Airstrafing is very basic, nonetheless, it is crucial to rocket jumping and market gardening.

You MUST know how to rocket jump in order to market garden. It is a fundamental step in learning how to market garden as well as the mechanics of this game.

If this ever occurs, it is always best to avoid these fights as it will be a major disadvantage to you. You must either bait one of them or run. If you do bait, you must try to get only one member and kill them off, allowing you to be in a 1v1 situation.


Doing small jumps allow you to quickly kill them as it will not let your opponent to compensate. However, if you do this, you must learn how to airstrafe well and to be as fast as possible.


Use your rocket launcher to give yourself time and to delay your opponents. This will either allow you to run away or give you time to jump at them. So, make sure to practice your airshots.


I can't stress this enough, but ROCKET JUMPING is the only way for you to market garden. If you improve yourself with rocket jumping, it can give you such a huge advantage compared to other players.


Predicting where your opponenet will jump next is also a big deal too. When you predict you will be able to either stop them before the hit you or you will be able to kill them. Predicting is all based on intuition and guessing based on their movements so it might be difficult at first.


Practicing is the only way for you to get better. No one isn't instantly a god after 1 night, so make sure you practice a lot.


In addition to this guide, if there are really good players, ask them for tips. They will almost 90% of the time help you. They each have a different playstyle and learning certain tricks from them will always aid in your improvement.


This is most likely the most important factor to this. If you can have fun doing this, then you practically won the game. Having fun is a basic part in playing a video game. Don't just grind this out and enjoy it.
