Beskrivelse
Westminster Abbey is a large church located in the city of Westminster which is in turn within London in the United Kingdom. The site has been home to a religious building for well over a millenium, although construction on the current church was only begun during the reign of Henry III in 1245, partially as a site for his burial. Since the completion of the church it has been the burial site for many monarchs and notable people of England, to the extent that the South Transept is also known as Poet's Corner. It also features memorials to several more prominent figures, such as William Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde, as well as being the location for Royal Weddings, coronations and funerals, among other things. Ingame, Westminster Abbey provides +2 Culture for every Social Policy tree adopted, and a further +4 for every completed tree, while it requires Chivalry.

Requires the Gods & Kings expansion pack, and credit to Co-authors Sukritact for the icon and Chris Sifniotis for the Civilopedia.

Hi, do you plan to update this for BNW? As it stands right now, the new Aesthetics and Exploration policy trees were not yet covered by the Wonder effect, while the Freedom, Order and Autocracy policy tags do not apply to BNW anymore.

Huge fan of your mods and looking forward to your new creations. Cheers!

@Pouakai As to giving culture, there is no easy way, but you could still give gold (as in the mausoleom) with the tag "GreatPersonExpendGold", which will work in vanilla/gods and kings. Also, you could make artist specialists provide one extra culture. Thanks for all the time you've put into this

@Josie: Yeah, I think I'll release a new version soon that updates the base Culture to faith.
@Gandalf: I looked into giving it culture when a GP is expended, but it appears there's no easy way to do that so I had to give it this effect
@Bafko Biggins: That sounds too overpowered

The mod seems good, however you could add more features that the church gives, such as units.

This looks like a good mod, but I feel like it would be better for you to focus on bonueses for Great People/Specialists (eg. gain x amount of culture when a great person is expended), great artists provide extra culture.

Very well made, though it should really boost faith instead of/as well as culture.

depends when you are talking about westminster was, when it first started out it was a seperate city to begin with then it grew & enclosed the city of London which since then people referred to it as London & westminster as one & the samething because of the borough being change we refer to westminster as Greater London but the city of London is the old Roman fort settlement which has its own poem or catchy phrase to it, so no it is not in The City Of London because of the ancient history to it & The City Of London has it's own ridiculus rules associated with it so it can't be technically considered part of this country the UK rather a seperate country in it's own right because of the rules that imply their.
