Rare game require certain conditions to spawn; i.e. kill x number of mobs in this area.
Trophy Game have some of the same conditions of rare game but once you kill them once, they are gone for good. Some are worth farming via Stealing for Bazaar drops, so be mindful of that.
Hunts are progression-based. They generally come in sets as you progress through the story as well as the hunt club.
Finally the bestiary. There are some mobs that are time sensitive and if you miss them it might be awhile before you can get them again. None are actually missable. Ghosts in Garamsythe come to mind. I go over that enemy specifically in my "Comprehensive Loot Guide". If you want more info on that check that guide under "Enemy Variants Changes" section. There are a few other tricky mobs spawn conditions, but nothing missable.
Hope that helps.
I've watched Zeroskar do an all hunts + rare games etc. run and he was saying that there were some rare game that can only be fought at a specific point in time..i.e. going too far forward, you lose the chance to fight them again...is this still prevalent in the PC version of the game, and if so, which Rare Games are missable?
I plan on starting my playthrough of this game right after I finish grinding out what I can in Shiren 6, so I want to make sure of things before I start since I want to do a 100% run of the game.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Chests 35 and 36 are placed at the EXACT same location (on a dangerous trap) and may spawn at the same time (it happened to me yesterday)
Just from memory, I can say that in zones in which you cannot return to such as Dreadnought Leviathan; all the "One Time Only" chests that contain spells and what not have a linked chest elsewhere. So you can't even miss those. While these zones do have "One Time Only" chests that you can miss, they generally contain consumable items like Reflectaga Motes and the link. Nothing too dramatic.
Bottom line here is; don't worry about "Missing Out" on chests, as it's highly unlikely you will ever miss anything important. Just follow the guide if you’re worried about it and make sure you snag all the "One Time Only" chests in each zone as you progress.
Also, don't worry about asking too many questions if you don't fully understand it. That's what we're all here for bud.
