Battle for Middle Earth - Remastered

A polished, updated, rebalanced version of the original map by StriKeR of the same name. This map can be played from 1v1 to 4v4 with fully functional AI

Improvments include
- Better Spawn Placements with Large Scale Battles in Mind
- Vastly Improved Texture Blending to Make the Map Look More Immersive
- Hand-Drawn, Realistic Passability Boundries So Units Can't Walk Across Mountains As If They Were Small Hills
- Reduced The Number of Buildings In Minas Tirith To Boost Performance While Still Keeping The City Feel To It
- Rebalanced The Terrain of The Map So Both Sides Are Equal and Not Lopsided
- Adjusted the Amount of Gold Mines To Make Both Sides Equal
- Made some Objects Unable to be Destroyed Where It Made Sense (Barad Dur for Example)
- Removed Objects That Weren't Even Visible But Were On The Map, Further Increasing Performance
- Added Scenery and SFX in Areas That Were Previously Bland, Increasing Immersion
- Moved 3 of the 4 "Gondorian" Spawns So They Are Actually Within Minas Tirith, Making It Feel Like The Actual Capital Gondor, Especially Late Game
- And Many More Small Improvements


The battles can get fairly large on this map, especially with 4v4 (just look at my minimap in some of the screenshots). Pelanor Fields acts as the main battleground for most of the confrontations you'll face, however there are multiple ways to attack the opposing side, sometimes resulting in having to fight on multiple fronts, adding to the fun of the map.
