12 Labours of Hercules V: Kids of Hellas has a total of 23 achievements, 1 of which is missable.

First, you should play the normal levels (1.1 to 1.10, 2.1 to 2.10, 3.1 to 3.10, 4.1 to 4.10 and 5.1 to 5.10) on casual difficulty aiming to collect the hidden puzzle piece and score a 3 gold star score on each level.

Care should be taken on one of the following levels (2.5, 3.9 or 4.3) to make sure that you collect the puzzle piece and all 4 hidden collectables at the same time on at least one of these levels otherwise you will miss earning the Hawk-eyed achievement, which if you do will require a second partial replay of the game to earn.

Once you have all the puzzle pieces and have unlocked the Gold Chain achievement complete the 5 jigsaw puzzles and the 6 bonus levels (1.11, 2.11, 3.11, 4.11, 5.11 and 6.11) in gold time to earn the The Kingdom of Midas and The Greatest Challenge achievements.

Next replay 10 levels on expert difficulty, beating the developers scores to obtain the Superior and Overlord achievements and lastly replay levels as required to mop up any achievements that you missed.

At the end of this guide there are screenshots of each level highlighting the collectables for each level and there are also playthrough videos for each level with a 3 star gold score.

This achievement can be earned on the very first level (level 1.1), send Hercules east to clear the first boulder, then Megara to revive the tree, as she moves to the tree send Hercules to clear the second eastern boulder and as soon as it is removed send a servant to press the button. All three characters should be active at once and the achievement will pop.

If you don't get the achievement this early, fear not as this achievement is actually impossible to miss in later levels where you will have 5+ characters at your disposal.

Level 1.1, Juggler Achievement.

To earn this achievement you must collect 1 (or more) resources after the final objective for a level has been met. You can technically earn this as early as level 1.2 and every level thereafter, but I happened to earn it on level 1.7 as part of my natural progression (without trying).

All you need to do is send out a servant to collect a resource from a respawnable point (fruit bush/farm/sawmill etc) straight after you send out someone to finish the very last requirement for a level, just make sure the resource the servant is going out to collect is sufficiently far away that they do not collect it before the final requirement is met, it has to be collected AFTER the final requirement for the level is completed.

On level 1.7 when Hercules is on his way to collect the child by the level exit send a servant to collect the gold/food from the northern mine or farm just as Hercules is about to pass over the bridge.

Level 1.7, Trickster Achievement.

This achievement is much like the earlier "Juggler" achievement, this time however you must call upon 5 characters at the same time and can be earned as early as level 1.7.

On this level you start out with access to 2 servants, a third can be obtained by releasing him from his cage and you also have access to Hercules, Megara and a lion.

On 1.7 once you have obtained the 3rd servant, clear a path to Hercules, then begin to clear a path to Megara, as soon as Hercules clears the boulder just before Megara send her to revive the fruit bush just south of her starting position and as Hercules makes his way back to his spawn point send out all 3 servants to harvest resources and the achievement will pop.

Level 1.7, Commander Achievement.

Another candidate is level 5.4, clear path to Cerberus and Megara then send a servant to mine gold, another to collect wood from the sawmill and the 3rd to collect food from the farm, then get Megara to clear the black puddle in the lower centre of the map and send Cerberus to clear ghost below Megara's starting position.

Other possible candidates are level 3.8, 4.1 and maybe level 5.3.

To earn a gold time (3 star score) simply complete a level before the timer on the left side of the screen drops below the arrow line, this can be done either playing on Casual or Expert difficulty but not on Relaxed.

The three achievements "First Gold", "The Golden Mean" and "Gold Chain" are earned playing the base levels only (1.1 to 1.10, 2.1 to 2.10, 3.1 to 3.10, 4.1 to 4.10 and 5.1 to 5.10) the bonus levels have their own achievements for earning gold times and they do not count towards the totals for these three achievements.

At the end of this guide I have added video walkthroughs for levels 1.1 to 1.10, 2.1 to 2.10, 3.1 to 3.10, 4.1 to 4.10 and 5.1 to 5.10 with gold times on casual difficulty.

Levels 1.1 to 1.10, 2.1 to 2.10, 3.1 to 3.10, 4.1 to 4.10 and 5.1 to 5.10 each have 1 puzzle piece to collect (the bonus levels 1.11, 2.11, 3.11, 4.11 and 5.11 do not).

To earn this achievement you only need to collect a total of 5 puzzle pieces and while there is no achievement for collecting all 50 puzzle pieces you will need to collect all of them to unlock the 6 bonus levels if you want to 100% the game.

At the end of this guide I have added screenshots of all puzzle pieces and also collectable locations and I have also added it to the beginning of all my playthrough videos which are also found at the end of this guide.

