Now if the characters were imported from KP:MM then their inner type will be determined by what their guilty pleasures were in that game so if you had an Edgy individual whose guilty pleasure was interest rates, then you should be able to have a friend with a secret Chic inner type successfully come out to them even if haven't told you what their secret inner type is in KP:LL.
Granted this may be a one-off glitch, so unless we hear from the developer or more people test it out, we won't know for sure
ie\ If you reveal a secret Edgy side to a Vintage Friend who has a secret Geeky side, then you'll be able to come out successfully. I believe this is true even if your Vintage friend's secret inner type is currently unknown.
