Go to E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Contagion\contagion and find "splitscreen_config.txt"
Open it, delete everything (if you want you can backup) and paste this:
"splitscreenconfig" { "nonwidescreen" { "aspect" "8 by 3" "insethud" "0" "fov" "80" "viewmodelfov" "48" } "widescreen_horizontal_split" { "aspect" "128 by 27" "insethud" "0" "fov" "85" "viewmodelfov" "52" } "widescreen_vertical_split" { "aspect" "32 by 27" "insethud" "0" "fov" "100" "viewmodelfov" "74" } }

This code is for 21:9 users, my resolution is 2560x1080 and it's working alright!
