Comparison by Screenshots of First SC UEF Mission in Co-Op

The following screenshot shows the FAF lobby when starting a campaign mission in co-op. As it can be seen, it's possible to do the mission in solo mode. There are some little drawbacks:
  • Spoiler by the map preview (no suprises by "operation area expanded").
  • No inter-mission/briefing videos because every mission is started on it's own. The in-mission videos are present (see screenshots below).
  • No save-games.

In SC the range indicator rings were very thick which can be seen on the first screenshots below. I could resolve that by cycling through the UI layouts with the key combination Alt+UpArrow. See also the the UI layout screenshots.

The range indicator rings of SC and FA are distracting on close-up and if there are many units on the screen. In FA one can enable the ranges selectively, e. g. direct fire, indirect fire, air defense and vision.

On very high zoom these rings hover in SC. In FA one can see the rings being on the ground. On the FA screenshot is also visible that one can hide every single UI element by it's own (see the little triangles) in contrast to SC where one just can cycle through 4 different UI layouts.

In SC one can cycle through 4 UI layouts using either the key combination Alt+UpArrow or Alt+DownArrow. When using the last layout without bars, one is forced to 'Cartographic' mode of the mini map.

Yes, I'm talking google translator, I'm from Brazil.
It really has 4 options including a transparent as good as the FA, I believe was the one they chose for FA.
This is current I use to play, extremely same as the FA:

Thanks for your comment. I had to read it a few times to get what you mean ;P . It is possible to cycle through 4 different UI interface layouts using the key combination Alt+Up arrow. I wasn't aware of that because Steam doesn't include the pdf manual of SC. My SC:FA retail DVD version included one and I event printed the key combinations page out - maybe I am to old school :D .

In the SC game, if you press alt + up arrow or down arrow, left arrow or right toggle menu there is a lot better than the one you placed.
