Dota 10v10 AI Wars

描述
10v10 Dota with bots and extra game play options.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Features:

- Set Radiant / Dire Gold and EXP multipliers

- Set number of players on each side

- Set respawn time percentage

- Set max level (above 25)

- Set tower power level

- Set buildings health armor and health regen levels

- Universal shop

- Super fast, invulnerable courier

Item changes:

- Moon Shard: Consumed Moon Shards stack

- Aghanim's Regalia: Upgraded Aghanim's Scepter that can be consumed

- Boots of Travel: Custom version, can teleport anywhere on map

- Wings of Haste: New consumable item that grants permanent 130 movement speed

Heroes:

- Bulldozer: Buff to all melee heroes granting 70% base status resist

To Run Offline:

Download GCFScape from here: http://nemstools.github.io/files/gcfscape186.zip

Extract the gcfscape186.zip archive and run "GCFScape.exe". Open a file in GCFScape, navigate to your Steam directory where Dota 2 is installed, go to steamapps\workshop\content\570\1328030707. Open the file "1328030707.vpk".

Now with the mod archive open in GCFScape, open your file browser and navigate to steamapps\common\dota 2\game\dota_addons. In GCFScape, drag and drop the "root" folder into the "dota_addons" folder open in your file browser. In your file browser, rename the extracted "root" folder to "ai_wars".

Launch Dota 2 and run this command from the console:

dota_launch_custom_game ai_wars dota

If you don't know how to use the console, first make sure to enable it in the options under Options -> Advanced Options -> Enable console. Then open the console with the console key (default '\'), paste in the above command and press enter. Press the console key again to close the console window.

Thanks for following up. I've played both, and liked yours a lot better, as it was less bloated with extreme deviations from "normal" DOTA. But I'll make due with Windy for now, and check back over time. Whether you do, or don't, get around to fixing this crash issue, thanks for all the hours of fun solo play. :)

Oh hey Squishface. I have not tested this mod in some time. I may update it one day, but don't get your hopes up for anything soon. I would recommend you try a derivative mod called "10v10 AI custom by Windy". It was based on my mod, with a lot changes now built on top.

2/9/24 Update to Dota2 broke this mod. When attempting to create a game, the following error appears:

"Unable to load layout file 'file://{resources}/layout/custom_game/custom_ui_manifest.xml'. The addon you're running may reference a non existing file.

Bots dont even buy items, kinda makes the mod no fun

Hey Defcat, I haven't found the time to try to get this mod working properly again. The main issue is the bots do not buy items, after valve updated the tutorial bot code (this mod uses the tutorial bots). I think I would need to add my own system for the bots to buy items. I recommend trying "10v10 AI custom by Windy" as an alternative for now, as it appears to be based on my mod, and has a lot of the same options and gameplay.
