  • Civil War factions

Each faction has three achievements each and none of the factions conflict with each other's quests (in theory).
~The Companions - Achievements~

-Take Up Arms:

"Join the Thieves Guild"

Complete the quest A Chance Arrangement, started by entering Riften and talking to Brynjolf. Complete this and the follow-up quest Taking Care of Business for the achievement.

-Darkness Returns:
"Complete "Darkness Returns"

For this achievement, progress the Thieves guild quest line until you reach the quest Darkness Returns, proceeded by the quest Blindsighted. Complete the quest for the achievement.

-One with the Shadows:
"Returned the Thieves Guild to its former glory"

This is one of the most time-consuming achievements in Skyrim. For this achievement, you have to first complete the Thieves Guild quest line and then complete Thieves Guild Radiant jobs given by Delvin and Vex. Do these until you have done 5 of these jobs for each of the following cities:
  • Markarth
  • Windhelm
  • Solitude
  • Whiterun

The best method for this is to get this achievement is to get as many jobs as possible from Vex and Delvin - seven in total - but quit any of the jobs if they are at a location where you no longer need to go (e.g. if you have done all the Whiterun jobs needed, quit any jobs for Whiterun if you pick up anymore)

After completing five for a location you need, each location will unlock a new special quest for that location. Complete all 4 of these quests and you will unlock the achievement.

~The Dark Brotherhood - Achievements~

-With Friends Like These...:
"Join the Dark Brotherhood"

Complete the quest Innocence Lost, started either by talking to Innkeepers about the latest rumors and then investigating or pick the lock to the Aretino Residence, in Windhelm, and talk to Aventus. Complete this and the follow-up quest With Friends Like These... for the achievement.

-Bound Until Death:
"Complete "Bound Until Death"

Continue with the Dark Brotherhood questline until you get the quest Bound Until Death, proceeded by the quest The Silence Has Been Broken. Complete for the achievement.

-Hail Sithis!:
"Complete "Hail Sithis!"

Complete the quest Hail Sithis! - the final quest in the Dark Brotherhood questline. It is preceded by the quest Death Incarnate. Completing the quest will grant the achievement.

~The Storm Cloaks/The Imperials - (Civil War) Achievements~

-Taking Sides:
"Join the Stormcloaks or the Imperial Army"

This achievement is rewarded for either completing the quest Joining the Stormcloaks or the quest Joining the Legion.

Joining the Legion can be started by traveling to Solitude and go to Castle Dour and speak to General Tullius.

Joining the Stormcloaks can be started by going to Windhelm and entering the palace to talk to Ulfric Stormcloak.

-War Hero:
"Capture Fort Sungard or Fort Greenwall"

Continue with the Civil War questline (for whichever faction you chose) until you get the quest The Battle for Fort Sungard or The Battle for Fort Greenwall. Which quest you do depends on your choices in the story quest, Season Unending. Complete either quest for the achievement.

-Hero of Skyrim:
"Capture Solitude or Windhelm"

The final quest for the Legion will be called the Battle for Windhelm and for the Stormcloaks will be called the Battle for Solitude. Complete whichever quest is appropriate for your faction at the end of the Civil War questline for the achievement.

~~Leveling Achievements~~
The following achievements are very simple and I won't do any explaining because none is needed. Just get your character to those levels required for the achievement.

-Apprentice:
"Reach Level 5"

-Adept:
"Reach Level 10"

-Expert:
"Reach Level 25"

-Master:
"Reach Level 50"
~~Daedric Quest Achievements~~

-Daedric Influence:
"Acquire a Daedric Artifact"

Complete one of the 15 Daedric artifact quests to unlock this achievement. Please refer to Oblivion Walker achievement for more information.

-Oblivion Walker:
"Collect 15 Daedric Artifacts"

This achievement requires all 15 Daedric quests to be completed and obtaining all the 15 artifacts from those quests some of which are missable!

Spellbreaker
"The Only Cure"
No
Volendrung
"The Cursed Tribe"

Notes:
  • Only 7 are missable.

