Morty's UI config
By likho1eye
This config rearranges several UI widgets to better fit large resolution screens.
I took inspiration from Cry's config found here: link.
This config is built by hand and makes proper use of relative widget attachments. So even though it was designed and tested for 1920x1080 resolution, it should scale well for smaller screens.

About
I wanted to improve on some of Cry's widget arrangement and remove any coloring extras that I felt were unnecessary and confusing.
I find positioning the ammo+health meters behind the main weapon, and abilities at the left hand, feeling much more natural, rather than just clustering them to save the space.

Following high level changes were made as compared to default config:
  1. Clustered health, ammo and ability widgets behind the player model's hands.
  2. Moved minimap to the top left corner
  3. Moved objective meter to the mid left
  4. Respawn timer up and center
  5. Moved badge notification to the bottom right corner and increased its timeout from 3 seconds to 15
  6. Removed a number of unused config variables

Installation
Download link[www.dropbox.com]

  • Navigate to your "C:\Users\<user>\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\ShooterGame\Config" folder
  • Make a copy of your old ShooterUI.ini just in case
  • Replace it with the downloaded one

Important: If the game keeps resetting this file to default, copy the IniVersion section from your original file and paste it into this one.

Also it's a cool hud.

You can do read-only thing, but the game will complain about it every time you start it.
Thanks.

Another way to keep the game from resetting to default is making it "read only". Other than that, not that bad of a hud

64 bit version didn't load for me either, but 32 bit worked fine. Just run it as admin.

I do have HUDedit editor,it doesn't load it.

Well, you either edit [ShooterGame.SGUIHUDPlayer] section in the ShooterUI.ini by hand or you can use HUDedit editor, which I personally found buggy and limited.
