As in all Hakuoki Games, Corruption is the other thing besides affection that determinds which ending you get. It applies to any of the guys that have been turned into furies. which by now I'm sure you're aware is all but Harada and Chikage.

For the routes it applies to, in each chapter there is a choice that with either result in low or high corruption. For the best ending you want to keep your corruption low, which you will find that even between choices it does start to creep up. Thankfully one of the choice actually lowers the corruption.

This is the choice you will get in each chapter and what to choose.

Firstly save before this choice as there are two that give you CG's each time you choose them to complete your events gallery.

When the guy starts to get bloodlust, you will get this choice.


* Give Blood Lowers Corruption Gives CG Best choice
* GIve Medicine No Corruption
* Make him endure High Corruption Gives CG

The best way to do this is to save, choose to make him endure first to get the CG, then go back and give him blood for the best ending. You need to do this each time to get all the CG's.
Giving Medicine, while doesn't rise your corruption, doesn't get rid of the bit that you gain just though the story. It also gives no CG or achievments that I can tell.

As I said, i have only played the happy endings for far, but I'm pretty sure this is how to get the Unrequieted love ending and the bad ending. It should apply to all the guys expect for the two that don't have corruption, thoses I'm not sure about.

For the Unrequieted Love ending:

Restart the guys route through the record of warriors at chapter four with low affection and low corruption,

Then for the first choice choose the one you didn't chose for the good ending
For the corruption choice still choose to give him blood,
then if there is the third choice again choose the one you didn't use before.

This should lead to unrequieted love ending.

For the Bad Ending:

Again restart the guy's route in record of warriors at chapter four, but this time, use low affection but high corruption

For the first choice again use the one you didn't for the good ending,

Then for the corruption choice make him endure it.

If there's a third choice again choose the one you didn't before.

This should lead to the bad ending.

Load Chapter Four of Okita's route from the Record of Warriors with Low romance and Low corruption.

Choose: I'll endure it.

There should be no second choice.
This should lead to the Unrequieted Love Ending and the last CG of Okita's.

You might note that you'll have two missing CG's even after completing the happy ending, which i have found usually contain all cgs except the corruption ones for making him endure. You can get the missing CG's by completing the Unrequieted Love ending.

Open route through the record of warriors and load his on low romance and low corruption.

This route has no choices and is fairly short. The only reason I really played it was to gain the last few CG's not found in the guys routes. Completing your gallary also gain's a bonus CG that I personaly think is worth it.