  • Although there are 17 Daedric artifacts in the game, two are technically mutually exclusive (The Ring of Hircine and The Savior's Hide), and one does not count towards the achievement (The Skeleton Key). Therefore, not a single artifact can be missed in order to earn this achievement.

  • If the opportunity to obtain one is wasted, one should reload immediately.

  • A common misconception: The Rueful Axe, which can be obtained during the quest "A Daedra's Best Friend," does not count towards the achievements Daedric Influence and Oblivion Walker.

  • They do not all need to be in the inventory, or even in possession, one just needs to have finished the requisite quests and obtained the items at some point.

How to not miss the missable artifacts:
  • Masque of Clavicus Vile from the quest "A Daedra's Best Friend" is only obtained if you decided to let Barbas live.

  • Mehrunes' Razor from the quest "Pieces of the Past" is only obtained if Silus Vesuius is killed.

  • Ring of Hircine and Savior's Hide from the quest "Ill Met by Moonlight" Killing Sinding prior to the quest while he is in his Beast Form will not let you begin the quest.

  • Skull of Corruption from the quest "Waking Nightmare" is only obtained if Erandur is killed.

  • Ring of Namira from the quest "The Taste of Death" is only obtained if Eola is cooperated with.

  • Volendrung from the quest "The Cursed Tribe" is only obtained if you do not attack any of the Orcs in Largashbur (unless out of self-defense).

  • Mace of Molag Bal from the quest "The House of Horrors" can only be obtained if you obey Molag Bal and let Logrolf the Willful go to Markarth, and get trapped by Molag Bal, instead of straight out killing him.

~~Side Quest & Misc. Objective Achievements~~

-Sideways:
"Complete 10 side quests"

For this achievement just complete 10 optional side quests. Quests that do not count include any Story, Faction, Misc Objectives or Daedric quests.

In your journal, they will be marked like the above and below symbol either side of the quest name. Other quests (like factions) will have different symbols, which have been included in the guide with those factions achievements.

There are lots of side quests so just explore and find some and complete 10 for the achievement. Progress can be checked from the pause screen stats page.

-Hero of the People:
"Complete 50 Misc Objectives"

For this achievement just complete 50 optional Miscellaneous quests. These quests are abundant in Skyrim, and are almost always one stage quests, like giving someone a lost item or slaying a beast at a location etc. Miscellaneous quests can be found at the bottom of your quest log in your journal, all under one tab.

One of the easiest ways to get this is to do bounty quests (these count as Misc quests). These can be got from Jarls, Innkeepers, and Stewards if you ask them for work. These are simple kill 'X' quests and mostly will count as 2 Misc quests each as it will be killing the creature or bandit and then going to retrieve your reward as the second objective.

I would only recommend doing this if you're struggling to find enough Misc objectives because you will most likely complete a lot over a playthrough.
~~Standing Stone Achievements~~
-Blessed:
"Select a Standing Stone blessing"

Standing Stones are upright magical stones located throughout Skyrim. Their map icon is basically the same as the achievement picture, the easiest one that most players will reach are the ones just outside Riverwood (the first village). Go up to a Standing Stone and interact to get the achievement.

Most players will get this on the way to Riverwood.

-Standing Stones:
"Find 13 Standing Stones"

13 is the total in the game, and you must discover all for this achievement. You do not have to interact with the stone but just discover it (like for fast travel).

Standing Stone
Location
The Apprentice Stone
Northwest of Morthal.
The Atronach Stone
Between Windhelm and Riften.
The Lady Stone
A small island in Lake Ilinalta, west of Riverwood.
The Lord Stone
East of Morthal, on top of the mountain.
The Lover Stone
East of Markarth, north of Kolskeggr Mine.
The Mage Stone**
The Guardian Stones, southwest of Riverwood.
The Ritual Stone
East of Whiterun.
The Serpent Stone
On an island north of Windhelm and east of Winterhold.
The Shadow Stone
A small mountain range south of Riften.
The Steed Stone
West-northwest of Solitude, directly north of Statue to Meridia.
The Thief Stone**
The Guardian Stones, southwest of Riverwood.
The Tower Stone
Halfway between Winterhold and Dawnstar, at the top of the cliff.
The Warrior Stone**
The Guardian Stones, southwest of Riverwood.