For this achievement you must collect 100 resources (in total of any type) after building a Demeter's Obelisk (the Obelisk that increases yield). There are numerous levels where at Demeter's Obelisk can be built and this achievement will likely be earned through natural progression without trying like I did on level 2.2.

Level 2.2, Demeter's Grace Achievement.

If you somehow do not manage to get this achievement on level 2.2, there's another opportunity to earn it on level 3.8.

For this achievement you must enable a bonus (stop time, work faster, run faster, extra servant etc) while the very same bonus is already active. E.G: if you have stop time active, enable stop time again before the first stop time bonus expires.

Numerous levels have a cheap to enable bonus and you could easily earn this on level 2.3 with the Work Faster bonus, the easiest level to earn it on is level 2.8 where the Work Faster bonus only requires approx 10% of your bonus bar and the Stop Time bonus only requires approx 20% of the bonus bar.

Level 2.8, Persistence Achievement.

Other possible candidate levels for this bonus are levels 3.5, 3.6, 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 4.4, 4.7 and 5.8.

For this achievement you need to have two different bonuses (stop time, work faster, run faster, extra servant etc) active at the same time. Again, there are numerous opportunity to earn this and it will likely be earned through natural progression.

The easiest and most likely level to earn this achievement on is level 2.3, just let the blue bonus bar fill up half way then enable extra resources bonus and then the work faster bonus before the extra resources bonus expires.

Level 2.3, Double Bonus Achievement.

Other possible candidate levels for this bonus are levels 3.6, 3.9, 3.10 and 4.7.

The first question to ask with this achievement is... what constitutes an obstacle?

Well, I earned this achievement through natural progression on level 2.3, after I had enabled the Work Faster bonus I did the following...

1. Filled a "Pit" (Clicked on it before enabling the Work Faster bonus).
2. Built an "Obelisk".
3. Cleared a pile of "Sand".
3. Collected some "Food" from a bush.
4. Collected some "Food" from another bush.
5. Cleared a "Blocked Road" (small stones and wood planks).
6. Mined some "Gold".
7. Clicked on a "Titans Tooth" and as soon as I clicked the tooth the achievement popped.

Level 2.3, Road Worker Achievement.

This achievement will be earned through natural progression on level 2.9 where you have to mine/farm 180 gold to complete the level.

Level 2.9, Croesus Achievement.

Unless I am mistaken, there are only two levels with 3 obelisks to build, level 2.9 and 5.9. If you do not earn this achievement as part of you natural progression just load up either one of these levels and make sure to build all three obelisks to earn the achievement.

Level 2.9, Triple Worship Achievement.

To earn this achievement simply complete a level (with the exception of level 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4) without using any bonuses (stop time, work faster, run faster, extra servant etc).

If you do not earn this as part of your natural progression, look at the levels you have completed and pick one that you completed quickest and replay without using bonuses, I earned it on level 2.3 with a 3 gold star score and a time bonus of 39 seconds.

Level 2.3, Strategist Achievement.

To earn a gold time (3 star score) simply complete a level before the timer on the left side of the screen drops below the arrow line, this can be done either playing on Casual or Expert difficulty but not on Relaxed.

The three achievements "First Gold", "The Golden Mean" and "Gold Chain" are earned playing the base levels only (1.1 to 1.10, 2.1 to 2.10, 3.1 to 3.10, 4.1 to 4.10 and 5.1 to 5.10) the bonus levels have their own achievements for earning gold times and they do not count towards the totals for these three achievements.

At the end of this guide I have added video walkthroughs for levels 1.1 to 1.10, 2.1 to 2.10, 3.1 to 3.10, 4.1 to 4.10 and 5.1 to 5.10 with gold times on casual difficulty.

For this achievement you need to activate the run faster bonus after having constructed a Hermes Obelisk.

If you do not earn this achievement as part of your natural progression through the game just load up level 5.3 ensure to build the Hermes Obelisk and then use the Run Faster bonus after constructing it.

To earn this achievement simply collect the five white flower collectables on level 2.5. (Credit to Steam user Arklight for this information).

Level 2.5, Hawk-eyed Achievement.

For this achievement you must complete one level beating a developers score record, for all my hints, tips and video walkthroughs for beating Dev records, to save me repeating myself, please refer to the "Overlord Achievement" notes for all my hints, tips and video walkthroughs.

Unlike the Anti-Theft Speed achievement, to earn the Autolycus achievement you must collect a resource at the time a thief has spawned on the map and is trying to steal it.

This is a bit of a challenge, at least compared to past 12 Labours titles. In previous games on levels where there are thieves, they spawn every so often and go to a farm/sawmill/mine spawn point to try and steal a resource, regardless of if there is a resource to steal, regular as clockwork. In 12 Labours V, thieves will ONLY spawn if there is a resource to steal, in other words you have to bait them, not just outrun them.

