Re-Scanning
Go back to your Steam Music Library and try to add music again. Go to the new file and select it. Click select. The file location will be in the Music Library options. Re-scan.

After the Re-Scan
Once the re-scan completes, your updated music library will have the three OST albums from the game.

Enjoy!

I thought that when buying the OST it would be in FLAC, not MP3 :(

Can't find the .mp3 files, I have the folder for the game open with all the tabs correct. It's not there.