**These stones are all one map location but do count as three separate stones for the achievement.

~~Misc. Achievements~~
-Hard Worker:
"Chop wood, mine ore, and cook food"

These three tasks are relatively easy to complete. Chopping Firewood requires an axe and a wood chopping block. Mining ore requires a pickaxe and any ore veins found scattered across Skyrim or in a Mine. Cooking food requires a pot or pit and food and/or ingredients. Complete these three simple tasks for the achievement.

-Thief:
"Pick 50 locks and 50 pockets"

Now for most players, the picking 50 locks will just come over the course of the game and not prove challenging. However, the picking 50 pockets may be less likely for most players to obtain by playing the game unless your focused on sneak and thief build. This doesn't mean you cannot get this achievement with a little bit of effort though!

Just sneak up behind people in a city and use quicksave and quick load a lot. Quicksave, pickpocket an item, leave the inventory, quicksave, and then carry on and if caught, quick load. You can check both stats in your Journal.

-Snake Tongue:
"Successfully persuade, bribe, and intimidate"

This achievement is fairly easy as these options will appear throughout the game fairly regularly in quests. These are dialogue options in conversation that you can choose (it will say whether it is one of these three you need).

Persuade is easier the higher your speech level but you don't need a high speech level for this achievement really. Bribing involves giving money to someone to make them talk and intimidate is the final option which also is easier with higher speech. Do all three once and the achievement is yours.

The Foresworn Conspiracy Side Quest in the hold of Markarth is a good quest to get this achievement. Persuade the innkeeper, intimidate the guy in the slums, and bribe the secretary in the Treasury. But you can basically get this by playing the game.

-Citizen:
"Buy a house"

The easiest house to obtain for this achievement is Breezehome in Whiterun. After the quest Bleak Falls Barrow (story quest) you can purchase the house from the Jarls steward - Proventus Avenicci. It will cost 5000 gold and the achievement will unlock upon purchasing. If you do not want the house or can only just afford it, you can save, buy it and get the achievement then load back up the old save.

Houses that count include:
  • Hjerim - Windhelm
  • Honeyside - Riften
  • Proudspire Manor - Solitude
  • Vlindrel Hall - Markarth
  • Breezehome - Whiterun

-Wanted:
"Escape from jail"

This is really easy! Save game. Hit a guard, in Whiterun, with a weapon and get him to attack, then sheath your weapons and choose the dialogue option, take me to jail or whatever. Then escape by lockpicking certain doors and escaping back into the city. Once the achievement is yours reload. Simple.

-Married:
"Get married"

Firstly, to marry in Skyrim you will need to buy or obtain an amulet of Mara as this is what gives you the dialogue options for marriage when worn. An Amulet of Mara can be bought from a priest named Maramal for 200 Gold in Riften (often in the Temple of Mara or The Bee and Bard Inn). They can also be got from random loot etc.

While wearing the amulet talk to your desired partner (race nor gender matter) and propose through the new dialogue options. Then speak to Maramal at Riften and organize the wedding and proceed for the achievement.

Note: Some partners will require their quests or misc objectives to be complete before being able to marry them.

-Artificer:
"Make a smithed item, an enchanted item, and a potion"

Another simple achievement. Just use a blacksmiths forge to make any item - iron dagger is cheap although you will probably craft lots in the game anyway. You can then head to an enchanting table with that crafted item or any other one and enchant it using a full soul gem. Any enchantment works. Then use a potion table to make any potion!

This is all simple crafting really and will likely be obtained by playing. Raw materials can be bought from vendors.

-Master Criminal:
"Bounty of 1000 gold in all nine holds"

Make a hard save first! (If you don't want everyone killing on site). Kill a guard in front of witnesses, this will give an automatic 1000 bounty. The easiest strategy here is to kill a guard, flee and fast travel to another hold. Do this for all nine holds and the achievement is yours!

