Unfortunately the extra levels are often too short for shortcuts, so our gorgon friend doesn't have too many lines in them :(

She's hinting at you telling to to get to a ledge on the next screen.

I think i accidently missed this spot like 3 times trying to %100 the game lol. It's not a very natural jump to try.

She's not very chatty. Don't worry Estylla, I'll keep playing the game after we beat it (that's why i started speedrunning).

I remember triggering this dialog on accident, it's a pretty good easter egg. After this she'll refuse to talk to you. She really wants you to get those times.

Estylla isn't the only person with special race mode lines btw. Syax told me in the S&S discord the witch friend also has special lines in race mode.

Presumably this has to do with one of Syax's previous games, but i've not really gottem into them so i've missed the reference unfortunately.

If you find this strange, keep in mind Harvest event was realeased several months after khimera for free. A lot of players (like me) returned to the game specifically to play the Harvest event.

I know at least one person really needed to know the boss had four candies :)

So here's a fun little feature Khimera has, You know how our chatty friend is in charge of the checkpoints for the game. Well there is a problem with the checkpoints. There's a subsection of speedrunning where you only do one level (Individual level runs). If you're grinding these IL's for the best possible time having a single death essentially loses the run and you have to start the entire level from the beginning. So when you're grinding, respawning at the checkpoint is actually really inconvenient. Luckily Syax gives us speedrunners a lot of attention and gave us a feature to turn the checkpoints off in the options menu.

Now for speedrunners this is great! However if you leave the checkpoints off you get this little easter egg in town.
