It works for me, also they actually lighten adjacent tiles... I like to stack 2 of these and then put the 1x4 (advanced) hydroponics next to them

@vader, screenshot says no and is actually vastly cheaper than the default 1x5+sunlamp.

Does one of these take the same amount of power as two vanilla hydroponics basins or more power is needed? Just trying to do some basic calculations....