-Golden Touch:
"Have 100,000 gold"

As long as you pick up expensive items and sell them regularly, as well as picking up lots of gold during the game you should have no problem getting this. It may take a while of scavenging but it is fairly straightforward. You do have to have 100,000 gold in your inventory, not over the course of the game.
~~Misc. Achievements Continued~~
-Delver:
"Clear 50 dungeons"

Kill all the enemies in 50 dungeons for this achievement. Once a dungeon is cleared, a note will appear on the map under the name of the dungeon, stating that it has been cleared. You can also follow the amount of cleared dungeons in the Character Menu, in section Stats under General.

Dungeon types:
  • Camps

  • Caves

  • Dragon Peaks

  • Dwarven Ruins

  • Forts

  • Giant Camps

  • Nord Tombs

  • Towers

-Skill Master:
"Get a skill to 100"

This will likely come with natural progression by using a similar type of weapon or spell etc. This will be needed for later achievements as well so if your going for all achievements don't worry about this one, it will come eventually. However, you can grind this achievement by crafting lots of iron daggers or casting cheap spells of the same variety etc. Up to you whether you want to farm this achievement or not.

-Explorer:
"Discover 100 Locations"

Very simple and self-explanatory achievement. Just discover 100 locations in Skyrim.

-Reader:
"Read 50 Skill Books"

There are five different books for each of the 18 skills, 90 in total. You only have to track down 50 of these and open them and get the skill level up from them. You can check how many you have read from your Stats page.

If your struggling to find these books check out this link of all 90 and their various locations:

Book locations[en.uesp.net]

-Dragon Soul:
"Absorb a Dragon Soul"

This achievement is basically story and thus unmissable.

-Dragon Hunter:
"Absorb 20 dragon souls"

There is plentiful opertunity for this achievement. Kill and absorb the souls of 20 dragons throughout the game. Dragon encounters are random, with some story ones and also dragons spawing at Dragon Peaks.

-Words of Power:
"Learn all three words of a shout"

If you don't do much story, Shearpoint is a Dragon Peak that has 3 shouts unlocked from one wall. (Throw Voice Shout). It is located Northeast of Whiterun and directly north of Fellglow Keep. In the story, you will unlock multiple shouts to the level 3 tier as well. Spend three dragon souls on a shout to get it to tier 3 after unlocking the words or power and then the achievement is yours.

-Thu'um Master:
"Learn 20 shouts"

There are only 20 shouts in the game if you do not play the DLC so either get all 20 shouts or some of them with some DLC shouts (I assume these count too). You will also need 20 dragon souls for this.

Below is all the base game dragon shouts and location names:

  • Animal Allegiance* - located at Angarvude, Ancient's Ascent and Ysgramor's Tomb.

  • Aura Whisper - located at Northwind Summit, Valthume and Volunruud.

  • Become Ethereal - located at Ironbind Barrow, Lost Valley Redoubt and Ustengrav.

  • Call Dragon - All three words are leaned during the quest The Fallen.

  • Call of Valor - All three words are learned during the quest Dragonslayer.

  • Clear Skies - All three words are learned during the quest The Throat of the World.

  • Disarm - located at Eldersblood Peak, Silverdrift Lair and Snow Veil Sanctum.

  • Dismay - located at Dead Crone Rock, Labyrinthian and Lost Tongue Overlook.

  • Dragonrend - All three words are leaned during the quest Alduin's Bane.

  • Elemental Fury - located at Dragontooth Crater, Statue to Meridia and Shriekwind Bastion.

  • Fire Breath - located at Dustman's Cairn and Sunderstone Gorge. One is story.

  • Frost Breath - located at Bonestrewn Crest, Skyborn Altar and Folgunthur.

  • Ice Form - located at Frostmere Crypt, Mount Anthor and Saarthal.

  • Kyne's Peace - located at Ragnvald, Rannveig's Fast and Shroud Hearth Barrow.

