Hacking
So, First things first, you need to know how to hack, if you started a single player you will get an "Ice Breaker" from the start, will allow you to hack the first server right in front of you. If you start for the first time in co-op, you'll get a free hack hit already assigned in the slot for you. You can use any key to use your ice breaker (I like using Mouse 2 / Right click ) and a timer will start counting down on the bottom left. Also, during that time, you will be attacked by these weird creatures that act as a hack defender, like AVG, or any hacking blocking software you use (if you use any). These different defenders are on how they look, The guide for the enemies are here: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1307289368 That's where weapons come to play, You have many variety of weapons to choose from (guide for that is coming soon) If you defeat all enemies then the hack is complete and you will get a reward.
Server Colors and Types
So now you know the basics of hacking, there are different types of servers which can be hacked, shown by colors. Server Color are based on their outline of the server, which determines their enemy spawn along with the industry type. This will be helpful for bounties that requires to hack certain types of servers. This list below shows the industry type and the type of creatures they will spawn.

Red: Their industry is Defense. Powerful but few, enemies will spawn and try to take you down. Be prepared to fight heavy.

Orange: Their industry is Resources. They spawn Webcrawlers, Popups, and Aimbots

Orangish-Yellow: Their industry is Financial. They spawn Webcrawlers and Aimbots. This type hold a very unique drop, and that is straight up cash.

Yellow: Their industry is Manufacturing. They spawn Webcrawlers, Aimbots, and Mor.tar.gz

Green: Their industry is Agribusiness. They spawn Webcrawlers and Aimbots

Teal (Bluish-Green): Their industry is Medical. They spawn Webcrawlers, Popups, Aimbots, Mother of Spiders, and heal.bats

Light Blue: Their industry is Data. They spawn Webcrawlers, GISTfishs, Scorporations, and E-Snails

Dark Blue: Their Industry is Transportation. They spawn Webcrawlers, Scorporations, E-Snails, and charge.bats

Purple: Their industry is Communications. They spawn Webcrawlers, Scorporations, and Aimbots

Pink: Their industry is Services. They spawn in GISTFishs, Aimbots, and Turrets

White: The server has already been hacked, you can read the info if you like.

No color: Their industry is ???. That is a dark server. It does not tell you which color it is (excluding white) and the enemies are invisible (look for the distortion to tell where they are at.)

A server which colors keep changing: Their industry is Transportation. Rainbow servers (what I call them) has the keyword "SWARM" When started, a lot of low health enemies spawn, despite which enemy is. Use explosives or piercing to help you eliminate them.
Server Levels and Shops
Server Levels:

Now you know about servers, You need to know their level. If you look at a server, it will display it's name above and the level beside it. The level can range from 1-unlimited.

You think i'm putting panic on you, I'm not. Overall servers are range from 1-50. If you want to start a new single player game, or a multiplayer grid, then you can change the server's level by your input. For example, If a server has a level of 35, and your input is +50, then the server level is 85. If you look at the border of the level number, it either has a green, yellow, or red. Green means you hacked the exact same level or lower of your highest hack. Yellow means it's a bit higher level than what your highest level hack is. Red means it is several levels above your highest level hacked. If it shows high threat above your cross hair, then it means it is a lot of levels than your highest level hacked. I recommend hacking the shorter levels before beginning to hack those.

Dark servers, on the other hand, do not tell you what level it is. You got to use the other servers as your guide, if the servers are a range of 12-19, then the level might be 12-19.

Shops can allow you to buy and sell various types of weapons and equipment. shops can be shown by a dollar symbol on your crosshair. They refresh every two minutes, so be sure to check it out every now and then. To buy an item, drag an item from shop and put it in your inventory or hotbar. To sell, drag an item from the inventory or hotbar and place it anywhere inside the item menu. You can always buy back a weapon or equipment by hitting the buy back option. All buy backs gives you full refunds. You can also hack these servers and you would get good equipment out of it for free.
Server Abilities and Events
You might come across a server with some "perks". They are Special, but not unique.

When you look at the server, you can see its perks. If it shows you perks, it is applied to ALL enemies and hack zones. There is a list on what you might come by and experience.

