Intro
I have finished the game, with three endings.
Only have Death's Justiciar and Editor (for the Pioneer) left open.
I am not planning to continue playing, so any input is welcomed
(Thanks out to Sasaki Santa for providing info)

Haven't seen any guides, even on the web, so I figured I start one.

Most of the info I found was in the discussion area, but I found a Wiki web site that listed all the "Concerns" (I will call them Quests from now on) and the steps for each. Although it is missing some info.

https://ahouseofmanydoors.gamepedia.com/Concerns
https://ahouseofmanydoors.gamepedia.com/Concerns

The Site also has a list of Locations that list selection of choices and the stores:

https://ahouseofmanydoors.gamepedia.com/Category:Locations

Also there is a Map Guide made by Altotas that is a great guide for all the locations.

General Achievements

I got this when I was sitting out side of a City while check Info menu

You need to talk to Rotherford first, to have it happen.
Very soon after the beginning of the game, when I approached the City of Keys, my Heartlight went out. Choose to sacrifice your heart to replace it.

Just kill a prisoner. (Might want to save first, since you get a Relationship hit)
You can get this while doing some quests, but killing a prisoner is quicker.

Find a freindly traveling kinetopede (they are the ones that don't come after you and can trade with, or the ones that beg for fuel)
You need to choose to Attack, and the Achievement should pop. No need to even fight the battle.

Well, go insane. Just never rest. There are some locations that drive you insane regardless.

There is a chance everytime you drink coffee you can get this.
But I found that if you purchase a bunch of coffee, (8 should do) will do it. Go outside of a city and just keep drinking coffee.
I think you can also get Smiling, since you go insane.
(Should save first before buying the coffee, then reload after)

Following the story line, you will get a Key to open one of the Doors.
Also, you can find keys to open doors, which will also give you the achievement.

Have an upper-deck crewmember die in combat.

City based Achievements
City of Keys:

When you go to your home city, the City of Keys, visit your dwelling and select "Write a Poem"
You also get the Distinction: Poet

Still working on this
Doing it for the Pioneer and at 28. For the quest you get from the Editor to find her grandfather, I told the truth, which may have screwed the Achievement.

You will have to upgrade your dwelling in the City of Keys, several times.
First time costs 2000
Second time costs 10,000
Third time costs 30,000
And then you need 100,000 for the last upgrade.

Museum of Unnatural Curiosity:
In City of Keys

There is an excellent guide made by bobsson that has a lot of detail about the Museum:

http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1263462737
I am only going to give general info about getting these Achievements.
Remember, you don't have to open the Museum when it's 100%, you can still donate items to affect the type.
Also Prof Ambrose and Elga comment about the type towards completing.
Prof Ambrose comments about the Academic and Beauty.
Elga says boring, but splended if Morbitiy.

Most likely to get this, since most of the items you donate increase Academic.

Good Items to donate for Morbidity are: Old Bones, Bottled Darkness, and Hands of Glory.
You actually make a whole bunch of Hands of Glory right in the City of Keys.
Buy Gallows Candles and for every five you can create Hands of Glory.

You can buy a whole bunch of Wonderous Devices in the City of Engines. They boost beauty alot and reduce Academic and Morbidy.
(Save first, because they cost a lot, and then you can reload)

Good Items for Insanity are: Bizarre Effigys, Arcane Codex, Bottled Darkness, Occult Relic, and Ancient Grimoire.
At the opening, choose cackle with hysterical laughter and all hell will break loose.
I think if you choose to thank Ambrose and Elga, you will probally get the Morbidity Museum.

City Related:

When you get to the City of Bridges, you can pick up a quest to hunt down raiders. Hunt down one and turn it in for Achievement.

In Penitent's Buff there is an arena. Just have to win the fight to get it

To do this one, at the start you will need 50+ in Grit and 50+ in Esoterica, plus the Distinction : Poet
Go to Fargle Keep and petition to be a Poet-Knight. Follow the quest line and at the end, you get the Achievement.

When wandering in Recalcitrance (far SW, and a Fetch Mirror City), you get approached by someone who wants you to swallow Moths, just agree, and Acheivement should pop.