  • Marked for Death** - located at Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, Autumnwatch Tower and Forsaken Cave.

  • Slow Time*** - located at Hag's End, Korvanjund and Labyrinthian.

  • Storm Call**** - located at Forelhost, High Gate Ruins and Skuldafn.

  • Throw Voice - located at Shearpoint.

  • Unrelenting Force - located at Bleak Falls Barrow, the rest is story related.

  • Whirlwind Sprint - located at Dead Man's Respite and Volskygge. The other one is story related.

*Companion questline needed.

**Dark Brotherhood questline needed.

***Requires Civil War questline.

****Story progression required. Skuldafn shout can be found during the The World-Eater’s Eyrie quest.
~~Dawnguard DLC Achievements~~
-Awakening:
"Complete "Awakening"

Complete one of the DLC's starting quest, Awakening for this achievement.

-Beyond Death:
"Complete "Beyond Death"

Complete the story quest Beyond Death, preceded by the quest Chasing Echoes, for this achievement.

-Kindred Judgement:
"Complete "Kindred Judgement"

Complete the story quest Kindred Judgement, preceded by the quest Touching the Sky, for this achievement.

-Lost to the Ages:
"Complete "Lost to the Ages"

This is a sidequest from the DLC. There are 2 ways to trigger it. You can find a book called The Aetherium Wars or you can go to Arkngthamz and you can meet up with Katria's ghost to activate the quest.

This is a very lengthy side quest. Just complete for the achievement.

''The Aetherium Wars'' can be found:
  • Dawnguard fort
  • Castle Volkihar Undercroft
  • Bard's College, Solitude
  • Hall of the Vigilant
  • Ruunvald Temple

-Soul Tear:
"Learn all three words of Soul Tear"

After the quest Beyond Death you will unlock the first part of this shout. Unlock it with a dragon soul and then use the shout by pointing at the ground in a flat area. Once the dragon arrives he will teach you the next word to the shout. Unlock it and use the shout again and he will teach you the final word. Unlock this for the achievement.

-Auriel's Bow:
"Use the special power of Auriel's Bow"

The earliest this is available is after you finish the quest Touching the Sky. You can do this on the balcony in which you claim the bow. Since the the bow comes with 12 sunhallowed just shoot 1 sunhallowed arrow directly into the sun. Then the achievement is yours.

-Werewolf Mastered:
"Acquire 11 werewolf perks"

Basically just grind this achievement by eating corpses and playing as a werewolf. This can be a lengthy grind.

To become a werewolf you need to play through the companions guild from the main game for a little way. If you are already a werewolf when the DLC is installed then you can grind out this achievement before starting either questline if you wish.

If you lose lycanthropsy by becoming a vampire lord you can go back to Aela the Huntress ONCE to get it back. If you lose it again you will need to revert back to a save in which you are a werewolf.

When picking your werewolf perks for the werewolf tree do the right branch first as it has has Savage Feeding which feed off more than dead humans. Allows for feeding off dead animals like bears, horses and wolfs. This decreases the amount of time between feeding and gives you more things to gain experience off of.

The Ring of Hircine may also be useful to reduce grinding.

-Vampire Mastered:
"Acquire 11 vampire perks"

Basically just grind this achievement by playing as a Vampire Lord. This can be a lengthy grind.

First chance you get to become a Vampire Lord is after the quest Awakening. When you take Serana to her father Harkon. Harkon will offer you the gift of becoming a Vampire Lord. If you take the Dawnguard route instead Serana has the ability to make you a vampire lord instead. She can change you infinitely.

-A New You:
"Change your face"

Go to the Ragged Flagon in Riften and talk to Galathil and pay her 1,000 Gold. You don't even have to actually to change anything as the achievement pops right away.

-Legend:
"Defeat a Legendary Dragon"

This achievement will also require a lot of grinding as you have to be level 78+ for Legendary dragons to spawn in the game. When you are level 78 or higher go to different dragon peaks and try to find a Legendary dragon and kill it. After you kill it the achievement will pop.