  • Explosive: Enemies are programmed to explode when they die.
  • Overclocked: The enemies will be faster and attack more frequently
    • Lava Immune: They're immune to lava.... that's it
    • Regenerating: The enemies will heal back to full health when injured.
    • Fire: Enemies attacks will burn their victims. You can tell servers have fire due to their fire-like outline
    • Ice: Enemies attacks will freeze/slow their victims. Same with fire, they have an ice-like outline on the server.
    • Mines: Enemies will drop mines randomly.
    • Oscillating: The hacking zone grows and shrinks constantly. One moment you might have enough room to do anything. Another moment you might be outside your original zone. Keep that in mind when fighting enemies with this perk.
    • Constricting: The hacker zone shrinks constantly. This makes it so you will pick up the pace against the monsters and finish them off quickly before the zone gets too small that it forces to cancel the hack.
    • Evading: The hacker zone moves around in a circle until the hack is finished or canceled. It is nice to know the layout of the land before starting these servers. Some things to look out for are holes where you can't get back up to stay in the zone, servers or building that can be in your way, Hazards (such as barrels, lava, forts, etc.) It is also nice to try to keep up with the zone until the enemies are defeated. The direction of the zone will change randomly, so be prepared to go in that direction. The best strategy to hack these servers are to stay as close to center as possible.
    • Escalating: As the hack goes on, the enemies gets tougher. So be prepared for the final wave of enemies, which will be the toughest. It will help if your hack speed is quick, so enemies won't spawn in as much.
    • Upgraded: The server has already been made harder to hack. It is easy to tell which one's are upgraded due to the red skull symbol above its server.
    • Encrypted: The server will require you to slay the enemies along with defending the box (A box labeled Defend Me). The enemies will sometimes shift and start attacking the box. If the boxes health reaches zero, then the hack is canceled IMMEDIATELY. You can tell how much health it has by either looking at the box, or looking at the white part of the shield as shown below.
    • Low Gravity: Gravity is reduced and you'll be able to jump higher, along with every enemy and players as well. Have fun! :)
    • Frictionless: You will slide around constantly like you're on black ice (All puns intended), so you really can't stand still. Besides, traction is for nerds anyways.
    • Special: This server is obviously important, so hack it. These servers will change some of the rules to whatever their consent is. Be prepared for ANYTHING.

Sometimes your chat will say "Hostile Takeover! A nearby corp requests help defending itself!" This means two companies are battling each other. If you help them, the losing server will stay normal and the winning one will be hacked, along with their reward. If you don't help them, the losing server will be hacked, no loot will be dropped, and the winning server will get upgraded. A small price to pay in hopes of to not fight upgraded servers.

Sometimes, hacking progress will be considered lockout. You have to destroy the locked out enemy. They will be tougher and have regeneration abilities. Focus fire on them at all costs so enemies will stop spawning, and you can finish up the hack
The Hacker Space, and it's contents
Let's take a break from the servers, because there was a lot to process. The hacker space will contain items and objects you can use to your advantage (or your downfall, your choice :D)

Pickups will help you during your stay in the space. Sometimes random items can be spawned and its levels is based on the area. The list below shows the other types of items you can find, if you're willing to look for it.

XP Balls: Picking them up will give you, well, experience to help you level up. The amount they give you is based on the area and the difficulty level.

Enchancements: Picking them up will result in a temporary upgrade. It could range from damage to penetration. Enchancements will last 120 seconds (2 minutes.)

Heal: Picking them up will heal you... that's it. Sometimes enemies can drop them during battles.

Overheal: Picking them up will restore all of your health and temporary gives you an extra health boost, making it 200% health. However, it is not permanent. It will decrease it's extra boost until your back at 100%. Use it wisely.

Overcharge: Picking this up will give you shorter cool down on all of your weapons and items. It does not grant any extra RAM or health, so use it wisely when charging into battle.

Barrels on the other hand, you can't pick them up (we have weak arms) There are four different types of barrels that can spawn throughout the hacker space. Each one of them comes with a lingering effect (stays on the ground for a short time.) The list below shows the different types of barrels you can come across

Explosive: The traditional red colored video game style barrels. They explode when you shoot them, which is the traditional barrel. Their lingering effect is shredding health whomever stands in it.

Fire: (WIP) "FIREEEE!" Is what you'll be screaming when the barrel explodes. It causes the fire effect to everybody around it and it's lingering effects is the same, causing more fire to whomever enters in (Pyro would be proud)

Ice: When the barrel explodes, it does damage and slows down everything it touches. It's lingering effects will slow anyone who passes in it, along with damaging them.

Lightning: When the barrel explodes, it will stun you making it much harder to move around, but it won't last long. The lingering effects can trap you inside and damage you, be careful when using these

Heal: (WIP) The healing barrel will heal when explode along with its lingering effect. It's a bit ironic to use but it can be useful to a variety of extends, such as re-healing allies and players.
Tips and Tricks
These are the rest of my tips of what I have for servers.

  • You can hack multiple servers at once.
  • If you hack multiple servers at once they will attack each other out of self defense. This is a good idea to keep in mind if you want to distract some enemies, doing their job for you. You need to be inside all their boundaries to hack them all at the same time, constricting your fighting space.
  • A server that looks like a medieval tower (called a fort) dispenses enemies at the start, hack those and they will become your allies.
  • You might come across a linked server, servers connected together. When you hack one of them, the linked servers will activate their defenses, takes longer to hack, and their enemies won't attack each other. But the linked servers will be hacked at the same time and give you seperate rewards

That is it for all. Thank you for reading my guide, and happy hacking!

The arcade is where you can sell your things the earliest, any of them will take any items. If you start off a new character, you have to wait to get out of the starter area. When you enter the arcade, head straight towards the back, then you can sell any items to any shop, they're not picky. Happy hacking!

I was unsure what the different colours meant, I thought it was an element type but now I know which servers to beeline for and which to ship (for now) so thank you for this!
