Tested in June 2022 > updated Map Collection. Map is still working as expected

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Subscribe to the whole collection above.
  2. Subscribe at least to the river boats and "Advanced Vehicle Options" in the linked collection.
  3. Activate the mods. Set "Unlimited Trees" to 6 or higher. Make sure that all your assets are active as well.
  4. Map is now ready for playing.
  5. Deactivate the ocean liners with "Advanced Vehicle Options"

This really deserves the title of a great map. I wonder if you accept comissions. There's a map I would really like to do that I just lack the skill to achieve and I think you would do a great job.

Can you specify what you mean?

Multiple national roads/highways share their outside connection because the outside connection spawns traffic. Too many outside connection on one map would therfore lead to an overflow of dummy traffic. That is the reason I combined some at the map edges.

What happens to your traffic when you upgrade the roads in what way? More traffic, or traffic concentrating?

Out of curiosity (as there seems to be no recent posts since Nov '22) , are there still bottlenecks on the main routes on this map, going to off map road connections?
I had a number of issues when upgrading roads, as it meant rebuilding in a lot of places, causing knock on effects for traffic routing.

(Can't be arsed to load it to check, as the last time I played this map was about 3 years ago, on my old PC)

I still use NExT2 because it has roads smaller than one tile. Therefore I still find it useful.

NExT2 still works but replacing it is easy as can be: subscribe and activate https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2405917899&searchtext=ron and https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2585558081 . Automatic replacement, nothing else to do, no further need of NExT2. Then enjoy this great map.