Legendary dragons spawned in with console commands will not count to the achievement.
~~Dragonborn DLC Achievements~~

"Complete ''The Temple of Miraak''

The final shout can be found in Apocrypha during the final story mission before fighting Miraak.

-Hidden Knowledge:
"Learn the secrets of 5 Black Books"

There are a total of 7 Black books to be found throughout Solstheim. 2 of these are found during the main storyline and are therefore unmissable. The first of these is found in the Temple of Miraak during the mission The Temple of Miraak. The second one is found during the mission The Path of Knowledge, at the end of the Dwemer ruin Nchardak.

There then exists 5 more throughout Solstheim, but you will only need 3 more for the achievement.

Their location follow below:
  • Kolbjorn Barrow - at the end of the side quest Unearthed
  • Tel Mithryn - after finishing several sidequests for Neloth, he'll give you a key to the room containing the book
  • White Ridge Barrow
  • Raven Rock Mine - the side quest The Final Descent is needed
  • Benkongerike

Read five of them and progress to the end of the book and claim the reward for the achievement.

-Stalhrim Crafter:
"Craft an item out of Stalhrim"

To craft weapons and armor with this material you must first be able to mine it (or buy it), then be able to craft it.

To mine Stalhrim, you will need an ancient nordic pickaxe, that you can acquire from the Raven Rock blacksmith, Glover Mallory.

To be able to craft Stalhrim weapons and armor you will need to be taught how to do it by the Skaal village blacksmith named, Baldor Iron-Shaper.

Before you go looking for him, you must first finish a quest in Skaal village from the town leader, Fanari Strong-Voice, who will task you with taking out a bandit leader. After you have completed this, ask around town until someone tells you about the blacksmith who has gone missing. This will then activate a mission for you to go and rescue him from his kidnappers who are trying to get his secrets to crafting with Stalhrim.

When you have rescued him, he will ask you to go and retrieve a map from a newly arrived Thalmor leader. After you retrieve this map and take it back to Baldor Iron-Shaper, he will finally share his secrets to crafting Stalhrim, allowing you to create Stalhrim weapons and armor.

As soon as you create your first item the achievement will unlock.

Note: You will need to have at least a level 80 in Blacksmithing and the perk to be able to craft Ebony to be able to craft with Stalhrim.

-Dragon Rider:
"Tame and ride 5 dragons"

During the story of this DLC, you will learn a new shout called Bend will. You must then use this shout at its full power on any dragon that you may encounter. The dragon will then land allowing you to mount it by walking up to it and interacting. When you have mounted the dragon, it will proceed to take off and fly in its own fashion. Dismount the dragon at any time and the dragon will find a suitable place to land for you to dismount. Repeat this 4 more times and the achievement is yours.

You first get the oppurtunity to do this in the final story mission At the Summit of Apocrypha and the dragon you use does count towards the achievement. A good way to do this is to fast travel to any dragon shrine locations you may have discovered and use your Bend Will shout on any dragon that may be present.

This can also be obtained whilst in the original Skyrim world, as well as in Solstheim.

-Raven Rock Owner:
"Own a house in Raven Rock"

For the house you will need to complete 3 side quests, then you get the house (and achievement) for free!

The first quest is called March of the Dead and is acquired from the town Guards captain, Captain Veleth, just outside and south of Raven Rock at a location called Old Attius Farm.

The second required quest is The Final Descent which will also lead to the required third quest, Served Cold. Completing these side quests will grant the achievement.

-Solstheim Explorer:
"Discover 30 locations on the island of Solstheim"

Very simple and self-explanatory achievement. Just discover 30 locations on Solstheim.
~~Hearthfire DLC Achievements~~
-Proud Parent:
"Adopt a child"

To be eligible to adopt a child, you must acquire either a house with a child's bedroom or a homestead furnished with a bed and a chest.

Upon downloading the DLC, a courier will arrive while you are inside a city and deliver you two letters: one advertising the Honorhall Orphanage in Riften and the other informing you that you can now build a children's bedroom to accommodate the child.

