Unlock 60 FPS Limit
By ZP
Just a very easy way to get as many fps as you want in-game. Just have to modify the right .ini file !
Takes less than 2 minutes

How to unlock your FPS
Just go to where you have your AppData folder and find the laser league folder :

"HDLetter":\Users\"YourName"\AppData\Local\Laser_League\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

For example for me it is :
C:\Users\ZP\AppData\Local\Laser_League\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Then edit the file "GameUserSettings.ini", and modify the line "FrameRateLimit=60.000000" to the number of fps you want.

To note : Going above 120 fps using this method is not recommended, it can causes crashes.

Says 500, so I guess this thread is super outdated.

If you can't find it by looking in the settings, then there is no hope for you tbh. You probably don't even NEED the FPS unlocked unless you know what it does. This is only really useful for monitors that run at a refresh rate higher than the default of 60Hz. Mine does, and when the framerate is at 144FPS it is much smoother feeling than when it is at 60, because it updates the picture more frequently, which gives it a smoother feel.

@kaviwavi it is there. If you look in the settings of the game, there is an option for "FPS limit" You can set it to 60, 120, or unlimited. Then, you cap the framerate using Vsync.

@kaviwi555 this is not even necessary anymore. The option for FPS unlock is in the menus. This was only for when the game was in beta, so it's kind of pointless now. The file is there, though.

@Wilza well, I was more referring to 144hz monitors. Any more than that is basically redundant. But with 60Hz, having more FPS reduces input lag, but increases screen tearing.

"there is literally no reason to have higher FPS than your monitor's refresh rate"
Not true. Check out this video by 3kliksphilip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjWSRTYV8e0

yeah that is true, I guess a lot of people don't really want to download 3rd party software and would just rather edit the config. I remember though in the beta, that editing the configuration file framerate cap caused desyncs more often (or maybe that was a placebo)