There is only one possible level to obtain this achievement and that is level 5.6, and the resource you want to prevent from being stolen is the sawmill wood respawn point closest to the camp.

This achievement is either earned by luck, like I did in my video below, or with the use of some basic math...

From the time the wood spawns to the time the thief appears on the map is 8 seconds.
The time from the thief spawning and stealing the wood is approximately 1 second.
The time from a servant leaving base camp to collecting the wood is approximately 3 seconds.

So to outwit the thief, when the wood spawns count 6 Mississippi's and then send a servant to collect the wood and with a grain or two of luck you should beat him to it.

Level 5.6, Autolycus Achievement.

To unlock the super bonus level you must first complete bonus levels 1.11, 2.11, 3.11, 4.11 and 5.11, then simply complete the super bonus level (6.11) on casual difficulty (or expert if you fancy a challenge) with a 3 star score and the achievement is yours.

Super Bonus Level 6.11

When you collect all of the puzzle pieces on levels 1.1 through 1.10 the jigsaw puzzle "My Pet" is unlocked, when you complete this, bonus level 1.11 is unlocked.

When you collect all of the puzzle pieces on levels 2.1 through 2.10 the jigsaw puzzle "Happy Together" is unlocked, when you complete this, bonus level 2.11 is unlocked.

When you collect all of the puzzle pieces on levels 3.1 through 3.10 the jigsaw puzzle "Hungry Midas" is unlocked, when you complete this, bonus level 3.11 is unlocked.

When you collect all of the puzzle pieces on levels 4.1 through 4.10 the jigsaw puzzle "Dexterous Codrus" is unlocked, when you complete this, bonus level 4.11 is unlocked.

When you collect all of the puzzle pieces on levels 5.1 through 5.10 the jigsaw puzzle "Golem At Work" is unlocked, when you complete this, bonus level 5.11 is unlocked.

Despite the fact the achievement notes clearly state that this will pop when you "complete four bonus levels in gold time" for me it popped at the end of my 5th (levels 1.11, 2.11, 3.11, 4.11 and 5.11).

This achievement can be earned playing on casual or expert difficulty (not on relaxed) but you must earn a 3 gold star score for each of the bonus levels and sadly I do not know if level 6.11 counts towards this total as I earned the achievement before unlocking this level.

To earn this achievement you must play and complete a level without having so much as a single resource stolen by a thief and the only candidate level for this is level 4.4.

If you manage to get this during natural progression and still earn a 3 star gold score for your trouble, kudos, for the rest of us it might require a second playthrough after obtaining a 3 star gold score.

If you have to play the level a second time around to earn this achievement just focus on harvesting the resources from the 2 farms, 2 gold mines and sole sawmill respawn points. Once a resource spawns on one of the building respawn points you have just 8 seconds to collect it before a thief spawns on the edge of the map to come and steal it.

The best advice I can offer is, as soon as you have collected a resource from one of these spawn points, click the spawn point straight away to queue it up for when the resource spawns again, focus on these resources and only when you find you have a servant idle, use them to clear a resource or other obstruction from the path and as long as you complete the level before the timer expires and without having a resource stolen the achievement will pop.

Level 4.4, Anti-theft Speed Achievement.

This is by far and away the hardest achievement in 12 Labours of Hercules V: Kids of Hellas and it is harder than any achievement in the series up to the 5th instalment. In 12 Labours of Hercules 1, 2, 3 and 4 to obtain the Overlord achievement while it stated you must beat 10 Dev records the achievement always popped after earning just 5, in 12 Labours of Hercules V you genuinely do have to beat 10 records.

First some tips on beating the Devs scores...
1. Play on expert difficulty, it is possible to beat one or two of the Dev's scores on casual difficulty, but it is easier on expert.
2. Don't build what you can do without, do you really need to upgrade that farm or sawmill past level 1 ?, do you need it at all ?
3. The same applies to obelisks, look at the level completion time for your casual playthorugh, if the level took 3 minutes or less you can probably forego building it/them, if its a longer level (5+ mins) then one or two may be beneficial.
4. Learn the resource requirements for harvesting so that you only spend time farming what you need and remember you don't have to collect everything on the map to clear a level, look at the completion requirements and focus on those.
5. Stack your commands, if you are following a linear path, don't just click the first resource on the road, click the one behind it as well, and then the next and the next, don't sit waiting for servants to become freed up, this can save vital seconds.
6. When your cursor is idle click the birds that fly across the map (they enter from the top and bottom of the map and when you click one another spawns almost instantly), each one offers 5 additional points, and don't forget any collectables as well.

Candidate levels...
General consensus is that levels 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 1.10, 2.3, 2.6 and 5.5 are the easiest levels to beat the Dev's score, for my playthrough I found 1.7 and 5.5 a little too hard but completed the achievement with the following levels...