Before heading to Riften, make sure you own a home and have built the children's bedroom. If you're adding it to an existing home (pre-DLC) it will replace your alchemical lab and cost 250 Gold (except in Windhelm and Solitude, which will not overwrite the lab but costs 3000 Gold). Otherwise, you'll need to manually put in a child's bed and child's chest at any of the DLC homes.

Now that you have your house and children's room, visit the orphanage and tell Constance Michel that you'd like to adopt. She'll ask you to pick a home, as well as a child, so talk to the one you like afterward and pick them. The achievement will unlock when you accept them.

Alternatively, you can find an orphaned child out in Skyrim and adopt them for the achievement.

-Landowner:
"Buy a plot of land"

There are three new plots available in this DLC at Dawnstar, Falkreath, and Morthal. To purchase the lots, you need to be in good standing with the Jarl of each city (which may require completing quests for their people in that hold) and pay 5000 Gold. Buy a single land plot from a Jarl (or steward) for this achievement.

-Land Baron:
"Buy three plots of land"

Same as above but own the land plots in all three holds. (Dawnstar, Falkreath, and Morthal). This will cost 15000 Gold and you will have to help all three Jarls people in each hold.

-Architect:
"Build three wings on a house"

After buying a land plot, head over to your land plot and build firstly the small house and the large main hall. After this, you will get to pick which wing you want to build on the house. Build it and then proceed to build 2 more on the same house and the achievement is yours. The house does not need to be furnished.

You can get more resources buy asking your steward for that house or heading to mills or general stores etc.

-Master Architect:
"Build three houses"

To satisfy this achievement, you will need to fully build on all three available plots of land and you will need all three available wing additions to the houses and the cellars. Once you have all three houses will all wings and cellars the achievement is yours.

Make sure you have a lot of resources and Gold. It is also recommended getting the stewards set up at each of your houses in this DLC.

Auriel's Bow is possible to miss since you may sell/drop the item after acquiring and therefore permanently lose it for the achievement.

It might be worth putting the missable achievements in a category and right at the top of the guide.

The only potentially 'missable' achievement is the 15 Daedric artifacts but it really is not too bad. All other achievements and quests should not affect one another.

There is no specific order that they need to be done in.

Can I do these achivments in order or will a I have to do certain ones in order to not miss some

Standing Stones seem to be working a little weirdly. I got the achievement before finding all the stones, and now my stats show me I've found 32. Somehow.
It seems to be counting the stones anew when I visit them after relaunching the game?

Reading elsewhere, apparently you can't start the Dark Brotherhood timeline until you actually go to sleep after seeing the Aretino boy. Since I have never slept once in the game, I was wondering why I was not able to start it. Would be good to put a note about that in the description.

Update: YES it is possible to get both the Savior's Hide AND the (non-cursed) Ring of Hircine. Also that was a copy and pasted typo in the note below: it shouldn't say " Sigmund" it should say "Sinding".

What I did: 1) I followed the quest until I met Sinding in the cave. I agreed to help him kill the hunters. After killing them I made a hard save. 2) Then I closed the game and disabled the "Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch". I have no idea if this was necessary, but I read somewhere that the ability to get both was patched by USSEP, so I did disable it. 3) I opened the game and reloaded that save with USSEP off. I then talked to Sinding as the game told me to. I then attacked him to make him mad.

4) I think this is the key point, I ran from him all the way up to the front of the cave so that I was very, very near the entrance but not leaving the cave. I then killed him there and skinned him to get the Savior's Hide. 5) I escaped out of the dialogue as fast as I could (not sure if this was necessary) then I turned and sprinted to the exit of the cave. 6) Upon exiting the cave, the game acted as if I hadn't killed him and Hircine gave me the ring. 7) I verified that both were actually in my inventory. 8) I made another save and closed the game, reenabled USSEP and then reloaded the game and the save and again confirmed they were both there.

Hope that helps someone.

@Zrk, if you used a command to spawn them it won't count. Fast Travel to dragon/shout locations and hope one spawns on it's own. I don't have it yet myself, but it's what i've read about that achievement.
