How to get started
Usually when you join a team, you must select Terrorist. Otherwise in some servers, you might just be automatically transfer to Terrorist. If you select Counter Terrorist, other team will ask if you have a mic, failure to comply with a mic leads to transfer.

As Terrorist (Prisoner), you need to kill all the Counter Terrorists. You have to work together with your team if you want to overwhelm them. It not only takes skill to kill them, but also some wits. Obey their commands until the time is right to rebel against them.

As Counter Terrorist (Prisoner Guard), you and your team have to control the Terrorists and follow the day. This includes playing a game that involves killing them (Like for instance, Simon says. Whoever did it first or last gets killed. The whole point is having the terrorists to follow the rules. Failure for them to follow you or your team's rule results in killing them. Never shoot or kill them unless theres an actual reason to do so (such as their attempt to kill you, wielding a gun, failure to listen orders etc.).

Remember you need a MIC if you want to join Counter Terrorist. Otherwise, you will always be Terrorist.
Gameplay
In maps there are different kind of cells and rooms you will be exploring later throughout the game.

Counter Terrorists can explore the places as they wish as long as they dont interfere whoever calls the day. At most servers, you are not allowed to camp in vents and in every server, you are not allowed to camp in the gun room (where Counter Terrorists usually spawn, or at least near). Counter Terrorists can either spawn with guns or simply pick up the guns they wanted from the gun room. Counter Terrorists are not allowed to make a free kill. Excessive free killing can get you banned. If you are the caller, your job is to call the day. Failure to do so may end up with you being transfer to Terrorist team, since usually everyone needs to make the call. If they told you that you need to call the day, then you must.

As Terrorist you can almost do whatever you want without any pressure on the rules as its more focus on Counter Terrorists than Terrorists. Your job is plain and simple, kill all Counter Terrorists whatever which way you can. Every Terrorist start off with a knife. You can spook and pressure them into shooting you. If they kill you by accident, you earn a free day next round where you can explore places whatever you want and not have to be involved getting killed until you and one other of your team are last ones alive. Which usually ends with a dice match.

However, as Terrorist you can do what you can to kill them all even on your free day. Though gun room will always be restricted even on free day. If you are caught in the gun room the counter terrorists will likely shoot you. Its usually safer to go in it when they are not around or if you are not seen. The moment you either take out your gun or shoot them, they'll kill you. So make sure your action is worth it. Killing a caller will push Counter Terrorists into figuring out on who will call the day.

The main point as Terrorists is to plan together in team chat and find a way through. Either that, or simply acknowledge by their action (such as one distracting the Counter Terrorist, if you are near one you can try to kill that one as long as they are unaware of your presence). Rebel at the right moment and you can overwhelm them.

NOTE: Theres more Terrorists than Counter Terrorists, and usually theres suppose to be more Terrorists than Counter Terrorists because it balances the game. If theres too many Counter Terrorists, one of them must transfer to Terrorist to balance the game, even if you have a mic.
End
This mode requires brains and skills, because as Terrorist you want to find a way to kill them. Killing them heads on are usually a bad mistake since they have guns. Taking one them out of sacrifice is worth it, because thats one less problem to deal with for your team. This can make rebelling a bit more easier.

As Counter Terrorist, you need to make sure you have your reason to make a kill. As long as its reasonable and doesnt harm the rules, you will be ok and the terrorist that died wont get anything from the death (such as a free day). The only way to kill all Terrorists is to make sure they fail to follow the orders, even if its a game like Deathrun or a Race (Depending which custom map you are playing, it all varies).
