And oh yeah, I kind of designed Gwen's personality to be very similar to a healthy ENFP personality (if you're familiar with Myers-Briggs 16 personalities). So she's very friendly and fun-loving on the outside but also has a fair bit of depth and a nerd streak beneath the surface.
Oh ok. I've not heard of 'Long live the Queen'. Non-combat solutions are always a fun thing to explore in games. I wanted to make every interactable library book useful in some way during the game. So I had to give Existential Philosophy its own err... existential meaning in the grand scheme of things. :D
And yeah, of course. The guide is very well-written. I am surprised how many accurate details you've managed to gather about the game from just 3 playthroughs. :D
I had a thought of writing some sort of a walkthrough, but I discarded the idea quickly, for the game is pretty linear and from what I've seen you can't really lose at it. More importantly, it is the game about exploration, choice and outcomes, trial and error. While making some sort of a "perfect" playthrough is possible, I feel it is something people should discover on their own.
For Decoder, aside from correct dialogue options, you have to actually uncover the secret message from Evdokim. For that, you either need to have Gwen in the party who recognizes the quote, or to have 'Existential Philosophy' knowledge. If neither of those is the case, then you never get to find the book where the secret message is located, so you'll not be able to get full points on this investigation.
Regarding bedding the girls, you don't have to get rep points with them at every opportunity, though so long as you treat them nice enough (being neutral in their arguments is also possible, though you get more points if you side with the lady in question but lose them with another) and initiate the key romantic actions, you'll be able to score an intimate scene. :)
And regarding the possible ways the ladies can die, perhaps I'll not spoil it yet since you said you wanted to check it out for yourself. :)
Just thought I'd add a few points on a few of them.
For The Tactician, the 3rd screen which has stat checks for all 3, it's actually different values. The Athletics one is 5, Charisma is 4, and Erudition is 3, if I recall. So the whole docks shootout requires that you have at least 3 in Athletics and Erudition to have a chance at getting full points (if you have 2 in one of them, you can always gain another point by ordering the right breakfast earlier that day).
For the Interrogator, you actually can say that Hanzel is lying, but only the first time. The second time, the correct choice is to ask him for evidence, whilst to continue trolling him will just make him angry. :)