You can sell a Human prisoner in the Filimenor Hospital (i.e. store), to get this.
Also, you can sell a prisoner in Scornvaunt.
Achievements From Crew Member Quests
General Achievements from Crew Quests:

Recurit Geneieve Caul. Do her quest to hunt down the Vampire. When you turn it in, you should get this Achievement.

(For some reason, I have it listed as a Distinction: Vampire Hunter in game and could have sworrn I saw the Steam Achievement pop up, but it is not showing up in Steam as done.)
Tried hunting two more with no sucess.

Recuirt Nicholas Verdant. You will need a "Radical Pamphlet" to start his quest. Follow along his quest line, and at the end choose to kill the Beggar's God yourself.

Recuirt Gladys Skarter. Follow along her quest line. When she confronts Dr. Doscheki in Hextall, help her drill out the memory to the memory box. You will need an Empty Memory Box, which are sold in Phobetor Quinn (somewhat north of Hextall)

Special Achievements:

During the quest line for Otto, and you get to the optivore hawk at Buzzard's Omen, don't wear the goggles, and then grab for the bird. If you fail the check, you should lose an eye.

Note: After I completed his quest, I was able to get it again, but I had very high stats, I passed the check.

Get the "Chasmonauts" in the City of Bridges. Join Anton in his trip down and follow him out.
You need to fail the check with the murder of metal crows and choose to cut off your infected arm.
You then need a high rep with Gladys to be able to replace it.

End Game Achievements
Achievements based on endings:

At some point you will have to choose between A Dream of Trees and A Night of Clocks.

These two are The A Dream of Trees choice:

The game saves when entering the Orchard, so you can reload and get the other ending.

When in the Orchard, choose to leave the House. You will have to fight the Governor.
Depending on your crew and World selection, you will get background on what happens to your crew members.

When in the Orchard, choose to eat the fruit.
You will be returned to the House to continue quests/exploring/whatever.

This choice is from A Night of Clocks:

Note: The game warns you, if pick this choice it will delete all saves and uninstall it at the end.

Once you have the Threshold key, you go all the way south. Fight the God defending the Door. Then watch as the game deletes everything

Warning: MAJOR SPOILER

Collect all fragments of the Trickster:
1) You dreamed of a man wearing the mask of a fox. Finish Hunting Lord Reynard by letting Judith kill Lord Reynard.
2) You dreamed of a prison cell, a clown doll, and a vicious old man in a top hat. Finish Ransack's Redemption by taking Owlglass.
3) You dreamed of an impossibly-proportioned castle, and a sleeping boy in a coffin beneath. Retrieve the coffin from the Fractal Fortress.
4) You dreamed of a cardboard moon, hanging over a village of colourful bricks. Steal the moon in Latch.
5) You dreamed of a muscular old man in a steam-clogged labyrinth beneath Phobetor Quinn. Finish Delving: The Stupefaction Baths.
6) You dreamed of a mile-high pillar of conjoined crows. Finish The Hunger of Crows.
7) You dreamed of Viola Nox. Tell Viola Nox you know she is an Aspect of the Trickster.

Then you have to go to the Lonely Firepit, to the far northwest - I don't think this area can be found by your navigator, but it's involved in Fiona's concern, so that's a good way to discover it

I was unable to do this one unless I started over, since I screwed up with getting two fragments.
"Challenge" Achievements
I have these achievements as "Challenge" ones, since they take a bit of effect.

Defeat Tyrannic.
I am not much into combat, so I don't plan to do this.

Complete game with the starting crew. You can not add any new crew. This would prevent you from doing any Crew Quest Achievements.

Well, explore the entire House.
Currently seems to be bugged.

Thankfully, the new unofficial patch claims to have fixed the Explorer bug.

Really haven't been back to this game, (damm so many games I keep buying :cozybethesda:)
So go ahead and make a guide.

BTW, I bought Sunless Seas (same type of game) on sale, which people say is a better game.
Hell, don't know when I am going to play it with about 12 games I still in my games to play list.
And they have now released Sunless Skies.

Ahhh, I see you don't have Death's Justiciar on here. That's the one that you need to do to avenge Lady Death and kill the immortals. If you don't have anything, I may create a guide (eventually) on how to do it. Or I can probably help a bit...

Just wanted to add that the Editor achievement seems to be exclusive to the Key Details. It happens if you choose to fight back for the journal's existence, and after you infiltrate Kennedy Yard and drop the editor at the Old Hallow.
